Bienvenue dans notre magnifique maison. Nous sommes situés dans le magnifique développement de Laurelwoods au Big Boulder Lake Resort, dans les Poconos Mountains, dans le lac Harmony situé près des domaines skiables de Jack Frost Big Boulder. Nous vous demandons de nous contacter pour les tarifs corrects. Nous avons une belle maison en rangée avec trois chambres, mezzanine et terrasse privée, idéalement située à Big Boulder Ski Mountain et à proximité de tous les équipements collectifs, notamment du Mountain Lake Club & Pool.

We had a fantastic vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Lake Harmony home. It was clean, well appointed, and close to everything. We went white water rafting in Jim Thorpe, kayaking in the Delaware Water Gap, and spent many enjoyable days hiking and swimming at Hickory Run State Park. We highly recommend renting this home and enjoying all the Poconos have to offer.

Wonderful family time

This was our second time at Big Boulder Lake and we had a wonderful time. Penny’s and Richard’s house is spacious and incredibly clean and only 2min from lake and pool which we enjoyed very much. All the deer sightings so close to the house was a daily highlight. The house is conveniently located for hiking, swimming, kayaking, minigolfing and so much more. We hope we’ll be back again next summer.

Summertime in Lake Harmony at Boulder Lake

We had a wonderful time staying at Laurelwoods at Big Boulder. We enjoyed using the Boulder Lake Club beach where we stored our kayaks for the week and enjoyed time out on the lake and dipping in the pool. The Boulder Creek tavern has good food, drinks and live music! We were greeted by a family of deer each day while on the back deck! They love apples! Great trip! Great house. We’d love to use again. 😊

Lovely, comfortable house

The house is very well kept, with everything you need for a restful stay available. We especially love the deck off the main floor. Elevated above the back woods in the most quiet area of the development. The deer visit several times a day, which is great for kids to see. Also a great place to hang out at night. The stars were amazing on a clear night!!!!!

Family vacation

Our family had a lovely & relaxing vacation in a very beautiful home. Rich & Penny were always there to answer any questions I may have had & also recommended things to do & places to visit. The pool & lake beach was just a short distance from the house & checking in at the club house was very efficient. Plus, there is a great restaurant right there too (I recommend the boneless wings & the Bavarian pretzel, Yum!). If you’re looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend looking into this home. Beautiful and very clean home with everything you need!

Penny and Richard were very quick to respond to any questions I had right from booking. They were so easy to chat with. The home itself was beautiful, had everything we needed and was so clean. Personally, the jetted tub was my greatest spot in the house! The home fit our large family well and gave everyone space to spread out. Ironically there were tv's in each room but for the most part we didn't turn them on. We were just content to relax together. Obviously the kids all enjoyed hooking up their game consoles and didn't miss a beat but it was perfect that they had their own so they could enjoy themselves too. The location was not walking distance to the club but a short drive. Unfortunately it was cool during our stay until the end of the week and when it was finally warm enough the lake was closed due to high bacteria but Penny and Rich let us know right away. I truly appreciated them letting us know. Ofcourse it was all out of our hands but it didn't dampen our trip. We enjoyed everything around us. One of our highlights was the #9 Coal Mine. If you are looking for an amazing experience with history and science we ALL suggest you visit the mine. It was truly an awesome experience! Thanks again to Penny and Rich for sharing their home and I hope to have the pleasure of staying again.

A lovely house! We had a great stay!

The house is great, very clean and well equipped. The back deck is an excellent spot to spend time, day or night. So nice to look out into the woods and watch the deer when they come to visit. Penny and Rich are very attentive and you can see how they care for their visitors.

Perfect for the family!

My family and I had a wonderful week! Check in was super easy, directions were clear and Rich and Penny answered all questions very promptly. The house was extremely clean and we felt very comfortable in it. There was enough space to spread out, relax, play games and watch movies as a family. The kitchen contained anything you could ask for and more and the deck provided plenty of opportunities to watch deer pass by. It’s only a 3min drive to the lake and the pool is located right next it which was perfect for our daughters who enjoyed both every day. We hope we’ll be able to come back soon!

The pictures did nothing for this property . When we arrived it was even better in person. This house was so cozy, clean , and nice . The house was well equipped with everything that you made need . This is the nicest rental we've stayed in. Very cozy, clean, and nice amenities. Love how much the fireplace warms it up. Beautiful views of the lake during the winter. Also love how the sun comes through the big windows. Very close to Big Boulder ski resort. Kitchen is better-appointed than most. Love the hot bu. Also a good value.

Lovely Fall Escape at Rich & Pennys Lake Harmony

We (2 adults and 2 toddlers) had a week long stay at the property at the peak of Fall 2020. Thx to Rich, we had a smooth stay. Communication was easy and responses were quick. In our experience, Rich was extremely accomodating (we were on the verge of cancelling the trip 3 days prior due to my 6 year olds school scheduling changes ...Rich was ready to accommodate a full refund even at the last moment...luckily we were able to work something out with the teacher and still stick to our vacay plans). The property itself was clean, warm & cozy, perfectly located within 15-45 minutes driving distance to many hiking and biking destinations. My kids loved the stocked games & books collection. We spent our evenings playing scrabble and battleship and ended the night with book readings ! I highly recommend this property and would certainly go back.

A home away from home

Husband and I spent a week in October during the peak of fall foliage and it was absolutely perfect. The condo itself is lovely, very cozy, homey and extremely clean with a gas fireplace, huge jacuzzi tub and fully appointed kitchen. A friend drove over from NY and spent a couple days with us and she had the entire upstairs to herself. We spent a lot of time at Hickory Run state park availing ourselves of the well maintained hiking trails. It was a perfect spot for a fall getaway.

Beautiful house

The house was gourgous and extremly clean with plenty of activites nearby. The house came stocked with all the basics you would need and we actually enjoyed the added security of bringing our own sheets. The lake club was beautiful and the kids had a blast. The house came full stocked for plenty of bored and card games as well as a plethora of DVDs for if you want to just stay in. Overall everything thing was lovely and me and my family plan on coming again😁.

The two of us just love this area. Penny & I enjoy hiking/walking kayaking biking & cross-country skiing. I think the best is just to be able to slow down and enjoy the view.

When we arrive back in the Poconos it's like we are taking our coat's off. We enjoy meeting up with old and new friends at local restaurants (which are the best) beach and ski mountain.

Please remember when you stay with us you are staying with family not a business just concerned about profit. We just want to share what we enjoy so much about the Poconos so you can feel the same and want to return.Our

We choose this property because of the perfect location in a townhouse community. We are an end unit with space between our neighbors and great views of the lake and ski mountain during the winter months. During the summer months we are surrounded by mature trees. So, in the fall we are wrapped by golden colors. How can you not love it. We picked this community for access to skiing the lake club. Plus having nightly security.
