Welcome to one of Carbondale's original homes—renovated & professionally designed into a charming modern southwest abode in the heart of Downtown Carbondale! This retreat is adorned with plush linens, memory foam beds, cozy seating, & vintage accents. It features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, but can accommodate up to 5 guests & is ideal for families. You are steps away from True Nature, Village Smithy, & Main Streets quaint boutiques - no need to drive anywhere to enjoy all of Carbondale's charm!
Step into this southwestern-inspired historic Carbondale home, tucked right off Main Street, and be welcomed by a sunny entry room to hang your hat. The home, professionally curated by a local designer, blends antique accents with modern touches. To your right, a gorgeous sitting room with large bay windows invites you to enjoy a steaming mug of coffee in the morning while reading a book or gathering with friends and family. The couch in the sitting room pulls out to a comfortable queen-sized bed and the room offers privacy curtains to turn it into a private room. Past the entry, the dining room provides ample space for the whole family. Adjacent to the dining room is a queen-sized guest bedroom with a lodge pole bed and large closet. Beyond the dining room is the living room, equipped with a leather couch and new Roku Smart TV. Just off the living room is a fun playroom for the kids, stocked with toys to keep them entertained.
Large French doors lead from the dining room to your side patio, offering an alfresco dining experience in the summertime. The wrap-around patio provides ample space to enjoy the Colorado outdoors, including a dining patio with a seating area adorned with café lights, a side sitting area flanked by a lush summertime garden, and a front porch. Your space is private and boasts generous outdoor areas, even in the heart of downtown. The home also includes a back cabin rented out short term, with the back yard dedicated to the back cabin renters while the front patio and side yard are exclusively yours with no shared areas.
Past the living room, the large, newly-renovated kitchen offers ample storage and floating wood shelves and pantry. The fully-equipped kitchen ensures you can enjoy cooking for any occasion. Off the kitchen, the newly-remodeled bathroom features a tub/shower, double vanity, and brand new washer/dryer. The primary bedroom, a more recent addition just off the kitchen and bathroom, boasts pitched wood ceilings, three large windows, wood floors, a large closet, and a plush king memory foam mattress. Offset from the rest of the home, this warm room is a favorite for relaxing in peace.
The location is perfect, just steps away from Carbondale's finest attractions: The Village Smithy, El Dorado, True Nature Healing Art, Phat Thai, Allegria, The Rio Grande bike path, and a variety of fun, funky boutiques along Main Street. While directly next to Main Street, the privacy of this home is ideal, with a large fence surrounding the property making you feel secluded even in the midst of downtown. The landscaping is lush in the summertime and tucks the home inside a secret garden.

PLEASE NOTE:
- The back cabin is also rented short term to 2 guests - the back yard is the back cabin's dedicated space so we ask you do not use it unless taking out the trash. The cabin guests have their own private entrance and the home is divided up so no one should disturb the other!
- PET POLICY: We allow up to two well-behaved DOGS in the space as long as they are disclosed to us before arrival. There is a $250 pet fee for every 7 nights at the home. Airbnb is only able to charge for the first 7-nights so, if you book for over 7 nights, we will send you the remaining pet fee through the resolution center after booking. If pets are not disclosed and the pet policies are not followed, there is a $1000 fine. Pets cannot be left alone in the home alone (unless crated), dispose of pet waste, and please keep pets off of furniture. Please follow these rules if your dog is staying with us and help us keep this space pet-friendly for our guests!
- This space is located next to an alleyway just off of Main Street in downtown Carbondale. Occasionally there is noise from the fabulous restaurants that we live next to or the trash trucks that drive through occasionally.
- Boutique Mountain Homes verifies identity and checks criminal databases for guests we host. After booking this space you will receive an email to complete your screening from our third-party guest verification company. By booking this space, you agree to complete this verification within 24 hours of booking.
- We require the home to be cleaned every 14 days during a stay, a service that is included in your booking payment up to 29 nights. If you have booked for 30+ nights, an additional payment will be requested after your booking is confirmed to cover this service.
- You will be staying in the heart of the beautiful - and wild - mountains of Colorado. You may see or experience animals and pests such as bears, deer, elk, mice, packrats, insects, bobcats, snakes, raccoons, and other such wild things. While all our homes are well-managed, we cannot predict the unpredictable as we live in a natural setting. Please understand this prior to booking this home.
