This property has been inspected and approved for rental by the Town of Wilson and meets all rental requirements. Are you looking for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life or just a few days of serenity? This location is the place for you. The two-bedroom, one-bath summer cottage is directly on the shore of Lake Ontario in Wilson, NY.

The inside has a large central living/dining room. The kitchen has all new appliances. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. All rooms have air conditioning. The bathroom is 8 x 8 and has a 34-inch shower stall shower. The bedrooms have new beds, mattresses, and bedding. There is Wi Fi cable and smart TV in central living area.

Enjoy the outside eating areas, sit in the gazebo in the front, enjoy conversations around the fire pit, or relax as you watch the beautiful sunsets. There is plenty of room for outside activities and private water access for kayaking or just sitting or just sitting with your feet in the water.

Stores and restaurants are only a 5-minute car ride away. If you want to do some sightseeing, Niagara Falls and the Canadian border are only 25 minutes away. Fishing boat rentals are available in Wilson and Olcott, 5 minutes away.

Check-in is at 4;00 on the first day of the stay, and check-out is at 11:00 am on the last day. There is no smoking allowed in the cottage around the cottage perimeter, or anywhere on the propery. There isn’t a washer or dryer in tte cottage but there is a laundromat nearby.

We also rent the property for family reunions, weddings, showers, or other events. Please get in touch with the owner if you are looking to use the property for any events.Please message us if you have any questions.

The sunsets!

We stayed a week and the location was fantastic. Very quiet and the sunsets were spectacular. The house appears recently renovated and was very comfortable. We stay in the area every 8 weeks or so and look forward to visiting again.

The location is perfect. Very private and directly on Lake Ontario. Plenty of room if you bring your boat to park it on the driveway. We will definitely stay again!

Stay in June at the lakeside cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Lake Ontario cottage! The cottage was clean, well stocked with supplies, and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, and the views of the lake were simply breathtaking! Each evening, we enjoyed fishing in the pond, watching the stunning sunsets, and having bonfires. Paul, our host, was wonderful. He was responsive, helpful, and friendly, showing genuine care for the property and ensuring we had a great stay. The cottage and grounds were well-maintained, and we loved using the paddle boat on the pond. Inside, the cottage is cozy and charming. The main bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The second bedroom, though small, was perfect for our kids. The kitchen was well stocked; we only needed to bring food! Adding a blender could be a helpful addition—we missed having one for milkshakes. The main living area was spacious with excellent lake views. We were treated to amazing sunsets and enjoyed spotting wildlife like Canadian geese, rabbits, and bald eagles. On warm days, the living room could get hot, but we appreciated the cool breezes from the lake. In terms of location, the cottage is situated about a 30-45 minute drive from Niagara Falls, making it a great retreat away from the tourist hustle. The nearest Walmart with groceries was about 40 min away! We loved the peace and quiet the cottage location provided.

Small Cottage, BIG heart

This was the perfect place for our stay when we visited family!!! Centrally located to Wilson, Olcott and Barker!!! I love this cottage. It is ideal for 2 adults. It is sparkling clean, with a nice kitchen and bathroom. The Master bedroom is ideal and the bed is very comfortable. THE VIEWS: the views are what gives this cottage it's BIG Heart. You can't get any closer to the lake and the sound of waves on the shore than this!!! Based upon availability, this will be the only place we stay. 10/10. Thank you so much for such a nice place to stay.

Comfortable Vacation Home

Beautiful view of the lake right out the glass living room doors to the patio! The kitchen had all I would need to cook with: plenty of pots and pans, mixing bowls, other tools, baking sheets, foil, dishes, cups, spices, oil (and dish soap). The hosts thoughtfully provided space heaters since the evenings were in the 30s in early April. Other small thoughtful touches contributed to the comfort of the stay. The living room felt spacious for 2 and the property was clean and neat. The water tasted different than home, of course, but I have no complaints. Before the trip, I had some questions that the host helpfully answered. Although there's no path across the front lawn from the driveway to the front porch, it is well-lit at night, with floodlights triggered by sensors.

Cute place with stunning sunsets

What a nice dog friendly place directly overlooking the Lake Ontario shores. Very comfy house with large living room and additional large outdoor patio. The two bedrooms are perfect for a family and the beds were very comfortable. Paul the owner was great and checked on us because we arrived late. Highly recommend this place and if we come back to the area we would definitely return here.

Great Location!

A cozy cottage with a beautiful view. It met all of our needs and expectations. It's easy to get to, amd and within a reasonable drive from the falls, great restaurants, and good fishing. We had a wonderful satay, and we'll be back in the future.

Absolutely Wonderful!

I can’t say enough about our stay at this property… exceptional views, very clean, well-stocked, & spacious despite its small footprint. Comfortably fit my family of five for a long weekend. Lake access was fun & pond on the property made for fun fishing memories w/ the kids. Short drive to Canada made it the perfect spot to stay for us. 10/10, would definitely stay again!!

Family trip

We had a great stay in Wilson. We loved the pond in the front and lake in the back! My husband and kids caught plenty of fish. I enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfy. Looked better than the pictures. It is a buggy area being so close to the lake but not sure what can really be done about that, and the bathroom is pretty tight space. But overall we would come back:) Niagara Falls was about a 40 min drive away. Lots of yummy local restaurants around!

Spacious Cottage

This cottage is spacious, very clean, nicely decorated on a good sized property. Beautiful views of Lake Ontario and a pond opposite the lake. The cottage is well equipped with everything you’d need to “stay in”. Cute little lake villages easily accessible and it is not far from Buffalo. The hosts are very responsive, helpful, and friendly.

This property was gorgeous. I enjoyed the quite and being right next to the water. Still close enough to a lot of different areas including shopping, Niagara Falls, etc. My family and I will definitely be back.

Beautiful property

This was an exceptionally comfortable and peaceful place to stay! We got exactly what we were looking for. A great view, peace and quiet and clean spaces to cook and hang out in. We chose it over larger properties because the setting was so uniquely beautiful. We were not disappointed and we will be back!

Unforgettable sunset views on the lake!

This is a beautifully appointed and cozy cottage with everything you need for a relaxing weekend. Relax in the backyard and enjoy the Gorgeous sunset views. Our hosts gave us all the details through email and let us know they could be reached at anytime since they were nearby. Definitely recommend for a long romantic weekend. I only wish a small washer/dryer were available.

We have owned the property for years and have always enjoyed the cottage during the summer months. After many have asked if we would rent it out, we have decided to let others enjoy what we have loved about the cottage. The sunsets are spectacular. This has been a place of many birthdays, wedding showers, and wedding celebrations. It is here waiting for you to make your family memories.

You can't put a price on relaxation and creating memories. While there are other cottages available for rent, none offer the same water access, spacious yard, and tranquility as this one.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The property features a spacious yard and ensures privacy. It comes fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and everything else needed for cooking. Since there is no dishwasher, the owner supplies disposable cooking utensils and paper plates to enhance the vacation experience for guests.. The property is large enough to part a boat or jet skis.
