The view from the home is beautiful, you can see Mount Rushmore in the distance. Nice Hiking on the property and close to everything. Very Private, which is nice when you come back from a long day. Crazy Horse is also, close. The Badlands is about an hour and 15 minutes away.
We also live on the property but we will never bother you unless you need something. You have your own place and we have our own home.

Beautiful location, wonderful property

We had such a lovely stay here. The rooms were completely furnished with thoughtful amenities to help us further enjoy our stay. The property lies in a beautiful and remote location. Lisa and Mike showed us practical care and many personal kindnesses during our short holiday.

Gem in the Black Hills

The accommodations and hospitality were first rate. Nicely appointed with fun autumn touches. Location is ideal for seeing many attractions. And, words cannot describe the incredible view. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Place

Beautiful rental in the Black Hills. Well supplied with everything you might need. Central location to everything we wanted to see and do. Mike and Lisa were very nice and accommodating. They allowed us to hike on their property. Offered us eggs from their sweet chickens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back there again!

Best place ever!

My husband and I have stayed at numerous places and this one is the best places we’ve ever stayed at. Lisa and her husband have thought of everything you could possibly need or want. The place is beautiful and decorated so nice. The bed and linens are wonderful. The view on the back porch for morning coffee and breakfast are so peaceful. I can’t say enough good things about this vrbo. You set the bar high Lisa. Thank you for that. We didn’t want to leave

Lisa and Mike have a wonderful place in a perfect location in the Black Hills! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and their hospitality. Evenings on the deck was a perfect way to end each day after sightseeing. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

The perfect spot for Custer, Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and more!

My mother and I absolutely loved our stay! The location is beautiful, and it's rather fun to wake up, look through binoculars, and see Mount Rushmore glowing in the sunrise. Proximity to destinations from Rapid City to Crazy Horse to the Wildlife Loop in Custer is super. Sleeping arrangements are so comfortable that my mom now wants a new mattress like that in the bedroom, and I am having to rethink my belief that all sleeper-sofa mattresses are lumpy. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, cooking necessities, and dishware. The bathroom boasts a lovely, large shower. The owners are very communicative, and their kitty is simply delightful. We definitely would stay here again and most highly recommend it to others.

Loved it!

This was our honeymoon stay and we loved it!!! Beautiful, clean and the owners were some of the most welcoming and friendly people. We stayed for a week and although we traveled extensively, we loved coming “home” to this cozy little getaway. We want to make plans to return again and they will be our first choice!!

Wish I could have stayed longer

This place is perfect for a couple. Clean, attractive, surrounded by trees, easy to find. There is a nice balcony with a view of the far-away Mt Rushmore. The hosts were welcoming, informative, and responsive, and live next door. We had lots of privacy. The apartment is accessible via an outdoor staircase. My only tiny complaint is that I wish the toilet had a door for privacy. Nevertheless I would stay here again.

Quiet, clean and comfortable in the Black Hills

This property is nestled in the Black Hills forest. It has a beautiful view looking through the trees at Mount Rushmore. Mike and Lisa have put a lot of thought into their place, and it really shows by all the little extra things they provide. Their place is clean, quiet and comfortable. We were greeted at check in even though it was very late in the evening. The next morning, we were given tips and direction for things to see. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay, and it is centrally located to all the attractions.

Beautiful guest home

My husband and I vacationed in South Dakota at the beginning of October which was a beautiful time of year to visit. We wanted to hit the parks and touristy cities around the area during our stay and Keystone ended up being the perfect city to make home base and do day trips. This guest home was gorgeous and located away from the town. The furnishings in the guest home were stunning and the bed was so comfortable. You can really see Mt Rushmore from the deck and there were even binoculars if you needed. We wished we could have stayed longer and used the kitchen more but ended up doing most meals out. The TV was nice to be able to watch our shows each evening and the kitchen was stocked with just about anything you would need to cook with. We made coffee every morning and enjoyed the peacefulness. We were so cozy in this home away from home. Thank you so much for making our stay perfect!!!
