Welcome to Villa Azul!
Recently renovated, this gated, one story, contemporary mediterranean villa is located at the top of Trousdale Estates, one of the finest neighborhoods in Beverly Hills.

With a great indoor/outdoor flow, this airy 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom (all ensuite) villa has multiple patios and outdoor spaces to enjoy the So Cal lifestyle.

We welcome both short term and extended stays as well as special events that are not a nuisance to neighbors. For event pricing, please inquire.

The Space:
Villa Azul is a tropical oasis and private resort as much as it is a home!

The grounds of the villa include a tennis court with basketball hoop, a detached gym and viewing terrace above the tennis court, a spacious pool deck with a free-form heated pool and attached waterfall spa, gas fire features, and outdoor couches, an outdoor ping pong table, a large gas grill, outdoor dining tables, chaises, and daybeds. Space heaters, lush perimeter gardens, accent lighting and outdoor speakers create a perfect setting to enjoy the outdoor space, day and night, throughout the year.

Inside, Villa Azul features several fireplaces as well as a spacious, sun-drenched, living room and a large media room with a movie theater, pool table, wet bar, wine cellar, high-end sound system and musical instruments and french doors that open to the pool deck and gardens.

The modern, well-equipped, custom, chef's kitchen features double Thermador and Sub Zero appliances, custom cabinetry and opens directly to the pool deck making al fresco dining a breeze. The adjacent, 10 seat, dining room includes a 10 ft glass table with custom art pedestals and wall paintings.

All bedrooms have bathrooms ensuite and are appointed with fresh linens, towels, soaps and toiletries.

Villa Azul Beverly Hills is luxury and comfort and family friendly, yet sophisticated and cozy.

Brilliant location, helpful owners, however a little run down in places.

We rented this house for the location and by Los Angeles standards it is fairly close to most tourist areas by car. The house is spacious and has a huge master suite, the fourth bedroom was extremely small however & not up to the standard of the other rooms so we couldn’t use it. Check in and instructions were easy and the owners responded quickly to my messages and the owner kindly allowed me a late check out till 1pm. The property has everything you need however some areas were becoming very run down. There were several broken things in the property, a broken speaker, loose curtain poles, shower jets not working in main master shower and mouldy, no plug in one of the baths, tap loose on the wall, spotlight in bedroom ceiling broken, one of the snooker cues broken. None of these things really affected our time there but I mentioned them to the owner on arrival just so they were aware that we didn’t cause the damage and they said OK so I assume the issues have been there for some time. The tennis court is lovely, and the gym is functional however very old and worn. They are both up some steep steps which didn’t bother us but probably should be in the description. We found the tennis court to be immaculate, the furniture on it however was not! Our main disappointment was the outside area, it was very unkempt and untidy. The pool wasn’t very clean and everywhere around the pool was quite dirty. I would only recommend once issues are fixed. Certainly not luxury at the moment.

Beverly Hills Family Reunion

Our overall experience was very positive. The property is well located for all of the activities that we had planned which included Universal Studios, Griffith Observatory, Getty Museums, Reagan Library, Hollywood Tours, etc. Improvement suggestions include: Should have written instructions for Heating and A/C, Television and Entertainment Center, Pool Heater, etc. Listing should explain that Tennis Court and Workout room are located at top of hill and require a walk up. Listing should explain the Spa and Pool are heated together if there is going to be a charge for heating these. A few repairs are needed including one refrigerator, kitchen faucet, and steam shower in master bathroom. Some outside furniture can use refreshing. All of these suggestion would improve the property, but overall, we still had a very good experience.

Enjoyable but

During our stay we had a number of interruptions due to needed repairs. However, the house had a great layout and lots of activities to keep the family busy. The location was great but the pool area could use some tlc.

Nice home layout - owner lived here for 30 years. We enjoyed the variety of opportunities the house provided when LA had very unusual rain .
