Reserve our quiet countryside cottage in Leon Springs (suburb of San Antonio) and stay close to several city attractions. 10 minutes from Six Flags Fiesta Texas, shopping and dining at The Rim and La Cantera malls, UTSA, and hiking trails. 15 minutes from Boerne and it’s community of shops, Helotes, and Grey Forest.

Fast Independent Wifi. Perfect for remote work and streaming.

Pet Friendly - No breed or weight restrictions. Large Kennel provided for when pets are left alone. Please do not allow your pets get on the furniture or bed.

Roku Tv with Youtube TV subscription for entertainment.

Handicap and luggage friendly - Doorways are 32" wide.

5 minute drive: Walmart and HEB. HEB is one of the best supermarket chains in the nation. Several dine in restaurants and fast food restaurants: Chick-fil-A, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Wingstop, Whataburger, and several more. 3 coffee shops: Starbucks, 2 local shops, 4 Gas stations, 2 Car Washes

Extra Bed: There is an air mattress that can be setup in the living room. Please request prior to your arrival.

Events: Please don't use the cottage to host parties or large gatherings. You will be escorted off the property and your reservation will be canceled.

Laundry: Please use the laundry room as needed. Detergent, dryer sheets, iron, iron mat, and spray starch provided.

Trash:
Please tie and knot your trash bags to reduce flies. Please dump your trash bags in one of the trash containers located across the driveway, Brown (Normal) Blue (Recycle).

Damage:
Accidents happen. If there is any damage to the property please let me know and we can go through the claims process.

The unit is professionally cleaned after each reservation and we inspect each cleaning job.

AC units are manual and remote. Remote controllers are attached to the each unit.

Very cute and clean little cottage that served our purposes well. Happy that our doggo was welcomed and enjoyed his stay too. Great location. Close to stores, dog parks, trails and attractions.

Perfect weekend cottage

I stayed at Sunflower Cottage while attending an Agility Trial with my 2 dogs. Everything was clean and comfortable! I really appreciate the pet friendly hosts and they made the stay very easy! Hope to stay again soon!

A peaceful retreat. The Sunflower cottage was even better in person. Excellently decorated and very comfortable. Owners were very helpful if anything was needed.

Super cozy!

My husband and I were in town for his surgery, so he spent most of his time there on bed rest. Excellent cozy spot to check out local attractions! Owners communicated very well and were responsive and accommodating. The place had everything we needed for our stay.

Highly recommend!

This cottage was perfect for us! It was totally spotless, very well stocked, and the décor was adorable. Pictures truly don’t do this place justice…… it was super cute. Best of all though was how responsive and accommodating the Polites were. I received immediate responses to my communication through the app and they were extremely helpful and bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. I would highly recommend this place!

Nice Quiet Getaway

Check in was easy. Pictures do not do this place justice. Very clean. Very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, coffee, trash bags, dish soap, linens, blow up mattress, extra pillows, blow dryer, fan, washer/dryer, etc. We were 7 min from H‑E‑B, less than 15 from Fiesta Texas, and 30 min to Riverwalk. Would definitely recommend this property.

Baby Moon?

The pictures on the listing are accurate but the description is a little misleading. The cottage house itself is cute and clean. Our communication with the owners throughout our stay was excellent, they made themselves available. With this stay being our Baby Moon we were looking for some place to relax, however, that was not our experience. The cottage sits across the driveway from the owner’s residence, they have 3 dogs that are not very welcoming (aggressive barking at us). The neighbor’s fence comes right up against the cottage, all 3 of their dogs will provide a 5:30a wake up call each morning. The neighbors on the other side of the property also have 2 large dogs that are aggressive. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this might not be the place for you. We are not mad at the owners as they did their absolute best in communicating to their neighbors to quiet their dogs down.

Best you can ask for!

We brought three dogs (not tiny ones), extended our stay without issues and had a great time. This is a very dog friendly and people friendly place! Photos are accurate and any question we had was easily and quickly resolved by information in the VRBO or by contacting the Polite's. Easy to walk neighborhood, VERY friendly to dogs, lots to do and easy access to San Antonio. We will be back. The Polite's are the best!

Beautiful home and location

My husband and I were blown away, after having an awful experience with our last vacation rental we were pleased with the level of cleanliness, the beautiful drive to the location, and the warm welcome and continued communication from the Polite's. Our dogs loved it too! We will definitely be back.

Best Stay Ever!!

There are no words to describe how pleased we were with this property. The location was amazing, nestled in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and close to San Antone. The amenities provided were above and beyond, I am an over packer but ony next trip all I'm bringing is me! This property was stocked with all necessities and essentials from coffee creamer, to shampoo to Laundry Soap. Ladies, when you walk into the bathroom and there are the little cotton rounds you use to take off makeup?! I mean come on, stocked is an understatement, they provided so much it made our stay unbelievably comfortable. The hosts were great at answering messages I sent through the app and very friendly when we passed in the driveway. Last but not least this little cottage was gorgeous! It's beautifully decorated and spotless! Will absolutely book here again in the future and highly recommend to all.

Texas Hill country respite

Sunflower cottage is exactly what the picture show: clean, open, and has everything one could need for a wonderful stay. The Polite’s Give you as much space as you need to decompress which is exactly what I needed on this particular stay in San Antonio, my former hometown. Cannot recommend this property nor these property owners and hosts, enough!

Home away from home 😀 everything we needed for two days or two weeks!

This was one of the best stocked places we’ve ever stayed! We wanted to be in north San Antonio to visit with our kids who live there, we saw a “country side “ of the city, even deer roaming around at dusk and mornings. Very clean and private place and they allow pets! Definitely a fabulous place to stay!👏🏻👏🏻😀
