Located in the heart of the Poconos, this home boasts a quiet ungated community with large wooded acreage, close proximity to the lake, water parks and scenic hikes in Hickory Run State park.

This is a 2-story mountain getaway that overlooks the community lake. Upstairs is spacious with an open concept kitchen, dining, living and access to 2 decks, a screened porch, sofa bed, fireplace and 2 full baths. Downstairs, the den is set up with a futon, gas fireplace, pool table & full bath. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, dining area that seats 10, smart TVs (Roku) and board games.

FAQ: 4WD recommended in winter, exterior security cameras (front doors, garage and back of the home) for your safety.

Second year back!

We had a great second year at the house! Lauren is quick to communicate with us during the booking, check in, and stay. The area is great with a lot to do even during the winter months. Highly recommend this to groups of friends and family!

Beautiful home

We enjoyed our stay! We had one issue but the host was quick and responsive! Once that issue was taken care of, we had a great time. House was very nice, clean, a lot of room.

Perfect Getaway!

What a beautiful home away from home! I was excited to write a great review because it was such a great place! Everything was perfectly clean, comfortable, and accommodating! The game room was so perfect and fun for our kids, and the kitchen was fully stacked and made hosting friends so fun. We enjoyed making teas and coffees at the coffee bar and loved relaxing at both fireplaces. We will definitely be back, as the place was perfect!

Good Location

Overall stay was enjoyable. Loved the deer all over. Hoped for snow but we missed it ( nothing owners can do about that. lol) Had nice coffee bar. Lots of things for the pups. Games and pool table were nice. Could use some updates our opinion compared other VRBOs we’ve stayed in the past.

It was an excellent stay!

We had a phenomenal stay. The owners were very responsive to our needs and very accommodating. The house was very spacious and very clean. They also accommodated to our dogs by providing a bed and dog bowls. The neighborhood is great too. We look forward to visiting again.

Great stay with some minor comments

Super comfortable and spacious apartment in a great location. The only issue I had was a lack of services (shampoo, toothpaste...) and the place wasn't the cleanest I've ever been to, but by no means dirty/unpleasant. Host was really nice and helpful. Will return in the future.

Beautiful home, peaceful neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our time here. Everything was great and exactly how listed. The check-in process was smooth, easy, and secure. The house was clean and had everything we needed. There was even a dog bed and dog bowls. The lower level and game room area was awesome. Great outdoor spaces too in a really quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We also enjoyed the nearby community. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for kids and dogs!

We had a great time staying in the Poconos for Father’s Day weekend. The house was great and it was a short walk to the lake. You cannot access the lake from the property, but there’s a nice beach with a playground close by.

Great time!

House was great. Just as advertised. Had a great long weekend. Took advantage of nearby Hickory Run SP and made the 1-hour drive to Knoebels Amusement Park for some wooden coaster rides (highly recommend Knoebels - such a pleasant change from the standard amusement park). Hosts were responsive and helpful. You won’t be disappointed here.

Nice house

Nice & clean house, liked that it had a longe with pool table on the first floor for my adult children to hangout. The only issue I had is that the lake wasn’t accessible from the yard due to wet lands.

Great Family Getaway!

Highly recommend- amazing property

Lauren was a great host! The property is in a beautiful area close to a lot of attractions. Lauren was very accommodating to any additional requests and quick to reply when we had questions. Would definitely come back again and recommend this spot to anyone.

Great Cabin Stay with Friends

Had a great overall impression of this booking and stay. Host was very communicative and provided a bunch of detail regarding check in and stay. When we arrived, the place was exactly as it was pictured. We had a couple questions during the stay, but the Host was very quick and helpful to getting us situated. The cabin had everything we needed and made our stay just that much more enjoyable. No one in my party of 5 had any complaints, we had a great time. Surrounding area was nice and quiet, and we were able to enjoy the wooded nature around us.

Awesome Weekend Getaway

Property was exactly has advertised. Loved my stay. The pups enjoyed the home and property as well. Hosts had dog bowls, dog beds and dog treats out for them. Great location and awesome property. Would highly recommend. Small note - bring your own condiments, lol

This was one of the coziest, most spacious, cleanliness, homes I've ever booked. It was so quiet and welcoming. The host Lauren was great at responding to any questions we may have had. I would come and stay again.

Enjoyable, relaxing weekend!

This lovely mountain getaway provided much needed time together before the hustle and bustle of the upcoming holidays. Plenty of room for everyone, this home exceeded our expectations. Owners were easy to work with and provided everything necessary to truly make this a great weekend away.

Vous êtes reçu par Jim & Lauren

We are Mick & Mel, two Mississippi mutts rescued by a set of best friends living out our days in the suburbs of Philly. After spending many years visiting the Poconos, our parents, Jim & Lauren and Bill & Briana wanted a place to call their own.

We spent winter of 2022 recreating this inviting space and are excited to share it with you and your family!

We are two young families excited to combine our love of travel and hosting into this new adventure. We have put a lot of effort into outfitting the house with amenities that make it easy for families to enjoy time together. We focused on creating a space that we love to visit with our children and hope you do as well.

As dog owners and toddler parents, we've make sure to create a space that is safe and welcoming for all. Our home is centrally located in the community, a short walk to the beach, playground, sport courts and community center.
