Home away from home

I needed a place to stay locally that was pet free as my daughter’s friend has allergies. Very charming home. Comfy beds with crisp clean sheets, full kitchen, plenty of extra linens. There is a great outdoor space with fire pit, outdoor furniture, gas grill. I am a first timer with VRBO’s and found it to be way less complicated than expected. This area is a safe suburb of Kansas City and only about 20 min from Arrowhead stadium, WOF and downtown. Would definitely visit again!

Adorable house!

My family of four & a best friend stayed here for the long holiday weekend. The house was very clean, nicely decorated & had everything we needed for our stay! Loved that it was near a very nice park for my kiddos & close to many shops/restaurants as well as Worlds of Fun & the Zoo!

Quiet and comfortable

Beautiful 3 bedroom cottage!! Amenities for infants with high chair, pack and play, and toys. The backyard patio was very nice and gave us a place to unwind for the evening! Would definitely book again!

Relocation Stay

My husband and I stayed in the house for 3 months after relocating from another state. The house was comfortable and well stocked. Jill and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating. They quickly responded to issues and questions. There was some traffic noise from a road located at the back of the house but we got used to that. The cul de sac and the neighbors were quiet and friendly. The area is very convenient. It was perfect for our lengthy stay.

Comfy Cottage

It was so clean!! Entrance and check in was the easiest ever. Location was near every place we wanted to go to in Liberty. Amenities were excellent. Loved the coffee pot and “snacks”.

This place fit our needs perfectly. We came into town to attend a wedding. The home had everything we needed. Hot showers, comfortable beds for sleeping and an iron to look our best.

Great weekend trip

My husband and i stayed with another couple for a weekend wine trip. House was clean and the living room furniture was very comfortable to sit and relax in the evening. Overall was a great stay we would stay again if we are in the area.

Comfortable & Convenient

Liberty is a great location with easy access to KC and lots of local amenities, including fabulous historic downtown. The house was well provisioned and comfortable with no issues and Jill is very friendly.

Weekend Getaway

This was nice getaway for 2 couples to spend some enjoyable time together. Close to sight seeing, restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio and the fire pit was great as well. The kitchen table was great to be able to play some card games. I sent Jill a message to let her know we had found the place and were a bit early (before 3). She was very prompt in responding and said it was alll ready. Which was nice because we were able to unpack a little before our friends got there. She also provided some things to do in the area. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent Getaway!

This was the perfect property for a friend's bachelorette party. We all enjoyed the cute decorations and the cozy feel of the property. It was extremely clean. We had an incredible time and would recommend this property and Jill, the host, to our friends and other potential guests!

Weekend with mom

This was the perfect space and location for a special weekend away with my mom. This was her first experience staying in a Vrbo. She’s 81 so it took some convincing that renting a fully stocked and furnished house for only a few days, without the owner being there is a ‘thing’. I’m so pleased that this rental was exactly as described! The beds are comfortable, the cup-de-sac location is quiet yet 2 minutes from a grocery store, the kitchen is well equipped with modern and matching! kitchenware (pet peeve: when vaca rentals have a hodge-podge of mismatched utensils, measuring spoons, bowls, pans … - not here! It’s new and it matches and you won’t go digging for the 1/2 tsp!). This home is nicely done but not overdone with too many books or too much room deodorizer or unnecessary clutter to move to use the dresser. On the other hand, there are plenty of extra blankets and they did not skimp on the number of towels and wash clothes! The bedrooms are both good sized, with super comfortable beds, giving a person traveling with their mother for 3 days a perfect space to comfortably and privately retreat. I’m extremely pleased with our experience with this rental. It’s not a party pad and the quality of the contents shows that. It was perfect for the purpose of our stay! Thank you, Jill, for being responsive to my communication and for accurately describing your home. If I travel to the area in the future, I would love to stay in your home again!

Quick stay

We needed to be in Kansas City for a quick stay, but with the kids being older we wanted separate spaces. This was within 20 minutes of our location, was clean and well stocked. We weren’t in the house except to sleeps bed get ready for the day, but overall a nice place and a nice stay.

Papa's getaway at Granny's Cottage

Papa had a special weekend with his wife and two girls. One daughter drove down five hrs and we drove up 5 hrs to meet in KC. We decided we wanted a place we could unwind and reminisce. It was playoff weekend and we found the perfect place to stay. Close to good resturants and quick to get on I-35 to go visit grandkids and great grands. We went to city market to see Steamboat Arabia. So interesting and amazing! We planned on cooking and found the kitchen well stocked with pots, pans and all the extras. Nice treat basket greeted us in the kitchen and the beds were very comfortable and rooms inviting. Bathroom had an added bonus of a higher toilet (appreciated at our age) but it also had a built in childs seat you could pull down from the lid if you had children staying! Such a good idea. They paid attention to details and made use of every sq ft of the house for the comfort of the guests, including a laundry. Pictures did not convey how comfy and nicely decorated this home is. Everything was labeled and again so many amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. We would definitely stay here again because of its cleanliness and convenient location and safe neighborhood. Next door neighbors very friendly and welcomed us when we were outside. Clear communication with the owners on how to use code to enter and promptly answered question when we need help with the TV. We didn't want to miss the Chief's game! Again great place to stay and glad we found it.

Christmas stay at Granny’s Cottage

Had a wonderful week at this property! We had family in town but they did not have a good space for gathering so we were able to host all the meals at our rental. Comfortable, warm, and cozy 🥰. My 85-year-old mother, who uses a walker, was able to easily navigate the two small steps to get inside. Will definitely consider renting again if we’re back in KC next summer.
