Can't Wait to Use Again!

We booked this home for our adult children that came to visit us. The location was perfect. Easy to get to, ample parking, beautiful scenery. It had been decorated for Christmas which was very nice. Sue is a great host and answered all of my questions. We plan to book this again if it's available when we have guests. Highly recommend!

New house, great place, happy experience

The house is new, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything is convenient. Sue is a fantastic host. We enjoyed the stay very much. The only little thing that needs improvement is the internet is not very fast, but not a big deal.

Beautiful home and a great location

My wife, toddler son and I really enjoyed our stay at Sue's beautiful house. Perfect location between Telluride, Montrose and Ouray. Very Clean, with huge windows that let in a lot of light. On farm land with wild flowers growing all around. Excellent all around, would highly recommend for anyone

All you need

Sue and Mike went out of their way to help make our trip to Montrose perfect. We were there for a wedding and our house here was command central. Everything we needed was right here. So much like home, we got home with one of Sue's baking dishes as we have one just like it. Great hosts. Great house. Great location.

Wonderful

Love this house. Star gazing at night. Well thought, clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything, too bad we don’t cook for this short 2 days stay. If we even go by here, will definitely love to stay here again. The only suggestion I have is to have a couch facing the TV. We were watching the Olympic game sitting sideway.

Beautiful, very clean property and had every amenity needed for a fantastic stay. The views, especially the night sky and moon, were stunning from each room. The owner was thoughtful, responsive, and friendly. This is one of our top stays. We loved the proximity to the Black Canyon, Montrose, Ridgway, Ouray, and other spots. The owner also shared local recommendations which were appreciated.

Great location!

Wonderful hosts, thoughtful touches throughout the home to make it comfortable for their guests. The views were amazing from the mountains to the beautiful sunflowers on the property. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book with Sue again!

Beautiful home

The house was very clean and so cozy. It was decorated so cute and felt like home. The views were great and the house is just far enough away from everything that you get total peace and can still get to several local sites. Excellent property!

Magnificent

There couldn’t be two better hosts. I immediately felt at peace and relaxed! The views are incredible as well as the property itself. Getting to any thing that might bring you to the area is easy to access. It’s just off 550 and super quiet when sleeping. Each room has individual hvac so you can make it what ever feels comfortable to you. A truly magnificent experience. Thank you!

Colorado Gem - perfect peace with incredible views

We came to Colorado for a memorial. This home was perfect and exactly as listed. The views are incredible on all sides, all the comforts of home, and great location right on 550. Our host, Sue, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Definitely would choose to stay here again.

Perfect Home Base

This property was exactly as described in the listing. What a perfect location for a home base. Not too far from Ridgway and Ouray, as well as Montrose and Gunnison. Lots of day-trip opportunities all the way around. The home was well appointed. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. There were live plants and fresh-cut flowers, making the home warm and welcoming. We will be back. Thank you!

Absolutely Perfect!

Absolutely perfect! My wife and I and another couple rented the house for a vacation get away / hunting trip. Sue, the owner, was an awesome host, very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and gave us great advice on the local attractions and dining. The location was perfect for sight seeing and hunting. Montrose was approximately 7 miles away, which had all the essentials we could ask for. Ouray was a 1/2 hour drive, and Telluride an hour away. The house was exceptionally clean, and the layout of the house was perfect for couples. It basically had two master bedrooms with their own bathrooms, separated by a living room, kitchen and dining room. We were definitely happy with the whole experience and would highly recommend this rental. And will try to rent this place again in the future!

A must book property

Such a beautiful house with lots of windows to see the spectacular views of the mountains. Its close enough to town thats its not inconvenient, IE groceries and such. But far enough out of town that you can actually see the stars. The host is very kind and accommodating. She even anticipated some of our needs, such as leaving an ironing board and iron knowing we were there for a wedding! She even left us some information on places to eat, and things to see and do. We are forever thankful and greatful for getting the oppurtunity to rent this property and for the host! If you havent booked yet, do it! You will be happy you did!!!!

Cozy, Comfortable, Clean - Great Stay

This property was exactly as advertised. Sue was a great host, very responsive to messages and provided excellent information about the surrounding area. The entire process, from check-in to check-out, was very straight-forward. The rental was new and well designed; bright, clean and well provisioned. It seemed obvious that Sue had put a great deal of thought into providing a great place to stay. I would highly recommend this property. Thanks Sue!

Great House!

We had a great stay at this property! The owners are very friendly and easy to work with. The house is very new and clean and the location is perfect situated in the country outside of the city. We visted Colorado National Monument, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, drove the Million dollar Higway, hiked the Blue Lakes trail, and visited Telluride from this location. We can't go wrong renting this home.

We moved to Montrose three and a half years ago and love our community. We are excited to host guests on our property and share our views and knowledge of the area.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This home is brand new with beautiful decor, but the views are what are to die for. The home faces South and has views of the San Juan Mountain range. The sun sets over the ridge to the West. Grand Mesa can be seen to the North, and Buckhorn mountain is directly across the road to the East. Sunsets and glows are amazing! We are in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to highway 550.

This home is a Frank Lloyd Wright design. It is an open airy space with exposed beams. All of the floor to ceiling windows face South with beautiful views of the San Juans. All new appliances, comfy beds, fluffy towels, and a very well stocked kitchen will leave you relaxed and ready to go out and explore the surrounding areas.
