Welcome to The Freedom Room, a vibrant retreat crafted for women travelers in a beautifully renovated 1903 mini-mansion. Ideal for traveling nurses, college moms, and busy professionals, this 2nd-floor sanctuary is thoughtfully designed with privacy, comfort, and security in mind. Decorated in calming purples and teals, this room features a plush memory foam bed with plenty of pillows, an adjustable desk, cozy seating, and an in-room fridge stocked with snacks and toiletries. Enjoy coffee, light bites, and exclusive access to serene common areas, a charming outdoor terrace, and convenient private parking.

Our peaceful neighborhood is just minutes from downtown Indy and steps from the Red Line for easy transport. Our female-only, smoke-free environment is tailored for women seeking relaxation and focus, plus our team is dedicated to cleanliness and top-notch hospitality. Angie is a fantastic host. She is always attentive to your needs, and responsive to any communication. This is the second time I have stayed with her and am looking forward to staying again next year!

The communication was excelente, a very clean and safe place. Bottled Walter were available all the time, also fruit, snacks and the most important cereal. The owner very helpful, concerned for the commodity of the clients. I spent there 4 days and I recommend this place for every women that need to spend days in Indianapolis.

Okay stay

Perhaps since there were all 5 star reviews, I had higher expectations. 1. When I booked the accommodations, I was encouraged to leave a message and establish positive communication. I inquired about spas in the area, no one responded. 2. The bedsheets had bleach stains. I was not impressed. 3. The door to enter the facility with a passcode was not easy to manoeuvre. One evening I had to awaken the hostess at 11:30 pm. 4. There is no proper mirror in the room. Again with all 5 stars reviews, I had higher expectations.

Comfortable, clean, safe place to stay for solo female travelers. Angela paid attention to every detail to create a wonderful haven. She's an extremely responsive host too. I wish more cities had places like this!

A wonderful experience

This is the only place I will stay in Indianapolis from now on when traveling alone. They have safety measures in place that gave me a sense of peace while staying there. The personalized touches they added to the room shows the amount of effort that is put into each booking. The pictures that others have posted are an accurate depiction of the house and rooms. I will recommend this place to everyone. I will be back.

Cozy, Clean, and Comfortable

I'm always a little nervous staying in a new location, but this property surprised me beyond all measures! It was so well maintained, clean, cozy, and beautiful. There were many little touches that made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable. I have already booked another weekend for the spring!

Surprising and delightful

I needed last minute housing for a retreat in Indy and stumbled on this women’s only listing, which made me feel safe traveling alone to a new city. The whole place was so creative and uplifting- kind staff, awesome colors, empowering messages everywhere. I left proud to be a woman, which I needed more than I knew.

Fantastic Stay

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was super cute and had everything I needed, including snacks and a mini fridge with water. The gal at the front desk was super nice and helpful. I also really appreciated their nightly check in system to make sure I was back and settled in for the night, for safety purposes. As a female traveling alone, this was the perfect place to stay. Plus it was within 20-30 minutes of a lot of main attractions. I’d definitely stay here again!

Overnight Stau

The property is easy to find and parking is great. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Freedom Room is just as pictured and very comfortable. One problem is I woke up with 4 spider bites. I suspect they live in the fireplace. Thought you’d want to know so you can spray.

Convenient, Comfortable Lodging in Indy

This was a nicely renovated and furnished multi-purpose facility. Offers comfortable, cheerful rooms for overnight guests and serves as a venue for women’s group meetings, weddings, etc. Well appointed with everything the business or vacation traveler needs. “Girly” decor, scented lotions - kinda fun. Nicely remodeled bathroom with good water pressure & shower head. Owner and staff are warm and accommodating, and happy to help with anything you may need during your stay.
