Enjoy a relaxing getaway at the Barn only 40 minutes from downtown Dallas. Wake up to a back porch sunrise view while sitting in rockers and sipping coffee. Spend the day lounging in the comfortable family area or make a run up to the Kaufman Square for shopping and lunch. Evenings can be spent on the back porch watching the pond life or by the fire pit in Adirondack chairs. Guests will love the quiet solitude of the country and a chance rest awhile.
The space
Very rustic and open air. 2 bedrooms downstairs have king beds. 2 bedrooms upstairs have a queen bed and 4 bunk beds in each room. Kitchen has concrete countertops and wooden cabinets.
Guest access
Guests have access to the immediate fenced in area and walking path around the pond. The small barn is not available. Any doors that are locked are meant to stay locked.
Other things to note
The barn creaks with the wind. There will be bugs and critters around so shoes are recommended at all times.
If you are a light sleeper it is recommended that you bring a sound machine or earplugs as the noise around the barn can travel between rooms due to the large space.
