4th stay at Magnificent Starfish

This property is perfect for us because it has 2 king master suites for us and our travel buddies! It is not super high end fancy but very nicely furnished and decorated.A big plus is direct beach access for utv/at. We heard the powers that be are trying to ban utv/atv from the beach, if so this is probably our last tripđŸ˜Ș Of all 4 of our stays, we've never encountered any problems. This time however there was a bug problem, they said they were on top of it but the lite buggers were still there. We had trouble with the thermostat and not having face cloths. We called and it was taken care of right away. Unfortunately we didn't discover that the gas grill was not in working order until our last night. Everything you need except food and drink is provided. All in all, we had a great time playing on the beach and visiting our favorite pubs and restaurants. We definitely recommend Magnificent Starfish for your next stay!

Great Location!

The house was only a few steps to the beach. The elevator made it easy to transfer items to and from the house. Very spacious outdoor deck that was large enough for our entire family.

Wonderful Place, Wonderful Property

We had a fantastic stay. The home was beautiful, plenty of room, and an amazing porch that wraps around the house. You can see the sunrise in the front, and the sunset at the back. The lawn is well maintained, so there aren't hiding places for those awful bird sized mosquitos that call the area home, we hardly saw any in our week there. The beach is less than a stones throw away, and is essentially private in front of the house - there is about a 50 yard span between where our family and the neighbors would set up. The hosts were absolutely great, and incredibly responsive, excellent service with any questions we had. I certainly plan to return, and am beyond sad to have to depart.

Perfect beach home

This is our 2nd stay at the Magnificent Starfish for our girl’s beach trip. Location is perfect, literally steps from the beach. The home has everything you need and plenty of space. We had a couple of minor issues. The host was easily reached and issues taken care of promptly. Can’t wait to book our next long weekend !

Great location and great house!

Loved staying at this property! Everything was clean, house was in a great location, and the propane grill was an added bonus. Walk out your backyard and you are on the beach!

Beautiful, calm and relaxing

We had a perfect stay. The property is absolutely amazing and the outside areas were perfect. Having a quick rinse shower right when you get off the beach was great and the cargo lift made bringing our belongings in and out super easy. It was also a blessing for our mobility impaired senior dog. The high speed EV charger was super convenient and easy to use. Inside, the home is beautiful, spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The home’s layout allows privacy for everyone and never feels crowded. The neighbors are very outgoing and pleasant so you feel like you belong there, not like an outsider. The beach was clean and had so many beautiful shells and sea glass. Our son had a fantastic time exploring. There weren’t many people, so it was quiet and never crowded. We can’t wait to come back!!

Romantic house on the beach

First off, Starfish is right on the beach. Nothing like sitting on the deck listening to the surf roll in, watching the stars at night or the dolphins in the morning Very quiet park of the beach, we never had anyone in sight Comfy beds, new furniture. Starlink Marble floors Gas range Really big yard Nice big deck with amazing views

Great house and location

Another beautiful beach front home from Bolivar Vacations. Very clean and great location. Comfy furniture too! My only suggestions would be to supply some basic toiletries and extras such as shampoo and creamer for coffee. Nothing worse than getting in the shower only to discover no soap or shampoo then having to get dressed and go purchase these items that we didn't bring from home. I know the welcome letter said to bring toiletries but most VRBOs supply a small amount of soap for the shower and shampoo. I have owned a VRBO and these items are cheap and appreciated. Also suggest replacing the pillows on the king bedroom. We had a wonderful time on our stay. Would suggest moving checkout time to 11 am as most accomodations have this policy. We would stay again but we preferred Bella Luna as our first choice, however it was already booked.

2024 Family Vacation

Year 6 for our family to enjoy Bolivar Peninsula. The house we originally booked was not available due to the hurricane so Bolivar Vacations offered us The Magnificent Starfish instead. What an awesome choice for our family! The accommodations were spacious, clean, and perfectly decorated. We will definitely try and book this house next year.

Amazing House

We loved this house so much! We were able to do fireworks on the beach, see our tent in front of the house on the beach and leave it there. Our dogs LOVED it. We have an older dog and the cargo lift helped so much!

Great place! Very clean which is no easy feat on the beach. All that you could ask for!! Will definitely stay here again. I will add, the VRBO service fees did seem high.

Wonderful and relaxing!

We came for a slow down, hang out girls weekend and got just that!! The house was perfect! Plenty of space for all 6 of us, the elevator to haul your stuff up was amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed and more! Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Home on the Beach!

We felt so at home. It was comfortable, it was clean. It was beautifully equipped, and felt so good to be there. The Magnificent Starfish was just a few feet from the beach; we were constantly saying, "we couldn't imagine being anywhere else!"

The property is beautiful and in a good location. It is not in the middle of Crystal beach which is nice we will definitely come back again.
