Imagine unwinding at the Jersey Shore in a charming two-bedroom, one-bath cottage just seven houses from the beach and two blocks from the bay! Located in the family-friendly, private community of Ocean Beach III in Lavallette, NJ, our cottage is the perfect escape for you.
It is a short stroll away from local restaurants, parks, playgrounds, a serene bay beach, an ice cream parlor, coffee shops, and unique boutique stores. Whether you’re here for a peaceful getaway or some family fun, you’ll have plenty of options within easy reach!

Please Note:

Linens, pillows, towels, and beach towels are not provided at this time. For convenience, guests may contact Jersey Shore Laundry in Lavallette for linen rentals. They offer in-store pickup/drop-off and delivery.
Weekly rentals only (Saturday to Saturday) are accepted during the summer months.

Beach badges are needed starting on Saturday, June 14, 2025 through Labor Day. Please observe the following:
Beach badges are sold separately at the Ocean Beach & Bay Club Office.
As a renter, you’ll be considered a temporary member, giving you access to all club facilities.

Beach Badge Requirements:
Renters must purchase a pack of 8 weekly badges for $175; additional badges are $40 each.
* Please note these are the 2024 fees, prices to be updated as soon as they will become available*
Badges are required for anyone 12 years and older.
Daily wristbands are available for $20 and can be purchased from badge checkers at the beach walkways.
Everyone must wear a badge when using any club facilities, including the ocean and bay beaches. Badges are also required for clubhouse activities.
Weekly badges can be ordered in advance by downloading the Beach Badge Application from the Ocean Beach 3 administration office, also available at 3305 Heron Lane, Lavallette, NJ.

Property Features:
Climate Control: Sensibo devices are connected to the A/C and heater mini splits to monitor air quality and adjust temperature when the cottage is vacant. Please use the wall-mounted remote controls for your preferred settings.
Security Features: For your safety, the property has a Ring doorbell at the front entrance and a Ring spotlight camera on the back patio. Motion alerts are turned off during your stay. No devices are located in private, sleeping, or concealed spaces, as per local laws.
Please remember this is a transient rental—a relaxing escape without a permanent residency arrangement.

Lovely cottage a stones throw from the ocean

I stayed here with a friend for an autumn weekend —very cozy with needed amenities and a thoughtful welcome package from the host. Communication/check in was easy. Cottage is a few minutes walk from the ocean.

Cozy cottage

We had a great weekend staying in your cozy little cottage! It was super clean, very comfortable, a short walk to the beach and close to everything!! Owners were easy to deal with and all of our questions were answered immediately! We had a great mini getaway! Hope to stay with you guys again!

Very pleasant stay

Updated, cozy, well-stocked and furnished thoughtfully for guests. Also nicely decorated without overcrowding the space. Easy communication with hosts. It was a beautiful and peaceful quiet time to be at the beach.

A nice getaway

We had a great time when we came for a weekend to do Christmas shopping in Lavallette. The house was clean, very cute/well decorated, and communication with the owner was easy. A nice touch was that they left a welcome note with little snacks and coffee pods. We had a really nice time and will save this property for the future!

When time stood still

We had amazing communication with the home owners. The house was beautiful and spacious. Well decorated which allowed you to escape the day to day busy schedules and relax. Being so close to amazing and breathtaking beaches made the stay better. The home provided chairs and other beach amenities which allowed us time to bask in the sun and take in the views. The beds were comfortable and the overall home was inviting. It provided the space, amenities and comfort we sought for our getaway. It was hard to say goodbye but we will be back again. We highly recommend this home and these owners to others.

Lovely beach cottage

Had a lovely stay here for a long weekend with my sisters! The house is nicely decorated and cozy, and is on the beach block in a quiet neighborhood. I will say that it is probably more suited to a young family or 2 -3 adults, as we were 4 adults and found the double bunk to be uncomfortable to get in and out of at our ages (50-60's some with with bad knees). The bottom bunk is very low to the ground which I didn't really notice when looking at the pictures before booking. Thankfully the couch worked out for us! Otherwise I would book it again for 2 people. The host was great and very responsive, all in all a great stay!

Wonderful relaxing stay

The cottage is cute and includes many amenities (beach chairs, outdoor shower, grill, washer and dryer.) The location is great and It’s just a 2 minute walk to the beach. I can’t wait to return again!

This beach cottage was outstanding! The cottage was clean, nicely decorated, well equipped and just downright adorable in a subtle beachy way. The hosts were great and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy in every way possible. Could not have been a better 3 weeks!

We had a wonderful week in this adorable cottage. It was spotless & smelled fresh and clean as soon as we walked in. Only steps away from the beach! Perfect location, cozy, clean & so convenient! Owners were so nice too and even left treats upon arrival. This is my fourth rental house at OB3 and our favorite by far!

Wonderful cottage!

We came for a quick weekend for my mothers 84th bday! The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well stocked! The host was amazing and answered all my questions so quickly! We had an amazing time and wished we could have stayed longer! My mother said it felt like home! We will be back!

Beautiful bungalow

I’ve been home for a week and I just keep wishing I was back at the cutest bungalow ever! This bungalow had everything we needed for a nice little weekend away. The modern updates were amazing. The homeowners didn’t skip a beat when it came to preparing their guests. The short walk (less than a minute) to the ocean was the icing on the cake! So glad we found this little gem and hope to be back in the future! =)

Book this home!!

I cannot say enough great things about this home! From the first contact I had with the owner, everything has been wonderful. The communication was great, the property is soooo close to the beach and the home is spotless!! We vacation in Disneyworld several times a year and this home absolutely felt like staying in a Disney resort, just beautiful!! I would absolutely stay here again. If you have any doubts about booking, just do it, you wont' regret it!

Home away from home

I am originally from NJ but have lived in Colorado for 22+ years…it was uncomfortable and not always a great experience staying in hotels during my visit back home… since I have staying in VRBO’s my experience has been upgraded.. my most recent stay was comfortable, clean and welcoming… communication with homeowner was prompt and friendly. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

Our family chose the Jersey Shore for a winter break getaway vs the hustle and bustle of “where everyone else is”. We found this perfect cottage on the site and it was far and away the best property in the region for the price and location. The owner was very communicative from the start and ahead of us at every step to make sure all we needed to do was show up. The place itself is warm, cozy, and modern from floor to ceiling. The locals who live in close proximity…and there were few this time of year…made us feel at home during chats on the beach or around town. We can’t wait to stay here again…hopefully this summer.
