Harwood Getaway - Central, Spacious, 3BD+Desk

Comfortable and spacious 3 bedroom house centrally located and well equipped. Relax in the large living room, or roast s'mores on the back patio fire pit. Enjoy meals using the farm house dining room table or spend a few hours on the dedicated work desk. Minutes from downtown, hospitals and the university. Super fast wifi, two bathrooms, two king beds, two queen beds, pull out couch and washer + dryer. Roku TV in both living room and master bedroom (Roku is in guest mode, so you can log into your services). Quiet neighborhood with easy access to everything in Tyler!

The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and lined with massive oak trees.

Three large bedrooms and two full baths (one with a tub). Kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you need, including blender, slow cooker, rice maker, pots and pans. The inviting backyard is fenced and contains seating and a fire pit to enjoy the cool evenings. The property contains large trees and is gorgeous during all seasons. Living room has two comfortable couches... one of which is a pull out couch.

Let our house be your home away from home. You have access to the full house, and can even use the car port to park your vehicle.

We are available on the phone if you need anything and have a team available.

Family friendly and gorgeous tree filled neighborhood. Quick access to groceries, shopping and major streets.

*** Fire wood and charcoal are not provided. ***

*** The house contains a doorbell camera on the front door and the car port door, and there is a security camera facing out on the back patio (with audio recording turned off). ***

*** During growing season, we have the property mowed every two weeks on Wednesday after 9 AM. Usually doesn't take more than an hour. ***

*** Security Deposit: A $400.00 deposit is required with each booking. A "hold" will be put on your credit card 2 days before your trip, and be released 2 days after departure. ***

*** There are two doorbell cameras (one on the front door and then on the car port door) and also a camera facing out in the backyard (this camera has audio recording turned off). ***

Great place to stay!

Great house to stay at. Well stocked and felt like home. Easy, short drive to all restaurants and stores. Will stay again if we go back to Tyler!

Hardwood House

Our stay was very cozy and comfortable. This cute house had everything we needed, including an outdoor fire pit. We enjoyed our brief stay. Communication and the check in process was seamless. We will stay here again if we are ever back in Tyler. The location was convenient and close to everything in town.

Great Place, Great Location, This Owner goes the distance to take care of their renters.

This was a pleasant stay. There is a work station that was perfect for some work I had to do on my laptop. My family had a great time and the distance to all the places you would need to go is just around the corner.

Stay for Church Conference.

We used Harwood Getaway for guest to stay during our Church Conference. The house was a great place for our guest. Very comfortable and convenient to everything. Would definitely recommend and will be using again soon.

A quiet neighborhood close to everything

We were in town looking at properties to buy in retirement. The house was close to the 323 loop rd around Tyler so convenient to major roads. We also enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The owner fixed up minor repairs quickly.

A perfect home base.

The property was clean, very well furnished and had everything necessary to relax, hang out and have great conversations both inside and outside. The back patio area with the fire pit was a highlight. Along with everything necessary to cook a good meal. I stayed with some friends leading up to a wedding and it was a spacious and comfortable home base during our stay. The hosts were also amazing as they communicated with me very well the whole length of the stay. It was an amazing property, would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the location.

Nice Stay

My family stayed here while visiting extended family in Tyler. The house was as advertised. It’s a minimalist feel while having everything you need in it. I had to cook some dishes for Thanksgiving & made do with kitchen utensils provided. Everyone was happy with this home. Chris was great with communication. Thank you.

Great Stay!

This was a perfect home away from home for us. Clutter has no place here! It was immaculate, well organized, well stocked, close to everything, and in a lovely neighborhood. We had breakfast and dinner here every night and had all the tools to do it. Chris and Andrea were perfect hosts. We got immediate responses to our communications. We enjoyed the guest book and the suggestions from other guests. We highly recommend Javi for Mexican food and the Whitehouse farmers market on Saturday mornings. We would highly recommend this property!

Work trip weekend

A couple of my work friends and I were taking a class in Tyler and needed a place to stay for 2 nights. The house was clean and simply decorated. They had all the essentials, except i wish the fridge had an ice maker, wasnt expecting to have to go out and get ice. But honestly that was no big deal. The beds were comfortable, there's plenty of space and the hosts were very kind. It was a nice easy pleasant stay. Great neighborhood and easy to access everything. I don't think we drove more than 7 min to any destination.

Not exactly as I would have expected but the owner was willing to work with me.

Some things were not as I would have liked. However, the owner has promised to correct issues and make improvements. In a pinch I would stay here again. The things that needed improvement were not extreme, they were small things. The owner is VERY nice so if you need anything, please just notify him.
