Captains Quarters is a modern self-contained 1 bedroom accommodation set on main the main level, with its own private entrance. enjoy the sunrises across the harbour from any of the rooms or from the large wrap around deck to the front with stunning Harbour and Ocean views.
The accomodation is set in a quiet community close to Halifax and the highly acclaimed Crystal Crescent beach and local trails.
The accommodation is ideal for couples but can easily accommodate a 3rd person if required by using the Delux self inflating air mattress or comfortable couch.
The accommodation is a short walk to the wharf and local beach where guests can enjoy the beauty of the sea and views of the harbour any time of year. It is a great location for swimmers, Water sports such a s Kyacks and sailing and popular for fishing. In the summer we have Ice cream at the Wharf and in the Autumn we offer Hot Chocolate and cookies.
The accommodation benefits from a walk in shower, full kitchen with dishwasher and open concept kitchen, lounge and dining room with a breakfast bar and wine cooler/ It offers ocean views from every room, Heat pumps and Air conditioning make the accommodation cozy or cool depending on the seasons requirements and guests can enjoy a Woodburning stove for a cozy night in whilst relaxing. watching the views or TV
Ketch Harbour has been a very popular destination choice for guests due to it's quiet location yet set in a location that enables guests to explore Nova Scotia tourist attractions such as Peggy's cove, Lunenburg, Halifax waterfront and the bay of Funday to name just a few. Crystal crescent beach is only a short drive away and has been voted one of the best beaches Nova Scotia offers with Crystal clear waters and many hikes around the area
It has its own private entrance and Free off road parking. High Speed internet is complimentary so you can browse or work from home.
We also offer a gas BBQ, a fire pit and have 2 Kyacks available for guests (subject to availability and T&Cs)
We do have outside security cameras mainly for wildlife (we have Bears, Deers, Racoons etc and other animals visit on the odd occasion)
