Mahi Mahi is a beautifully decorated 3 bedroom2.5 bath home that is perfect for your next family coastal vacation. Great location, right off Eleventh St. close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants.
Gather in the living room on a large couch which also turns into a sleeper, or one of the two side chairs while watching your favorite movie on the wall-mounted smart TV with Wi-Fi. For your convenience, there is a half bath in the hallway.
Down the short hallway is the full kitchen, with all white appliances, and well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils and a Keurig coffee maker. The dining table has four chairs and a bench seat on one side.
Step out onto the screened-in back porch to sip your morning coffee, and lounge on the various furniture provided.
Go out the screen door to the fenced in private back yard area; here you will find a gas grill, a picnic table, chairs and a small fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows. There is also another back door going straight to the kitchen.
Venture upstairs where the bedrooms are located. To the left is the master bedroom (BR1) has a King bed, nightstands with lamps, a chair, and a wall-mounted smart TV.
The ensuite bathroom is equipped with a vanity and tub/shower combo. The guest bedroom (BR2) consists of a Queen bed, nightstands with lamps, and a smart TV. The bunk room (BR3) has a set of Full size bunk beds, a small table with a lamp, and a smart TV. Both of these rooms share a hall bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a vanity. A laundry closet is across from the bathroom, with a full size washer and dryer for your use.
Cool off in the shared pool or drive 0.9 miles to the beach.

Worked for us

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood with just a short drive to the beach. Met my family’s needs for a short term rental. Was disappointed there was not a foosball table as shown in the pictures. Although I can imagine those don’t last long outside given the humidity.

I appreciate that the issue was with pull bugs and not roaches, but there were definitely a lot of them on the first floor. When we first arrived, I had to call property management because it looked like they forgot to sweep and mop due to the number of bugs on the 1st floor. Several were dead and many were still alive. The next morning there were even more bugs and unfortunately, there was no broom on the property to remove them myself. The property management office did send housekeeping back right away to clean the floor on my day of arrival. As far as the rest of the property-there is no foosball table present in the outdoor patio so the pictures do need to be updated. Many of the mini blinds were broken, making it impossible to open and close them. The screened in porch had dirty furniture and a lot of torn screens. The backyard had a lot of weeds considering it’s a small space it shouldn’t be too much for them to clean up b4 guests arrive. The kitchen had nonstick pots that were severely scratched up, which is unsanitary to say the least. The fan in the bunk room did not work which I called PM & they stated that they put in a work order but maintenance nvr showed up; unfortunately this made the bunk room very HOT. On the positive-the beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning (other than in the bunk room) worked well and the location is great being so close to beach access.

Other better options in the same neighborhood

We’ve stayed at three different cottages in the royal palms and this one was the worst. The house was pretty dirty. The house has a bug problem I think due to the doors having no weatherstripping. I literally had a roach crawl on me while sitting on the couch. The AC doesn’t work great, probably in part due to the large gaps in the doors. The closed in patio literally looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years - the foozeball table was caked in dirt. The bathroom tub spout was loose from the wall and overall it was pretty worn. There were smart tvs in all the rooms which was nice but that didn’t make up for the shortcomings of the home.

No A/C and Not cleaned!!

1st night A/C was inop. 85 degrees in the upper bedroom so I got NO sleep. Repaired the next morning; but, for a 2 day trip it sucked. I would think the place would be checked b4 renting! The main problem was that the floors and all the seat covers were filthy! We washed them and had to sweep. There was no mop available. I'm talking take your socks off for bed, walk to bed and bottom of your feet need washing! It Galls me that I had to pay a very substantial cleaning fee for the weekend but the place wasn't clean!! No refund was offered. I would recommend you stay elsewhere. There are many other places nearby.

Perfect stay! great location..enjoyed the ocean breeze. Nice big kitchen to cook for my family with a beautiful dining table. Plenty of seating and space for everyone. Screened in patio and fenced in backyard. Made it perfect for my dogs. The lights just set the perfect vibe :) Had a grill and a little fire pit so we were enjoying our evenings cooking our fresh caught fish and s’more’s at the end of the night :-) We didn’t want to leave :-) will definitely go again.

The place was very nice. Lots of room for all 8 of us. All the kids loved the place. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

This property had everything we needed besides a dust pan! A tropical storm had just dumped a lot of rain on the area so I feel like the slight unkempt look to the outside area was due to that. Nothing a few minutes couldn't take care of. The screens on the porch were torn loose ~ again, this could've been due to the storm. The outside furniture definitely needed new cushion covers but everything else was fine.

Great place overall!

We loved staying here. The beds were very comfortable and enough space (and more) for our group with the front room and the outdoor spaces. The proximity to the golf cart rental, beach access, and downtown was great - would definitely stay again!

Nice beach house

The house was adorable and comfortable. Reservations were for 10 people but we had 7…would have been very tight if we had 10. I would say 8 max. There were a few maintenance issues like torn screens and stains on couches. Be sure to Bring your own hairdryer and beach towels.It was a lovely home with comfy beds and pillows

Definitely Wasnt Life in Paradise

Upon entry the property was exactly as pictured until further inspection. Dishes and grill were left dirty. The rental company makes you sign a lenthly contract that will charge you extra for leaving things dirty ($30 for grill being left unclean) so this surprised me. Day 1 we experienced a fridge that did not cool and water leaking from the roof from the 2nd floor shower. Property manager took over 12 hours to respond to my message on the Vrbo app about the fridge. Called the company, left a message and they sent out a handyman within 15 mins. Overall this weekend was not a vacation and i will never rent through a rental company again. Avoid!
