Wonderful Beaches

We had a wonderful week long stay at this property. It is very roomy and clean. We felt safe here and there are some really amazing beaches close by. I personally enjoyed the views out back by the pool with my morning coffee. The neighborhood is very quiet. This was one of our best vacations and would certainly stay here again.

The house is spectacular, clean, very spacious, super beautiful, and the place is very quiet. In addition to the garden, I loved the only thing that if I wanted to comment that the air conditioning was a little hot, we were hot when sleeping. Otherwise, everything was super good. I'm going to recommend it 😊

Great spacious place near fishing and beaching

The property is very open with a nice sized pool. The room with 2 double bed bunk beds was perfect for the kids. Loved the large L-shaped couch for hanging out. Appreciated the screened in porch to keep critters out but still be outdoors.

Spring break trip

The house worked out perfectly. Was very happy with the location and the accommodations. The only downside which was small in my opinion, was the washer and dryer took a very long time. Seems like we had towels drying forever. Other than that we had no complaints.

Amazing House

We had the most amazing time renting this property. It had everything our family of 4 ( kids 4 and 8) could need. The kids loved being able to swim and play ping pong. House was perfectly equipped for meals and relaxing after a day at the beach. Plenty of restaurants and stores close by. The beaches near by were amazing. We loved heading to Casperson Beach to go hunt for shark tooth. Def recommend this house!!!

Comfortable house and great experience

This property was well equiped and very clean . The owner is great and was extremely responsive to every inquiry. The master suite is great with very comfortable king bed and large bathroom and shower. The pool screen was missing as a result of the hurricane but we actually didn't mind. The pool and pool area is great and well equiped. Only minor drawaback is the lounge chairs were hard and not comfortable. We were very happy with our stay and would rent again.

Great location in the Venice/Punta Gorda area

The property is exactly as advertised. We enjoyed using the kitchen and preparing great meals. the pool guy came around on Wed and showed us how to adjust the heater as the outside temp was a bit cool when we were there. We have friends and family in the area and although no one came we had plenty of room to entertain had they come over. Abundant golf and other sites in the area. enjoyed the house and would stay there again. Tom and Sharon

Great house terrible managmemt

They charge you for warming their pool but don't mention that in the listing Their pool gets dirty quickly and will turn green because they don't clean it or treat it properly. They charge for all new towels if they have any discoloration even though they are white towels. They will charge you for new bedding just because… Again great house, terrible Managment

Nice property, multi unit

The property was great, the issues I had didn't have anything to do with the hosts. I should have read more thoroughly that it was multi unit. The other tenants were loud and didn't believe me when I told them the pool was for our rental only. Again, not the hosts fault and no reflection on the property itself, but if you do rent the middle unit you may have those conversations repeatedly with the other renters.

Mom’s Trip

We came for a little long weekend getaway, group of 7 women. House was great, lots of room in open dinning and living area. Outdoor patio space was also great. We had some issues with the outlets outside, but eventually we’re able to get everything to work. The curb appeal from the front was nice, but the lawn and landscaping in the back was a little rough, board covering back windows. There were other tenants on both sides of the house in what must be tiny units which we were not excepting. Neighborhood was different in that it a took a bit to get to any gas station or store and several houses still with significant storm damage. Overall great place!

Family Gathering

We loved the house it had everything we needed. I had wished the pool had been cleaned before or at least some time during our stay but we were told they come on Tuesdays. There was a ring of little bugs all around the whole pool. We also rented the house because it said on the listing we could have a party there which is why we chose that house. During our small baby shower there was a knock on the door from a neighbor telling me I was not allowed to have all those people there. It all was straightened out and we ended up having a nice time all in all but I could have done without the intrusion.

Huge disappointment!

To begin, this property was located in a very inferior area with multi-family apartments both attached, and to either side of the home, and with no sidewalks in that area. Literally had to walk in other people’s yards to take a walk. The linens and furniture were extremely worn, and had to cover them in order to be used. Under the furnishings we found dust, dirt, dead bugs, food, trash and kid’s toys. The pool would not heat for days and the water level became too low for the heater to even function. We were then informed that we were to be charged for having our golf cart trailer in the driveway, which was not mentioned in the listing, even though in a golf cart community. We booked the property on a non-refundable basis for 3 weeks, but we’re so displeased and uncomfortable, that we only stayed 9 days. Such a waste of money!

Upkeep of the property was lacking.

This property had not been mowed in quite some time, evident by the high weeds everywhere and the burs stuck all over my dog. It took me an hour to pull them all out of his coat & it was quite painful for the dog. We could not walk in any part of the yard. The couches are very badly worn. We paid a cleaning fee but found cobwebs on many pieces of decor. No can opener provided and no dishwasher soap. Jacuzzi doesn't work. Screen doors on either side of the lanai do not lock, making the home vulnerable. Only one kitchen drying towel in the house and no dish cloths at all. I have rented numerous VRBO homes and never have I been told I needed to strip the sheets and do a load of laundry. What is the cleaning fee suppose to cover? I feel this information should have been provided upfront and not in the house rules book found at the home. Having to do this dealyed our departure.

Horrible people

My crew came out to rotunda west to help out with doing tree work we had an agreement if she let me stay I would do tree work for her once we looked at the trees in the morning they were bigger than then what the trade would’ve been for stay at her condominium and I gave her a price of 7500 and she would takeoff 2500 for the state and paper thousand we didn’t do an extra tree and she took it upon herself to take $2000 off the remaining balance which we left 3000 once she came to the house and started checking and said that we did this we did that which it was normal wear and tear of across three people staying at her place she didn’t pay she’s crooked she won’t she jacked up the price to 500 instead of 250 per night just not a good person
