Cozy Historic Home Located in the Heart of Denver - Private Home Gym!

Tied to one of Denver's most influential builders who built Denver's iconic Union Station, you'll truly appreciate the history and character of this home. Our guests get to experience firsthand our home's cozy historic charm, eclectic furnishing, and inviting design. Located in the heart of Denver, this home offers easy access to Pearl Street, Downtown Denver, and much more.

This unique home comfortably sleeps 4 adults. Including multiple workstations (monitors included) and a private home gym, it makes for a perfect work-from-home environment. The house has an evaporative cooler for use in the warm summer months (not central air).

Layout:
Kitchen is on the lower level, and access to the backyard is through the main bedroom.

Bed configuration:
Main Room - Queen
Bedroom 2 - Queen (fold-down)

We provide a range of amenities to make your stay comfortable, including 1.5 towels per occupant, starter toiletries, and initial cleaning supplies.

Routine property maintenance may occur during your stay, such as trash collection, hot tub/pool cleaning, yard work, and plant care. Plant care is scheduled for Fridays to care for several live plants (around 12:15). They will ring the doorbell before entering.

Please note that the jets in the tub are not operational.

No pets are allowed at this property.

For extended stays, a mid-stay inspection is required every 30 days. This will be an additional guest expense of $25/inspection. Mid-stay cleans are available upon request at guest expense.

Interesting place

Great location! The house has an unusual (for us) style. We'd read about the "clutter" so we were prepared for that. Plenty of comfortable floor & chair seating, but only 3 spots at a counter made it a challenge for us to eat there. It was very clean. We loved all the plants & the light in the upstairs areas & the downstairs living room, but the cave-like downstairs bedroom was a little claustrophobic & very crowded. Outside space, both front porch & back patio were nice for spending time in the sun. Our daughter used the exercise room a few times during the 4 days we were there. Last comment - we arrived very late at night & while the door code worked fine, we found it difficult to actually enter the house since the light switches were never where we expected them to be. Actually had to use the flashlight feature in our phones to get around that first night. It was an interesting place to stay, though we'll likely look for some other spot the next time we come.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great neighborhood, and the decoration style is eclectic and funky (in a good way!) It was a bit cluttered for my taste. Loved having a full kitchen and two full baths. The jets in the upstairs bathtub didn't seem to work, but that could have been user error. Overall very comfortable and a nice place to stay during our Denver vacation!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The neighborhood is GREAT. So many places and parks to walk to. The places is decorated in a way that is aesthetically pleasing, but a bit cluttered when actually staying there - there is limited surface and walking area due to all of the stuff. The layout is unconventional and a bit awkward, and the downstairs kitchen and bedroom lack any natural light. It’s a really cute place with a great location, but not quite right for us, functionally.

The location is great, only 10 minutes by car to downtown and the quiet location with small restaurants and parks nearby is perfect for us.The small and very nice, clean garden behind the house invites you to linger.We didn't use the fitness room in the garage, but it seems to be well equipped for sporty people.The house offers a lot of seating for many people, there is an armchair or stool everywhere. Unfortunately, there is no dining table, which we missed. We could only use the bar to enjoy our breakfast. The second desk with the monitor could have been removed and space for a dining table could have been made instead.The heating worked well and reached the desired temperature relatively quickly. However, we had to reduce it at night because it was clearly audible.The service from VRC was always good during our stay and questions were answered quickly. The big bed was a dream and the many plants made it seem very cozy!In short, we would book again anytime!

Perfect place in a Great Neighborhood…

We stayed three nights and enjoyed this duplex. Clean, quiet, spacious with everything we needed. Instructions were plentiful and owner communications were just enough. We had an issue with the alarm system and response was fast with resolution the same day. It is noted the parking is street parking, but we did not have any issues. We will stay here again.

Very cute place to stay!

This house is a cozy little duplex on a very cute street! Really close to the farmers market on pearl street, and restaurant & shops! Felt very safe for our girls trip. However, one of the beds is sort of a pull out couch. Really tight room because there is a lot of furniture in this house, tables & chairs are everywhere. It’s a really cute place to stay but barely sleeps 4 people!

Cool Cluttered Hippie Houste

The property is in a perfect location one block from extremely walkable S. Pearl Street area. Bars, Restaurants and shopping area. 2 blocks from the area Metro Station, 18 minutes to Union Station in the heart of downtown. The house is older, and the basement is odd, but good. Property needs some TLC. Carpet cleaning on the stairs, clean up the porch and backyard as well as clean up the garage where the work out area is. The listing has some accuracy issues: 1.Air conditioning and that is not accurate, they have an evaporative cooling system that does not cool the basement. There are floor fans and little inverter type mobile coolers that are marginally useless. We muddled through, but it was hot. Parking- garage is not available so there is no dedicated parking which on the weekends is tight!!!

My husband and I rented the house for 8 days for a visit with our son and his family, including our 2-month old granddaughter. The house was decorated with an eclectic, bohemian flair. The front two rooms were virtually unusable with uncomfortable seating. As has been mentioned earlier, this is not a house for children: too much untouchable items. However,?lthe house worked perfectly for my husband and me. Location near South appears is unbeatable. We didn’t love the house’s layout, with the kitchen and only usable family room downstairs. In short, the house worked well for the two of us, but not sure it is for everybody. By the way, the house was very clean and very well stocked. Downstairs bed was not very comfortable. Overall, a great house for the right tenant.

Denver Getaway

The house was amazing. The decor was super eclectic and the vibe of the house was amazing. The location to Pearl Street couldn’t have been better and you were super close to a Whole Foods as well. The only thing I would upgrade is the bed in the bedroom downstairs. Overall the place was spectacular.

The only thing that you guys might mention on the description is that the place isn’t suited for small children. It took some effort to keep our son in his lane - off the antiques, off the stairs. Great Location

Overall very positive. Great location and the downstairs was great. The house has too much "stuff" in general and the the front living areas weren't really usable. The sink in the downstairs bathroom drains very slow. The 2 story sun room is a great feature. We would suggest simplifying the furnishing particularly for the front entry rooms and the bedroom downstairs.

The location was right by the cute area of S Pearl- lots of food and cute shops! The host was communicative and let us check in a couple hours early. Very clean and properly stocked with necessities plus more. We will definitely be reaching out to come back next time we are in Denver!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, such a unique and warm home. Great location, a block away from S Pearl St shops, restaurants and the most amazing Sunday am Farmers Market! Nice outdoor area for warm days! We will definitely stay here again!

So BOHO and CUTE but needs a little TLC

The lawns need a clean and manicure, as does the front porch. Wasn’t as clean as it should have been inside for the cleaning fees you pay! Kitchen was also missing essential cleaning supplies and it was not clean in the kitchen. Spider webs thruout and broken curtain rod… otherwise very very cute and cozy and in a great location!!! Decorated so cute and my daughter loved it!

The plants added a sense of home, which you don't often get when you're staying in a vacation rental. Many feel boring and stale, but not this one. Very close to multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. The neighborhood was quiet and great for evening walks.
