Walk to Ski, Walk to Town, Amazing Great Room with Vaulted Ceilings & Fireplace!

Our spacious and comfortable penthouse condo has the perfect, all season location. Sundowner, located on Four O'Clock Road, is just a short walk (or free shuttle ride) to the Snowflake lift or the base of Peak 9. Ski back in from the Four O'Clock run off of Peak 8 with a short walk back to the condo. Main Street shopping, restaurants and Breck's many festivals are just a quick 5 minute walk around the corner.

This spacious 1300+ sq. ft. top floor unit comfortably accommodates 8 people with 2 bedrooms and a loft as the 3rd bedroom and 2 full baths. Updated finishes in this unique condo include granite countertops, new insulated walls, and pine doors and trim throughout.

The master bedroom has a plush NEW king bed mattress, a full en suite bath, flat screen TV and a private deck. The second bedroom has a comfy king bed and full bath access in the hallway. The ladder accessible loft has room for 4 in two bunk beds.

Vaulted ceilings and skylights in every room - including the loft - allow the brilliant mountain light to stream in and stargazing at night.

Relax in the large great room while watching the new flat screen TV and surfing the complimentary high speed internet. A wood burning fireplace which is a welcome treat on cool nights. A sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress in the living room for extra sleeping accommodations.

A fully-equipped kitchen has beautiful cabinetry and is well stocked for a sizable family gathering. The large dining room table seats 8, and the breakfast bar seats an additional 4. You can also enjoy your coffee or a sunny lunch on the dining room deck with views of town and the back mountain range.

The amenities continue in the complex clubhouse! Guests have full access to an outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. There are shared central laundry facilities on site with a secure ski locker.

This property is privately owned by Amanda Allen and when you're onsite, our local home caretaker, Glori, will even go grocery shopping for you so that you have a stocked fridge upon arrival; we'll do everything to make you feel at home.

Our housekeepers are top notch and clean up to the highest of standards. We follow local lodging association guidelines.

Important notes:
- This property does not have A/C. Most properties in the mountains do not have air conditioning. If it gets too warm in the property, we just open the windows to create a nice breeze and use the fans in the closets.

- This complex does not have an elevator and is located on the top floor. Guests must be capable of climbing 3 flights of stairs to get to the property.

Good stay in Breck
The condo was well located between the mountain and the village, a 10 min walk to each (lifts and bars/restaurants). The condo was clean and was able to accommodate our group of by 6 adults. The bunk beds are accessed by a ladder so maybe not great for smaller children (or intoxicated adults).

Great condo close to downtown
My family + my sister's family stayed in this condo for a long weekend in July. The location is perfect to walk to downtown. The loft was fun for all 4 kids [16, 14, 12, 8 - and all of their stuff!] to have a space away from us. The beds were comfortable with enough room in the rooms to still move around and store things, the kitchen was a good size and had everything we needed, the living space had comfortable seating for everyone. Everything was clean, well provided for and everything I would have hoped for in renting a space for a vacation. Thank you for thinking of so many of the little things, like having cards and games for the kids for some of the down time. We will definitely look into staying here again in the future.

Favorite place in Breck!
This was the perfect place to stay for two families. The two king bedrooms and full baths made it so comfortable for the adults and the boys thought the loft bedroom (their dorm) was very cool. We could barely get them to come down to join the rest of the family - ha! The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots/pans and essentials and the linens/towels were very nice. The walk to the lift is a bit of a warmup, but doable. The walk into town is easy and convenient. Most important, Amanda is an awesome host. She was available for questions and offered a few extra perks that we very much appreciated. We have come to Breck numerous times over the years and this was by far my favorite condo! Thank you!

Family Ski Trip to Breck
Amanda was very attentive and quick to answer our questions. She accommodated the few requests that we had and was a great host. The condo is right in front of the Yellow and Brown bus lines. Our 3 year old had day care at Beaver Run which is only 3 stops away. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfect for skiing
Simply put, we chose to return to this property for the 2nd year in a row to ski Breck. The home is extremely well stocked, has 2 king bedrooms PLUS a ladder-accessed, spacious bunk room with 4 twin beds in 2 bunks. Regarding location, it is a close walk to the town's Main Street and a close walk to the Snowflake lift OR the Village at Peak 9 (ski school, rentals, etc.). In winter or summer, this is a terrific property for a family or couples get away.

Great family location!!
Property was great for a big crowd. Common area was nice and roomy and open. Pictures truly represent the property. Location was fantastic. Quick walk to town. Walking distance to Snowflake lift or to peak nine lifts. One of the easiest check in/ check out Vrbo’s we have used. Would stay again!! Beds were very comfortable! Thank you Amanda

Superior condo, walking distance to lifts
The property was excellent. We walked the short distance daily with 8yo and 10yo to the Village (Peak 9 base) to ski. We walked to dinner in town. The condo was superbly stocked with kitchen equipment, linens, towels, etc. Everything we needed was present in the condo. The heated community pool and hot tub were extremely close. The "loft" with 2 bunk beds (i.e. 4 twin beds) was spacious and perfect for our 8- and 10-yo kids -- the ladder access might be precarious for young ones, but both the master and 2nd bedrooms are spacious with king beds. Communication with the property manager was excellent throughout. I would recommend this condo without question (winter or summer).

Great place to stay for families and pets
We were looking for a pet friendly condo in Breckenridge that was walking distance to the slopes, shopping and restaurants and came across this wonderful place. Our host Amanda was very accommodating, kind and was very quick to respond to texts. Before we even departed she answered all my questions. When we arrived she had special gifts for the family for our stay, which was such a great touch. Everything about the condo was perfect - location, had all the comforts of home, luxury bedding/towels, clean, and we were able to prepare all our meals there. What a great place to spend our Thanksgiving week. Amanda has offered to be a resource for the area when we choose to spend another vacation in CO. We would be happy for Amanda to host us for our next visit.
