Bourbon Trail Tour

Property was beautiful, large, and comfortable. Perfect location to go to Louisville and Lexington. Very clean and nicely appointed. A couple of items needed fixing or adjusting but unlikely the owner would have noticed until I pointed them out. Hannah is very quick to respond. Don’t hesitate to book.

Absolutely Adorable home and a cute little town. Perfect place to stay with a small group of friends

Our group of six thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this adorable home. It was a perfect place to stay while touring the area and visiting a wide range of distilleries. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone

Charming historic shelbyville

I booked this home for my son and some friends who were all in town for a wedding. The house was perfect. Very good location and much bigger than we expected. We were all very comfortable with our accommodations and Hannah was the BEST hostess!! She was able to allow early check in on arrival and late check out to coincide with many different flight and travel itineraries of all our guests. We can’t wait to return to this quaint home and town for a bourbon tour next trip!

Get place for a family get away

We loved the home and the touches and updates were amazing. Next time we will take advantage of the large kitchen to have more family meals at the home.

Shelbyville House

Beautiful 1900s home in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for 3 couples. Two large sitting rooms, separate upstairs mini-kitchen, and a charming backyard to relax in. Perfectly located to branch out to the distilleries. 25 minutes from Churchill Downs. Loved it!!!

Wonderful Home in a Great Area!

We absolutely loved this home, a unique floor plan that suited our group perfectly, allowing for plenty of privacy but also plenty of room to all hang out together. Located in a super cute area with perfect access to all the bourbon tours. The home had everything we needed and was furnished so nicely. We felt so comfortable we didn't want to leave!

Cute Home!

The home is super cute, and spacious. Very much attention to detail in the small things, lots of extra towels, and toiletries. The beds were super comfy, and even had chargers to charge your phones on the nightstands. The only thing I didn't know about was all the stairs. One bedroom downstairs, the other two are up two flights. There is no railing on the entrance to the house's stairs, and a few screws from the previous rail was sticking out of the stairs. I stepped on it once and learned my lesson. Other than that, it is a super cute rental, and I would def rent again!

Charming home, enjoyable stay

This home is absolutely charming, has been updated and decorated to perfection. House is huge, plenty of space. Beds/linens were fantastic. We absolutely loved sitting in the upstairs sitting room in late afternoon with the sun coming through the big window. Several distilleries in area, not far to Louisville. Hannah the host is lovely, we met her when we had alittle door lock issue. She was quick to get us taken care of.

Charming stay!

This property was excellent in every way… location, space, cleanliness, updated, decorated well. Hannah was incredibly responsive and even proactive in trying to help us with our itinerary. The town is very charming and centrally located. Everyone we interacted with in Shelbyville was very engaging and nice. We really enjoyed our stay!

Shelbyville home

Great location for visiting the many distilleries in the area. Place was clean and well maintained. The host was very quick to answer any questions and seemed to genuinely care that we were comfortable. Highly recommended!

Bourbon Trial home base

Pros: Good location for traveling around the large area with distilleries and golf courses Clean Newer Spacious Nice bathrooms and beds Nice linens Good electronics Cons: Steep stairs with no railings inside and outside No microwave No cable TV. Only one streaming service on one of three TV’s. Nearly useless streaming service app. Poor choice based on what’s available. Only street parking. Second vehicle parked in back yard with no lighting or walkway. No ability to control the heat temp. Thermostat is on first floor in another apartment. Apartment is cold and drafty even when heat is on. Very noisy refrigerator, needs servicing. No ice maker. Only warm water, no hot water. Don’t look for any good restaurants in Shellbyville. There are none. House is in the middle of a transitional neighborhood. Nice, for what it is. Not sure it is worth the daily rate plus fees and taxes, but it served our purposes. Seems everything around the bourbon trail is over priced! Too much demand…. One of the nicer rentals we have stayed. Owner is very responsive and helpful. I would also say the front steps up to the front door can not be build to local building code. They are too steep, the treads are too narrow and there is no hand rail. This is disaster waiting to happen. Then a lawsuit would follow!

Perfect for our needs.

We loved our nice little upper level cottage. It was perfect for our needs. Located between Louisville and Lexington and easily reached to Bardstown and Williams town, this updated cottage is centrally located making it easy to go almost anywhere. It was recently renovated and decorated nicely. Can’t go wrong with this house.

perfect getaway in small town KY

My husband and I loved our stay here! Hannah was easy to communicate with and had all of the details covered. The space is beautifully decorated, our bed was super comfy, and the master bath. . perfection! Thanks Hannah!
