This custom log cabin on the lake is your perfect getaway anytime of the year. With a private dock and one-of-a-kind boat house, there's no better place to spend the lazy days of summer on the water or cozy up by the outdoor firepit on a cool fall night.

With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, this house is perfect for groups and families. It features a master suite on the main level with a King sized bed. Downstairs has three bedrooms: one with a King bed and attached bathroom, another with a King bed and beautiful lake views, and a third bedroom with double bunk beds perfect for kids of all ages. Also downstairs is an additional living room/game room with a (queen) sleeper sofa, TV and foosball table.

The lake cabin feel is carried throughout the home's interior, but the real show-stopper happens outside. In the terraced back yard you will find a stone patio with firepit overlooking the lake and down a few more steps is the unique boat house. The boat house has amazing views of the lake and a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and sink for all your entertaining needs.

Lake equipment and toys such as life jackets and kayaks are provided, as well as access to the dock, but BYOB-Bring Your Own Boat! (inquire about boat rental)

The house is centrally located on Lake Keowee, allowing a quick boat ride north to the waterfall, or south to the Tiki Hut and Marina. The Lighthouse Restaurant is located directly across the lake from the house. Beyond the lake, it is a 15 minute drive to Seneca and a 25 minute drive to Clemson and several hiking trails are located nearby.

very enjoyable, great view, great home

Anyone wishing for a beautiful home at Lake Keowee for a weekend (or if fortunate enough for an entire week) this would be the place. Lots of resting places...porches, around fire pit, down at the lake. Could not ask for a better place. Lots of room, very clean, beautifully decorated. Hope to return one day.

Love the lake canana

We love coming to lake Keowee for the lake This house has what we call a three sided cabana down at the lake with electricity, running water, a full size refrigerator, and grill. We spent most of our time down there fishing, cooking out, and playing cards. Great house for family time, with plenty of seating for everyone. We highly recommend this place!!

Outstanding

What a great home to stay in with your friends and family. All the linens were clean and fresh. The house was spotless and has everything you need. Full sized washer and dryer. Great deep water dock for swimming and docking your rented boat. The boathouse has seating and a bbq. Also a fridge. The homeowner was great and easy to get in touch with. I would highly recommend this home for your family It was a perfect week away. We would love to go back if they will have us!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and the view of the water was amazing. Having cocktails at the dock house in the evenings was fantastic. Richard was also a great host! I look forward to another stay in the future!

Beautiful retreat! Perfect home base for a Clemson tailgate.

This property was perfect for our long weekend adventure visiting our Clemson student! We enjoyed lots of fishing, kayaking and the amazing tranquility. Plenty of space for everyone. The beautiful and comfortable home had everything we needed and was so very clean.

Wonderful Time /Beautiful property

This property was exceptional. It had everything you needed. Views were fabulous. Loved the boat house as well as the swing. Nice quiet neighborhood easy access to town. The host was very responsive to all my questions and quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this home!!!!

Wonderful

The house had plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 4 children. We especially enjoyed hanging out at the boathouse and dock. The kids fished and went swimming and all of us enjoyed the kayaks. I highly recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise from the dock. It was breathtaking. Richard was an excellent communicator/host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our family. The house is large enough for everyone to have their own space. We spent most of our time on the back porch and at the boathouse. I liked that the house had gates on the porch and on the deck at the boathouse because we had 3 babies under 2 with us. We will definitely stay at the house again!

Local Stay

We planned a last minute lake trip for my husbands birthday. I’m so happy we found this place! A few members from each side stayed with us or would come to visit for the day. It was the perfect place and size, even the dogs got to come. It was a perfect place to get away. We spent the majority of our time enjoying the porch’s lake view or the dock house by the water. We only left the house for a grocery store run, which is about 20 minutes away. The location for the house is great as well. There are a few neighbors in the cove but they are not stacked too close like some places. This made our stay quiet and peaceful.

Relaxation

My family and I appreciated everything about this house….from the beautiful views of Lake Keowee, to the little boat house by the water, to the beautiful artwork within the house and the marks of how much the children/grandchildren of the owners on the interior walls. It felt like home here. Our favorite things were making family meals in the well equipped kitchen and gathering in the back porch, overlooking the lake to sit and chat. My personal favorite was lying in the hammock under a spring sky, reading in the sunshine. Thank you Rich for a wonderful respite.

Wonderful family Thanksgiving

We had a great time staying here as multigenerational families. We enjoyed local hiking and coming back to relax at the lake. The kids ate smores at the outdoor firepit. Despite it being November, we still used kayaks! We were able to cook an entire traditional Thanksgiving meal as the kitchen is so well stocked! Having 2 large tables to sit at was great! Owner was very kind and communicated easily! Would definitely return!

Serene Setting

While visiting my son at Clemson we took the opportunity to stay at Rich's lakeside retreat. The property is well decorated and equipped with all the necessary conveniences. My family enjoyed the ability to spread out and relax in comfort and enjoy the serene views. Would stay again.
