Adorable peaceful studio in Arcata with walking distance to the plaza. Furnishings include a queen sized hybrid bed, cotton sheets, hypoallergenic pillows, full bathroom with shower and porcelain bathtub and toilet, large retro mini fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster oven, double burner infrared hot plate, dishes, pots and pans, coffee press, hot water kettle, water filter, silverware, bath & beach towels, desk, small dining table, chairs & cushions, Smart TV. The beautiful, newly renovated private studio is set up with all amenities for a relaxing getaway. The studio is 300 square feet with a large fenced-in yard. Enjoy the private grassy yard with patio furniture and gardens. 2 Cruiser bicycles are available for guests.
The studio is in a quiet neighborhood close to hiking trails, beaches, Arcata Plaza and Cal-Poly University. Arcata has ample excellent dining & coffee shops, shopping & yoga studios. Guests will surely find activities to entertain, and a thorough guidebook with many helpful local recommendations is inside the studio.
This private studio has a fenced, furnished courtyard and is in a family friendly neighborhood. Your host lives in the main house.
There are walking trails for running and biking with close proximity to Arcata downtown. Arcata is a progressive town with contemporary art, coffee shops, 5-star dining, beautiful, serene beaches and ancient Redwood forests. Arcata is home of Humboldt's Cal/Poly University and has ample beautiful rivers and nature to explore. A perfect getaway for 1 to 2 guests!

Quiet, peaceful, clean

Very pleasant and quiet neighborhood. Rental very clean and very reasonably priced. Only thing to fault is need to be careful not to overload electrical circuit. Could not get IPad to charge, but able to charge it at my daughter’s campus apartment. However, the WiFi worked well and I throughly enjoyed my stay.

Cozy and comfortable

This place proves that good things come in small packages! This was a super comfortable place to stay while visiting my daughter. It was great to be able to bring my dog, but I will say the lay out is more suited to smaller breeds. Comfortable cleans and cozy.

Clean & cozy

This space is clean & private, excellent for one person, would be tight for 2. Everything is well-marked and easy to figure out. There is a binder with thoughtful suggestions of where to eat and what to do in the area as well as a bicycle to use around this bicycle-friendly town. The private yard is a little soggy though was welcome given the sunshine we got in the morning. Many thanks.

Overnight stay

We stopped over for a single night but everything was better than expected. Great price for the comfort and cleanliness. The bed and entire facility was extremely well furnished and very comfortable. We had a great nights sleep which is exactly what we needed. One of the cleanest and well kept facilities I’ve stayed at for the price.

Charming and peaceful

This rental is perfect for one person or a couple! Very thoughtfully appointed with amenities and very private. The neighborhood is beautiful and surrounded by little parks and trails, and is very close to Murphy’s grocery store and Cal Poly Humboldt. I honestly have zero complaints about my stay here and would recommend it for anyone visiting Arcata. Very lovely experience!

Stayed here for Humboldt family weekend and it was very walkable to school and to Arcata. Great, quiet neighborhood and the place had a secluded backyard. Everything you need was there in the galley kitchen, and it was a comfortable stay. Loved the local cat!

Sweet little studio

This darling tiny guest house was impossibly well stocked and supplied, spotless and sweet. And unusual for a property of this size, there was a bathtub! A long soak was heaven after hiking for days. Communication with the owner was easy and very fast, and I felt very safe and private. There is a little garden spot to sit out with a book or a drink, and if you're lucky, you'll be visited outside by the cuddliest cat you'll ever meet. Thank you for a cosy, friendly stay!

Just what I needed - and more

I just needed a place to crash for the night so this cute tiny home was a great value. Upon arriving I met the property cat, Papaya, who was so friendly and cuddly I didn’t want to leave.

Cute, Private and Clean

My stay at this "tiny" house was very enjoyable. It is perfect for one person. The private entrance and fence made me feel safe and secure. The added space of the entry room and the outdoor courtyard gave me space to stretch out. The Wifi was fast enough for me to do some remote design work. Very nice touches such as tea, coffee, creamer and honey. I will stay here again when visiting Arcada.

The unit is “as advertised “ although pictures don’t do it justice. It’s very clean and decor was nicely thought out. Just a cute, quiet, private place. Instructions are easy and well presented.

Lovely little place

It was a lovely place that the owner clearly has devoted some time and energy to fill with chic decor and art work, with sweetly scented nontoxic lotions, soaps and hair products and quality linens. It is a converted shed and the walls are paper thin, but it's on a very quiet street.

Small housing at its best

Really enjoyed my stay, at this beautiful, peaceful retreat while I visited my daughter. Comfortable, quiet with a lovely sun room. The place was well supplied for all my needs. Communication was excellent prior and during visit with lots of detailed instructions at property. Highly recommend

So freaking cute!

Loved my stay here. Cute little tiny home, with really cute decor. Perfect spot to do some yoga in the sun room, and drink coffee in the morning. Great launch point for the adventures in the area like the redwood forests or moonstone beach, or a stopover to get to the river.

Cozy place in Redwood Country

This spot was cozy, comfortable and located near A LOT of parks - local, state and national. Host was great with communication on check-in, the place was clean, and a joy to stay at. Great base for my trips to various parks. Loved my stay, would do so again.

My name is Sadhana. I live on the property in Arcata with my children ages 9 and 24. We enjoy gardening, hiking, art and yoga. I am originally from an island off the coast of Maine. I have a background in teaching and am a leather jewelry designer.

A nice, eco-friendly private retreat close to local attractions and nature. Our neighborhood is quiet, family friendly and has beautiful gardens, trees and a nearby creek.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The studio is close to beaches, downtown Arcata, and several Redwood hiking trails. I use only eco~friendly cleaning products. I take great pride in maintaining my space and creating a home-like sanctuary for guests to enjoy and rejuvenate in.
