Girl's Trip to Charleston

Our stay in Charleston was wonderful! The house was clean and in a great location. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to walk to several restaurants. Nancy and Forrest were easy to communicate with and willing to help with anything we needed. I would stay here again!

Fantastic Weekend Stay!

My family and I had an amazing time at this gem of a home. We have frequented Charleston over the years, and it was such a treat to stay in and explore a new neighborhood. Nancy and Forrest were so helpful and communicative and their place is amazing!

Terrific Girls' Weekend

Met friends for the weekend and loved our Charleston stay. Easy drive to historic downtown and close to great little restaurants. The home was clean, comfortable and has a welcoming vibe. Definitely recommend. :)

Centralized Location for Charleston Wedding

We stayed at this property while in Charleston for our niece’s wedding. The host left great local restaurant recommendations that were within walking distance. We were able to quickly uber to our other venues at The Dewberry Hotel and The Garden House. Great quiet, clean place to relax between festivities.

Girls Weekend Away

High school friends doing their yearly excursion, chose Charleston this year. Good size home which comfortably worked for the 5 of us. Car needed to get to most attractions from this location. Hot/cold water temps in smaller bath were a bit temperamental, but overall the cozy home suited our needs nicely.

Kindergal Reunion

Hampton Palm is situated in quiet historic neighborhood within blocks to the Citadel and Hampton Park. Beautifully restored, providing well equipped kitchen and baths and many areas to visit both inside and out. 4 beds - all very comfortable ! We gathered to celebrate 55+ yrs of friendship and our 60 th birthdays. A few minute drive to downtown to enjoy numerous restaurants and shopping. A day at Isle of Palm , just a 25 minute drive. We experienced the southern hospitality Charleston is known for everywhere we went. Mass at St. Patrick’s was a treat as well. Thank you for providing us with a lovely spot to call home for 4 days.

Absolutely perfect

The house and host are the perfection of expectation. This house is wonderful and the communication by the host is impeccable. This was for a girl's trip (3) and we were completely happy with the house and the location (the neighborhood is eclectic, and a right or left turn could put you in a sketchy area but no direct feelings of danger. The house is comfortable and has a warm, inviting feel as soon as you walk in the door. Everything is thought of (toiletries in the shower, clear instructions, recommendations). If you are looking to party or make a lot of noise, do not rent as the host deserves better tenants - they know how to do it right. Thanks for the great experience.

Lovely home close to downtown

House was great, proximity to downtown was very convenient. Street seemed a bit sketchy but was quiet. Couple minor things for the house - there was no trash can to speak of and the master bath had no toilet paper holder. Minor inconveniences, but also easily addressed. We were a bit taken aback by the accusation that we were having a party in the house. From when we requested the booking to when we checked in we communicated clearly who was in our family party - 2 parents, 4 adult children (with only 2 sleeping there). No one additional was ever in the house. I do understand you need to follow up on reports from neighbors but it made us uncomfortable the remainder of our stay. We are very responsible people.

Charming and peaceful!

Our travel group consisted of five women visiting Charleston for the first time. I had never booked a VRBO, so I was a bit nervous, but the process was flawless. Our host was in contact with me and provided clear check in and check out instructions. The house itself was charming, comfortable and absolutely spotless! At the end of a busy day in downtown Charleston we would all retreat to the adorable backyard/patio and enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood. If you are feeling adventurous you could walk to King St. but we opted for a short 5 minute Uber ride. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Charleston and would definitely recommend this property!

Hampton place has been impeccable both times we have stayed. Well-appointed bathrooms and kitchens. Both stays, the unit has been sparkling clean. Within walking distance to the Citadel campus and football stadium.

What a cute, comfortable home. Location wasn’t far from the shopping on King and within walking distance to cute coffee shops and boutiques in the neighborhood. Really nice, relaxing vacation for the 3 of us.

Charming Charleston Girls Getaway

Four friends celebrating 25 year high school reunion in Charleston stayed at this charming, well-appointed home and enjoyed every minute! Perfect for our group!

Property was accurately depicted in the description, clean and spacious. Location was on a quiet street. Drive to downtown was approximately 10 minutes. This is a downstairs unit but i didnt hear the folks in the upstairs once. Had a bit of communication issues with our host but that was no fault of hers as there was a telecom outage. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend to others.

Beautiful Neighborhood and Home

We had a wonderful time catching up with friends while enjoying all the sights and restaurants of historical Charleston. The homeowner was quick to answer any questions and gladly helped with any requests. Would definitely stay here again. The home and patio are perfect for small gatherings with friends and family!

Family Holiday Visit

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The home is comfortable and very much like the photos. No surprises there. While the location is not King St, It was perfect for us as my nieces house is near by. You do need a car, however there we lots of fun little coffee shops in the area and also good options near by to grab a quick bite to eat or a cocktail!

Wonderful girls weekend!

This was a perfect place for our annual girls weekend! We had a group of 5 women. Even though we ate out most meals, the kitchen was very well stocked. It was comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The host was on site and very welcoming! Highly recommend staying here as it was close proximity to restaurants (Harold’s was awesome!) and a short Uber ride downtown. The Citadel is within walking distance with a gorgeous park nearby.

Beautiful house and neighborhood

I brought my aunt and sister with me to visit Charleston and have a fun weekend, this house made our trip so much better. It is in a great neighborhood and was so beautiful inside. We each had our own bedroom and the two bathrooms were nice sized. We took full advantage of the backyard and fire pit table. It was very quiet and the beds very comfortable. Would recommend this house to anyone who wants to have an enjoyable time!!! Also to note the property manager was readily available and the check out process did not ask us to do too much which is very welcoming.

We absolutely loved this property. It's within walking distance of nearly everything we wanted to visit, very close to the airport, and in a quiet neighborhood. The house is a wonderful size with plenty of conversation spaces to catch up with family and friends. Would absolutely book again.

We live nearby and are proud of our Hampton Park home. Charleston is a special place and the Hampton Park Terrace neighborhood allows us to enjoy the City and then come home to quiet. We came to Charleston to visit and ended up staying - be careful, it might happen to you!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Quiet, safe, large, new and clean 2 story home - you will be renting the entire first floor and have private access to the backyard. The space allows up to 6 folks to share the space and not feel cramped. Blackout curtains and full closets in each bedroom. The master offers an ensuite bath and the hall bath does not require access through a bedroom- good for everyone including guests. - 20 minutes north to the airport. 20 minutes out to Folly Beach. 4 block walk to the Citadel. 5 minute walk to Upper King St. restaurants. Free, off-street parking for 2. Free on street parking for more. We are a legal short term Charleston rental Inspected and compliant with fire regulations. Easy Uber to lower king. Anything else you need? Oh, a very responsive manager with local knowledge to share. And a property that is treated well. We do not allow parties on site - that means you may not host gatherings of people who are not listed on the rental agreement. We disclose an outdoor security camera on the premises.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

There are many aspects to this property that set it apart from other short-term rentals in the city. First, its location allows for a 2-minute walk to the Peninsula's largest Hampton Park and a 5-minute walk to some of Charleston's premier restaurants, all while remaining in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We provide off-street parking for two full-sized vehicles that allows for easy entry and exit to our ground floor home, even with heavy luggage. The fenced in back yard w/ fire pit and front veranda offer blissful outdoor seating for drinks and dinner and you do not have to share with anyone during your stay. Our home provides many boutique type amenities and a real kitchen in which to whip up a meal for your family. Our property manager lives next door and is always happy to answer any questions our guests may have, and to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. As a Charleston local, he is happy to share knowledge about navigating the city and to help our guests experience all of what Charleston has to offer. But remember - no parties! What is a party? We define it as a group of folks gathering with you at the house who are not on the rental agreement.
Also, no flames and/or smoking indoors or on the front porch. Do not attach anything to the walls with tape, nails, staples. etc. Thanks !
