Charming and quaint, this restored island home will make you smile! Located just outside downtown, this home is close to everything! Just a short walk to the carnival grounds and to historic downtown. Perfect location if you want to be near the action. With a cute little yard and an outside shower this is a great rental for children and pets. Please ask about our cancelation policy. 60 day cancellation prior to occupancy date (100% refund minus processing fee, travel insurance and credit card fee's). ( NO WASHER/DRYER) Pet friendly home $75. per pet fee will be added to your reservation. This home is not providing linens or towels. Please bring your own or call us to rent them.

Sunny, quiet, and centrally located

We loved staying at Always Sunny -- it was the quiet break we needed. The kitchen has everything we needed and it was easy to get around by bike to everywhere in town. It was nice that there's an outdoor shower and a hose to keep the house clean of sand. It really felt like a home away from home, and we would stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in and check out very easy. House was very sweet, air conditioning was very good. Was walking distance the fireman carnival and fireworks. House was clean and comfortable. The outside plantings were a bit disappointing they were over grown and wild. But overall I'd stay here again it met all our needs

I suspect the owner is paying someone to clean the property between visits. The owner is getting ripped off. There were huge dust bunnies in every corner and the front porch is where spiders come for their annual convention. The house itself could be cute and cozy if it were cared for. Location is good. Close to town, easy bike ride to beach.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was not very clean spider webs everywhere and lots of spiders. Weeds around the front door make it un-usable and the weeds by the back door that get caught in the door.

A group of friends and longtime Chincoteague fans returned to the island after 2 or more years away. A much-needed vacation for all in a fave destination with homey comfort in this rental.

Fun but buggie

However, there was lots of bugs to deal with. Tons of ants, which is expected in summer months but also one bedroom had a large amount of beetles which came out of the windowsill and onto the bed, not ideal for sleeping.

Great House Great Value

The bed in the master bedroom is possible the most comfortable bed I have come across in all the rentals I have stayed at. AC works very well (2 Zones)to keep the house cool. Great house for a family of 4 plus a pup, but can accommodate at least 7 Already looking at booking it again next year.

We had to sweep and mope the kitchen floor when we first arrived. We recognize the difficulties of finding cleaning help at this moment in time.2. The kitchen was very small and didn't have everything I needed. We eat in mostly and I found it difficult to cook it the small space.That said, I realize the prize was quite low so expecting can't be too high. We had what we needed and we had a good time! This house would work best for those on a budget, those who aren't planning to do much cooking and aren't clean freaks.

OK for cost

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife liked unit more than I. Bed in master is developing a valley in middle so that's not great. AC was fine but there are window units to augment main units. It can take a few days to get used to the noise. Living area is comfortable but for me I'd rather pay a few hundred more and get a newer place with a water view.

2021 Beach Trip

Reviewer Comments: We have rented from Harbour Rentals for years and this the first property that rates Satisfactory-the floor had never been to swept or mopped, we Swiffered the first day and all three pads were black.Very small stove, we like to cook our meals. We brought our dog this time and this was the only one available that allowed pets. We do have other favorites!

Willow Street Living at the Always Sunny House

The A/C unit gave us some trouble but we figured it out. The grounds outside need work. Weeds everywhere. The grass got cut three days after we arrived. Very dog friendly though.
