Derrière une charmante porte du jardin, à travers votre propre entrée privée est une retraite confortable, bien situé à seulement 1 mile du village de Carmel-by-the-Sea. Notre très spacieux studio est une agréable promenade ou lecteur rapide des restaurants exceptionnels, des boutiques et des galeries et de belles plages et tout ce que Carmel et que la péninsule de Monterey a à offrir.

Notre studio est fait avec goût dans des tons chauds provençaux. Le lit king size est si confortable avec plateau-coussin d'alpaga et couette en duvet. Vous apprécierez le sommeil d'une nuit calme et paisible et se réveiller reposé pour l'aventure d'un grand jour.

Profitez d'avoir votre propre café préférée ou thé sur la table terrasse de bistrot avec quelques grands pâtisseries des boulangeries locales populaires .. Dans l'après-midi un verre de vin à partir de la propre attribution locale gagnante caves ainsi que certains fromages.

Lovely cottage

The cottage had everything you needed, the hosts were friendly and a good source of info if needed. The space was well laid out and we would definitely stay again.

Quaint cottage

It is a lovely property with a beautiful yard and nicely appointed accomodations. The bed is extremely comfortable. The property owners are very sweet and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful!

This cottage is so cozy and quiet. Perfect place to rest . I love the couch and armchair. The kitchen has all you need to cook a meal. There is an assigned parking space too. It’s close drive to downtown. The owner is very thoughtful and communicative if you need anything. I highly recommend.

Great Holiday Stay

We stayed over Christmas and were greeted with a bottle of wine, a basket of snacks and several other sweet treats. The cottage had everything you would want or need in a home away from home. The location is in a nice neighborhood close to all the coastal activities. We did them all! The outdoor patio was so well done. We highly recommend a stay here!

Carmel-by-the-Sea Cottage

As per all the reviews, this property did not disappoint. It is a very cozy stay in a great area and a quiet neighborhood. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need to make you feel at home. We loved Carmel as well and highly recommend this cottage if you are planning a trip to the area.

Quaint Stay

We loved the place and the neighborhood. Only problem was the Wi-Fi was very poor. The place is very well stocked with all that you’d need, and Barb is a charming hostess.

Great communication and an overall comfortable stay. Highly recommended for couples wanting a quieter stay away from downtown Carmel, but still close enough to walk into it. The walk back uphill will be tough, but rideshare options are always available and pretty affordable too. Can't stress enough how sweet and helpful the property owner was. Haven't ever encountered that with any B&B's. Can't wait to come back and stay again!

Clean, comfortable and quiet stay in a beautiful garden setting

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood a short drive from the village. The guesthouse is very clean throughout with high quality, comfortable furnishings and linens. The host was very friendly and hospitable. The outdoor space is a great place to start and end the day. We enjoyed our stay very much. We agree with some of the other reviews regarding the need for some clear surfaces for guest's belongings.

Our best stay in the area ever! Five stars on all the rating categories. Host welcomed us in person and made sure we were comfortable with everything. We were planning to come back late every evening from the Jazz Festival and she showed us the outside lights, etc. Highly recommended! B+H

Great stay in cottage!

Great stay in nature and walking distance to DT Carmel. Barb and Jerry are very kind and the cottage is well equipped and very cute! We will definitely be back. Only thing to mention is that you truly are in nature with many beautiful birds, which are early risers :) so if you're trying to sleep in late, that may be tough here.

Comfortable Cottage

Excellent location for our stay in Carmel. Barb was very accommodating and thinks of all the things you may need while on vacation. We enjoyed the patio with the bird and squirrel watching. Close to town and the restaurants are incredible. Also a great place to leave from to do some local cycling.

Restfully private in Carmel

We stayed again to enjoy 4 evenings of concerts at the Carmel Bach Festival. It is a nice walkable distance into town during the day and a peaceful respite to come home to by car after an evening concert. The comfortable bed and the absolute quiet led to great nights of sleep. The patio was full of blooms and birds. Our only negative was that the interrnet (though upgraded from our visit last year) is still unreliable and dropped us off consistently, or often wouldn't allow us to connect at all.

Very peaceful and accommodating :-)

We stayed only a couple nights and wished we could’ve stayed longer :-) The home is beautiful, and stocked with extra provisions, including fancy chocolates! It’s very quiet and peaceful there, and Barb and her husband were very responsive and accommodating. I. The bed was very comfortable, and the furnishings are lovely. It feels like you’re in the woods somewhere, but it is located actually very close to just about everything in that area. We hope to come back someday.‼️‼️

We’ll be back!

While the description was appealing, It paled in comparison to the reality of this magical property. Everything – from the furnishings, to the surrounding gardens, to the technology, and, most of all, finishing touches make this a must stay property For Carmel visitors. Really appreciated the freshly ground coffee, the gourmet quality bottle of wine, and the buttery croissants! Most of all we appreciated the warm hospitality of Barb and Terry. We’ll be back!

Quaint Cottage

Barb is an attentive host who has provided all amenities to make your stay hassle free. From all paper products to and kitchen supplies to soaps, shampoo and lotions. The location of the cottage was perfect for us, both quiet and walkable to town. (The walk is about 1 mile) We truly enjoyed our small patio with table and chairs. Hope to return soon!

Beautiful Cottage

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at this property. Barb left so many thoughtful touches throughout the cottage, she didn’t miss a single detail. It’s located in a beautiful neighborhood close to town, making it easy to travel and see all the sights Carmel has to offer. This was the perfect vacation rental. We will definitely be back!
