Welcome to Dock Holiday! A beautiful waterfront cabin on Lake Nottely! Our home is a 4BD 3.5BA log cabin on the water and overlooking beautiful forestry reserves across the lake. Truly, your own slice of paradise. On a beautiful wooded lot, our home is impeccably decorated to give you that relaxing "cabin in the woods" feel but with all the comforts of modern luxury, and the fun of being directly on the lake. We have provided you with as many amenities as possible to truly have a wonderful stay and enjoy the lake to its fullest.

Wake up in the morning to freshly brewed coffee, looking out the floor to ceiling windows onto the water, or sit on the patio enjoying the quiet sounds of nature. Head down to the double decker dock to laze around in the sun, or have some fun in the water. There are inflatable toys for you to use, as well as paddle boards so that you can enjoy the lake life to its fullest. If you’re feeling more adventurous, the marina is only a quick two minute drive from the cabin, where you can rent a boat or jet ski to explore the rest of the lake.

Head into town in the afternoon to explore the local sights or visit one of our many local wineries – we are conveniently located near to many local attractions. Come back home and head down to the dock to cast a line and test your fishing luck, or light up the wonderful lakeside fire pit to enjoy a roaring fire as the sun sets, while you make some s'mores with friends and family. Continue the amazing evening with some steaks or burgers on the BBQ grill provided, and then head in for family game night – we have provided multiple board games for you and your family to play. As the day winds down, head to the soothing hot tub, which seats 8 people, and let all your worries continue to melt away. This lakefront house really has it all!

From here, it's also an easy drive to other activities like hiking, tubing, golfing or gambling. We are near world class white water rafting, multiple wineries, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, wonderful restaurants and the Appalachian Trail.

***Please note that the lake levels go down outside of season. Full Pool is April - August. The lake levels can drop up to 13 feet in the off season. However, we are fortunate enough to have deep water for your year round enjoyment!***

We are Owner managed which allows guests to easily contact us and receive friendly service as we like to treat those who stay at our cabin like guests! :)

We are located 5 minutes from downtown BLAIRSVILLE, 25 minutes from BLUE RIDGE, and 30 minutes from Murphy, NC. If you have any questions, just ask, we are always happy to provide more information about the area.

Wonderful stay with many memories made!

Went on a family vacation here with our children. The house was clean, warm, and had many extra items…. Games, extra ice maker, Xbox for the kids, fishing poles. Owners were receptive to any questions and checked in during our stay his email to make sure nothing was needed. Overall great location, amenities, activities and place to stay. Would highly recommend.

Fourth of July at the Lake

Beautiful setting and sunsets! The cabin was well-appointed and spacious enough for our three adult children and their friends/fiance. We rented a boat for a few days to make the experience even more enjoyable!

As Advertised!

We had a great time staying for the third year in a row on Nottely Lake. This was the third different cabin we have stayed in and we liked it the most! Great view across the lake to nature, close to town and it has nearly every amenity you could ask for! Working with Donna was a pleasure. We hope to return again next year!

Lake Nottely

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful spacious cabin on Lake Nottely. The home had a great floorplan for multi generational visits and the kitchen was so well stocked we had everything we needed. The lakefront was great and the kids had a great time swimming and jumping off the dock. The paddleboards were a great addition. We also liked the location which was close to town for shopping at that great Ingles grocery store. All in all, a wonderful trip to Lake Nottely!

Summer lake vaca

What an amazing home! This vaca/home/location was one for the books! Our family had an amazing time here! Jumping off the dock in the afternoon…. enjoying a fire in the evening… we could not have asked for a better place! Beautiful home! Clean! We had everything we needed! The beds were comfy! And Donna the host was just a text away. We will definitely be back!

Amazing girls weekend

Our stay at Dock Holiday Cabin was even better than expected. We had a wonderful time. The views are gorgeous, the cabin is spacious, cozy, well equipped and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Our host was wonderful and very responsive. Would love to return! Thank you! Tania

Great house on the lake!

The house was amazing! Had everything you need for the kitchen! The lake view is amazing. There is a decent amount of boat traffic because it is on the main channel around the corner from the marina, so floating on the lake in tubes and noodles is not ideal due to boat wakes.

Great Fall Break Location

We thoroughly enjoyed Dock Holiday for our fall break! The boys thought we were in the middle of nowhere yet we were only a few miles from a great grocery store and little town! Hiking in the area was easy to get to and beautiful with fall foliage. The deep water dock was wonderful- our boys enjoyed jumping from 2nd floor into the lake and were amazed that they never could touch the bottom of the lake. The paddle boards and kayak were provided and perfect entertainment. The house/kitchen was the best stocked of any rental we’ve stayed at. Would recommend staying here!

Magic in the mountains!

Our family had a wonderful week at Dock Holiday - despite lots of rain in the mountains, we had the best time. The house is lovely and very well appointed - everything you could possibly need for a fantastic vacation. The lakefront location and the paddleboards were one of our favorite things - we spent hours on the water exploring Lake Nottely. Blairsville is a quaint mountain town with lots to do nearby - we loved hiking, visiting local vineyards and renting a boat for a fun day on the lake. Donna was wonderful and responsive and we can't wait to return to this magical moutnain getaway!

Treasure by the lake

This was our first time to Lake Nottely and it was fabulous! The house was perfect for our family. So many amenities were included which was a pleasant surprise and made our stay that much better. Conveniently located to marina, shops, and cute downtown Blairsville. Swimming and fishing right off the dock. S’mores overlooking the lake at sunset. We were able to dock our rented boat easily overnight. Great memories were made. Thank you!!

Wonderful Lake House

Amazing property. We had a family of 6 adults and 2 children for this week’s long vacation. The house was beautiful. I loved the small touch of the host having everything labeled, it was very convenient and helpful. Each bedroom has plenty of room and storage. The kitchen was well appointed. The property was gorgeous, all of the views were spectacular even when we had some rain. There is a great backyard area that we all enjoyed. The host was great with communication from the time we booked until check out, very helpful with area information. The location of the cabin is very central to everything you would want to do from Blue Ridge, Helen and great hiking areas.

Just what we were hoping for!

Our vacation at Dock Holiday was wonderful. We had multi generations ranging from kids to grandparents. There was plenty of room and activities to please everyone. The grandparents enjoyed coffee and reading on the beautiful decks and playing the supplied games with their grandkids, while the teens could not get enough of the double decker dock and lake! They spent a good deal of their time jumping in the water, swimming, paddle boarding, and fishing from the dock. Wonderful memories were made! The kitchen is fabulous and the bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable. The hostess Donna is very pleasant & easy to work with. The few questions we had she answered immediately. I wish we could have stayed longer. We are already making plans to return in the future!

Lake House with fam

We had a great stay! We spent a lot of time in the water, on the dock, and enjoyed our at home dinners as the kitchen had everything we needed and more! The deck views were perfect and we played games out there every night! Also, the town was super cute and everyone was super friendly! We also fit in a nearby hike where the views were amazing! I would LOVE to come back! Also, the lake was so quiet with no boat traffic! Tubing was a blast! Only thing that would have made it better of my son would have caught more fish ( he caught one!) ha! And maybe less wasps! Thank you so much for renting your awesome lakehouse to us!!!

We are excited to share our lakefront log mountain home, Dock Holiday GA with you located on the beautiful Lake Nottely. We currently reside in the Metro Atlanta area with our two boys but have been visitors to the North Georgia for the past 15 years. We would love to have you as our guest and hope you love Blairsville and Lake Nottely as much as we do!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We love the peacefulness of Lake Nottely compared to other area lakes as approximately 70 percent of its shoreline is USFS protected land. We love coming for all seasons to enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, and visiting the local wineries. We are also very close to downtown Blairsville and restaurants which we love to frequent when we come up to visit.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love the two large covered decks or the double decker dock that allow you to take in the lovely lake views. The hot tub on the lower level patio is the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the lake or hiking. The fire pit has ample seating to enjoy some roasted marshmallows or just enjoy the lovely views of Lake Nottely.
