We just finshed a fresh new paint job for fall. Come check it out! Enjoy the new deck on the front entry too.

Enjoy the views of Lake Pokegama from the three season porch. Play yard games down by the lake or relax on the beach. Enjoy 2,000 acres of water to boat and fish on. Walk to our neighborhood restaurant, Lake Appeil, or create your meals in our fully equipped kitchen. End your days sharing stories around a fire.

The kitchen and living area are open and roomy for all of your family gathering time.

Two of the bedrooms have a comfortable queen sized bed. The third and fourth bedroom each has a double bed. The couch on the three season porch also has a pull out bed.

You will find your choice of yard games in the little garden shed. Bocce Ball, Corn Hole, Kuub, Lawn Dice, Beersbie just to name a few. If you are interested in volleyball we can set that up for you as well. You can also enjoy long walks right outside the cabin along Linden Tree Road.

Pokegama Lake, Snake River, Cross Lake - You can reach all of these from the dock.
Chengwatana State Forest - 8.6 miles
Governor Knowels State Forest - 13 miles

Great Place

This was my third time staying at this property or the neighboring property, which shares the same ownership. It is a great place to stay for a summer trip on the lake or an ice fishing trip in the winter and the owners are great to deal with.

Fall Retreat

Such a perfect place for friends to gather, craft, eat, and relax. The table in the kitchen was a perfect workspace, while the table in the sunroom was sublime for dining. Morning sunrise couldn't have been a better start to the day

Family Weekend

The place is better than it looks in the pictures! Spacious enough to sleep 10, nice dock for your boat or to fish off of, firepit by the lake and a beautiful view of the lake from the three season porch...this place has it all. The hosts were great, No issues and very responsive.

Great Home

We really enjoyed the property itself. There was a large yard and fun yard games like cornhole and croquet available to us. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Our only disruption came from normal neighbor noises like lawn mowers and speed boats. It's an occupied neighborhood! Also, the beach was bright green with algae which prevented us from swimming. However, we were greatful for the time there and LOVED the lawn and 3 season porch! Also, the owners were very friendly and responsive.

Amazing Cabin!

My family and I had such an amazing time. The cabin has more than enough room for 5 adults and two toddlers. It was extremely clean and the hosts were so friendly! Highly recommend! The only turn off we had was the water was very brown, dirty. That doesn't reflect the hosts, just saying don't expect delightful swimming water.

An up north feel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were great to work with and very responsive. The home was very clean and provided an up north feel. The 2 lakes connected by the river were expansive and provided many fishing opportunities.

Perfect getaway

Perfect family getaway. Cabin was clean, well stocked, and cozy. Big enough for everyone to have space, but small enough to keep the family together. It was a peaceful and quiet. Nice dock for the boat, the kids to fish off, or to just sit and enjoy the lake. Lots of ducks and geese to watch as well as many jumping fish. The owners were very communicative and really want you to enjoy your stay. The kids are already asking to go back next year.

Great cozy stay, lots of fun!

Great cozy cabin with plenty of living/family space. Awesome sun porch to watch the sun rise over Lake Pokegama. Nicely stocked and roomy kitchen. Overall an amazing weekend getaway for me, my daughter and our friends.

Fabulous

We loved our stay here…..4 adult siblings and we each had our own room to sleep! Plenty of room for our evening card games on the 3 season porch and dinners around the big table in the kitchen. Lots of counter space for all the snacks and food we brought. Beautiful setting facing the lake to the east so beautiful sunrises. One of us made use of the kayaks and went paddling around the lake. Beautiful to sit down by the dock with a cup of coffee or an afternoon drink. Hosts provided everything and more than we needed and were quick to respond to our questions. The photos don’t do it justice.

Very comfortable and relaxing

We chose the location because it was close to the venue for the wedding we were attending. We loved the tranquility that the cabin provided. It was a great way to start the day having coffee in the sunroom looking out at the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay!

We enjoyed our time at this property. It was clean, well stocked with items we needed and wanted during our stay, including lawn games and kayaks that my kids loved. The owners were kind and helpful, and even shipped a pair of shoes to us that we forgot! I would stay here again!

Simple, easy, beautiful views

The property was super simple to check in, easy to find and access everything, the hosts were close by but unless you needed something you had no idea they were there. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. House was modern but still had a cabin feel, Direct access to the water and fishing was decent. Overall great place to spent a weekend with friends or family.
