Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lago 1850. Perfectly situated close to the community pool with a view of the golf course. This home had everything we needed to accommodate us for a week. The two golf carts served us well and got us everywhere we needed to go. 3 out of 4 Bedrooms with ensuites was perfect for us and 4 teenagers. Open kitchen and living space made for a great atmosphere when we were altogether. A beautiful home away from home!

Great property!!

Our second time to stay in one of the Villa Lago properties. The location of the property is great for access to the San Destin conference area as well as the restaurants and shops. The golf carts are a great extra. We also made use of the beach toys.

Family vacation.

We really enjoyed the property. Very clean and convenient location to everything. My kids loved having their own rooms. Easy access to shopping, the beach, pool and the activities.

We really had a great time at this place! It was so nice and refreshing! Everything was clean, and there was plenty of room for everyone in our group! Great with Epic Fails!

The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. House and location are perfect however my vacation haven MVH is not very helpful. The first time walking into the house it smelled of dead fish and it took a day for them to send someone out. Not what you want to fall asleep too. Next the golf cart had a flat tire and the said they couldn't fix it until we left. It was over the holidays so I kind of understand but they did nothing to try and remedy it or refund anything. If you know this area the Golf cart is one of the main reasons people book those houses.

Exceeded expectations

A great place for our family of 9, with ages ranging from grandparents to teenagers. The condo was modern and clean upon arrival; well-equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of beach chairs. Golf carts were great! Location was about 8 minutes from beach (via golf cart) but very manageable, especially since we have older kids. Management was great! We received very timely responses to our questions and needs throughout the week. We highly recommend this condo and we will definitely return!

Everything went well. If you have more than 1 vehicle it is a little difficult to get golf carts out of the garage and park them in the driveway.

I’d give this property 6 stars if could! The property itself was clean, spacious and had everything necessary for our stay (even skewers for our grilled kabobs)! This property sets itself apart from others with having 2 golf carts (4 and 6 seaters) and it’s location. Steps from a fantastic pool the kids spent all day in…2 minute golf cart drive to Baytowne Wharf action/restaurants…and less than 10 minute drive to convenient gulf beach access with other amenities (restaurant/pool/etc). The whole trip exceeded our expectations with things to do without ever needing a car. I’d highly recommend this property and will be back again!

Family Fun

Loved this Villa. It was great for 3 families. Very roomy and clean. Beautiful golf course in the back. Close to the pool. The golf carts were perfect and the selection of beach equipment was very nice. It was a little far from the beach. And the discounts that were offered was not any good. I was also a little confused about the use of the Sandestin recreation areas. (Tennis, golf, workout facilities) I still loved the Villa and we all enjoyed our time there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Came to Sandestin in a previous year in the summer and then decided to go back with more of my family over a holiday. The stay was great. The house comfortably fit all of us and the convenience of having a bedroom on the first floor with a full bathroom was great for guests that may not want the fuss of stairs. It was comfortable, clean and the initial set up/welcome gift that the property management provides was sufficient for our Wednesday-Sunday stay (minus paper towels but that is to be expected) The location was a short golf cart drive to the Baytowne and the golf cart parking made everything so convenient. We will definitely be back in the summer again to take advantage of the community pool and the beach!

No upkeep, no dryer, AC doesn't work

Avoid for sure. Villa Lago is a great part of Sandestin but this unit is terrible. The upstairs AC didn’t work, we spent 45 minutes figuring out that the super secret on/off switch (under the seats) for the golf carts, and the dryer was broken (heating element had died). We told management about it the morning of day 2 of our stay and when we left on day 5 it was still not fixed. It was clearly an issue they knew about before and hadn't fixed, so don't expect to have a working dryer in this unit.

Garage Door

We had an issue with accessing the garage that we called on Friday about and was not resolved until Monday evening. It was extremely frustrating and we kept getting told that they were working on options. The management group even called a locksmith and wanted us to pay for it. Very disappointed in the service this year.
