Located in the west end of Ramona’s Wine Country, this quiet retreat is minutes from Mt. Woodson golf course and incredible hiking trails, boutique wineries and just 35 miles away from all the best San Diego has to offer—including world-class beaches, LEGOLAND, Balboa Park, casinos and much more!
—The Chef's Kitchen is fully stocked with basics pantry items.
—Main bedroom includes outdoor patio area and dual shower and jetted tub.

Best Holiday Rental EVER!

My family & I stayed in this amazing property for 5 nights & fell totally in love with it. The pictures simply do not do it justice- from the size of the place (which is much bigger than it looks in the photos) to the sheer beauty of its surroundings. The grounds are beautifully kept, secluded & picturesque- so peaceful! We used the pool a lot, as well as the many seating areas around the property. We enjoyed watching the hawks, butterflies & even hummingbirds! The gas bbq is a great addition & we had several meals outside enjoying the fantastic views & sunsets. The house itself was immaculate & the owners left some really appreciated provisions- from shampoo, to toothbrushes, to condiments for meals. We have stayed in many holiday homes through VRBO & have never come across such attention to the needs of the guests. My family & I have made very special memories here & we hope to return time & again. What a very special place- I have no hesitation in giving property a 5 star rating!

Such a great find in Ramona!

We absolutely love when staying at this location when we're in Ramona! So private and beautiful - and Annie is an incredible host. She is always so quick to respond to any question we have. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking in the area!

Amazing views and fully stocked chefs kitchen

The house and property exceeded all of our expectations. It is the nicest rental that we have stayed in. From the gorgeous property to the emaculate and fully stocked chefs kitchen, it made entertaining for our event a breeze. We would love to rent again!

Family thanksgiving

We needed a place for our family to gather for the holiday. The home was very comfortable, and well maintained. It had everything we needed for making meals together and just relaxing. Spectacular views, peaceful and perfectly located. We had a couple questions and our host, Annie was very responsive. We would definitely meet up there again if the opportunity presents itself in the future. I’d highly recommend this rental.

Such an incredible property!

So excited that we were able to find this property. It was in such a beautiful, remote area. The house was clean and comfortable, and was a relaxing place to stay for a few days. Communication with the host before and during our stay was great. She was always prompt to respond to any questions we had, and was so helpful. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for their own private little oasis!

Mountain top paradise

Stunning, breath taking and everything you could want to get away from it all! The house had everything you need, and the space was perfect for 5 of us (kids 14, 12, 11). Annie was very responsive to our questions. We can't wait to come back! The pictures don't do this property justice!!

Oasis in the Desert Mountains

Great experience with our stay. The location is about 40-55 mins away from San Diego proper (and Del Mar or La Jolla), but it was well worth it to have a quiet place to escape to each night. There’s also a lot to do in the small towns nearby; check out Julian for pie and mining, as well as being about 20 mins away from the San Diego Safari Park. Annie was quickly accessible and responsible when anything came up. The house offers so many different outdoor seating areas; made mealtime fun and varied. The pool is a great way to relax, too. Cannot recommend this place enough if you need a space away from it all to escape for a while. FYI - bathrooms not photo’d, but the main bedroom has a stunning on-suite, as well as one of the Queen bedrooms. The third full bathroom is not on-suite, but still worked out well. Make sure you have a vehicle that can manage a short dirt road up to the property from the main road. Thank you so much for sharing this property!

Amazing family vacation!

The house is just amazing. No matter where you are in the house, you have spectacular views from sun up to sun down. It's very spacious and well decorated. It's was a big plus that 2 of the bedrooms have their own restroom. Annie was very responsive and so helpful from the time of booking to the time checking out.

Beautiful Property

The home and grounds of this property are gorgeous. Everything has been thought of. Kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance. Many wineries and hiking near by. Owner was very accessible. The sunsets were amazing. Hummingbirds flying around the grounds. Truly a nature lovers dream.

Excellent property - will stay again!

The photos do not even come close to showcasing the beauty of this property. Take in the sunsets out by the pool or enjoy breakfast on one of the outdoor seating areas. This was by far the best property we have ever stayed in. The house is equipped with everything you need. There are supermarkets within 10 minutes for groceries, and the owner of very attentive to any communication. Any issues we asked about were taken care of immediately. We will definitely be back!

What a fabulous property!

My family and I were in San Diego for a wedding. We were extremely impressed with this beautiful house and property! Everything about it exceeded our expectations! The house is exquisite and the grounds and pool are amazing! We all loved the location and although it seemed to be in a remote area it was a perfect location for where we needed to be!

Peaceful Retreat

We had a wonderful time enjoying our spring break in the heart of wine country. The home is situated on a hill overlooking the mountains. Every amenity was thought out and accounted for at the home. Coordination and communication was excellent. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home and view!

You can't find any place more beautiful to stay in the San Diego area than this. The home provided us with everything that we needed and the view was incredible. The location made it easy to get to San Diego and surrounding areas. Plenty of wineries nearby too. Would highly recommend.
