Belle, lumineuse et aérée, haute de plafond appartement de 3 pièces dans le charmant et historique de la Vieille Ville de Nice, France. Contrairement à de nombreux appartements anciens des villes qui sont très sombre à cause de ruelles piétonnes étroites, hautes fenêtres françaises et le placement 2e étage fournissent de la lumière. Parquets, cuisine bien équipée, salle de bains bien éclairée. L'appartement est décoré dans un design épuré moderne avec des œuvres d'art originales.

A deux minutes à pied du célèbre marché Saleya (marchés aux fleurs, antiquités, fruits et légumes, épices), restaurants, cafés, boulangeries, pubs, magasins, Promenande des Anglais, plage. Sur le chemin du marché Saleya, vous passerez par la Place du Palais de Justice, une grande place ensoleillée avec fontaine et bordée de cafés.

Le quartier: L'appartement est à 5 minutes à pied (ou 1 arrêt de tram) de la place Masséna et du grand magasin Galleries Lafayette sur Jean Médecin, un axe central des commerces et des transports menant à la gare principale. Dans l’autre direction, vous pourrez vous rendre à la place Garibaldi, au musée d’art ou au Vieux-Port en moins de 10 minutes.

Nice est la deuxième à Paris en nombre de musées en France. Il ya beaucoup à faire et à voir dans la ville, y compris le Musée Matisse, Musée Chagall et bien d'autres.

Côte d'Azur: On peut facilement explorer la COOE d'Azur en train ou en bus tout le chemin à l'Italie dans une direction, Marseille dans l'autre. La gare est à quelques stations de tramway (CA 10 minutes) de l'appartement. Le plus proche arrêt de tram: Opéra / Vielle Ville. Une voiture est absolument pas nécessaire!

From check in through check out everything was straight forward. The property manager had labelled where the important things were and had directions on how to use everything. The beach umbrellas and blanket came in handy too!

Excellent location and easy check-in if you arrive late

Nice owner with quick reply time for any question. Great location to enjoy the old town and the sea front. You can walk to the train station if you are good at walking but you can take buses/trams to and from everywhere very easily. Lots of restaurants around (can be a little lively if you were expecting early nights) I would recommend this flat to any friend ! Thank you

Great spot in old town Nice

The instructions for getting into the property sound a bit like a treasure hunt, but ultimately are very clear and easy :D The apartment had more than enough space for the 3 of us. It was great to be able to do some laundry while we were there. There was some late night noise from the street below, but we were all so tired from a fun visit to the very accessible old town that it didn't bother us one bit. I'd happily stay here again ... thanks Janine!

Terrible directions

The apartment and location are charming and excellent. It is very well equipped. The stairs are a killer. It is very noisy at night. So be forewarned. All in all it was fine, we made the best of it.

Great location

Nice apartment right in the middle of the old town. Check-in via key box very comfy. No need to bring your own bed sheets or towels which I very much appreciated. Of course it is noisy at night, but that's the price you have to pay when you want to be in the centre. Although we did not meet in person Janine was very welcoming. The flat is on the third floor without elevator which was no problem for us, but might be for elderly people. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Listing not accurate

We walked in, looked around, and left! The picture reflects a red coach and art that is not in this apartment. It is an old blue futon. I found the apartment small, stuffy and not well ventilated. We did not stay even for a night. The bathroom was not very clean and while the property owner suggested this was due to rust, we stayed in numerous properties throughout our travels and did not encounter even one bathroom that looked like this.

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end dans l'appartement qui est très bien situé avec la plage et la promenade des anglais à 5 min à pied. Une hôte agréable et très disponible pour toute demande. Petit bémol sur le fait qu'il n'y est pas de micro-ondes dans l'appartement. Encore

Familie Urlaub 2023🇩🇪

Unser Urlaub war super schön 👍👍 - Wohnung top ( gut ausgestattet um sich wie Zuhause zu fühlen) - Lage top ( Strand und die Straßenbahn in der Nähe, viele kleine Restaurants, Kaffee und Kiosk 👍aber teuer … aber beim Monoprix kann die Familie gut einkaufen ) Das einzige negative war die Lautstärke. Die Menschen haben jede Nacht bis in den Morgenstunden gefeiert. Aber mit Geschlossen Fenstern und Ventilatoren war‘s Ok. Im Groß und Ganzen waren wir sehr zufrieden. Ps.: An alle die ohne Auto da sind, kauft euch am Automaten eine BahnCard zum aufladen. Sie ist Pink und für Kurzstrecken. Merci Madame Hudson B. W.

Amazing Location

A traditional apartment close to the heart of Vieux Nice, location could not have been better. Apartment was cosy and although slightly aged was kept very clean. Only real negative was weather was incredibly hot and not much air flow in the apartment even with the windows open and in any case the neighbourhood very noisy until early in the morning so difficult to sleep with the windows open. The fans provided helped a little. Janine was very helpful with checking in and making the apartment ready for an early arrival.

Wir können die Wohnung leider nicht empfehlen.

Die Wohnung war nicht sauber geputzt, im Bad hat es gestunken, es gab kein WC-Papier, das Bettsofa für die Kinder war weder aufgeklappt noch bezogen und der Esstisch ist nur 80x80 cm gross. Die Lage ist gut.

Charming apartment in old town near beach

We loved this charming apartment and my kids and I were sad to say goodbye to it! It was perfect for our family and had everything we needed - a cozy living space and separated bedrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen and utility area. The huge light-filled windows looked down onto the bustling pedestrianized alleys below, full of stores and restaurants. We loved the sound of the church bells and the hustle and bustle of daily life and the close proximity to the beach, parks, the old and new town. Could not have had a more central location for everything we wanted to do, including getting buses out of town to places along the Côte d'Azur. It was a great place and Janine and her local managers were all helpful and quickly got us settled. Only caveat is staircase of 3 floors for those that can't manage - not an issue at all for us... And made for a great view down to street below. Definitely recommend this warm and sweet place.

A very nice stay

Property was exactly as described with helpful notes dotted around the place. Fantastic location right on the edge of the old town, the only downside of which was a bit of street noise. Comfy night's sleep had by all and would certainly stay again. Many thanks to Janine for being super organised for our stay.

Great location and apartment.

We had five people in the apartment so it was tight but well worth it. The location is amazing, close to restaurants, sites, and the coastline. Janine was always responsive and helpful. Great stay!

Great location, great apartment

We had a great visit to Nice this recent summer. We had 5 adults in the apartment and although a little tight squeeze with that many adults, we had a great time! The apartment was clean, tidy, had everything you needed. Beds were comfy, and plenty of fans for the hot Nice sun! The bathroom facilities were great, a great opportunity to catch up on washing whilst travelling around France for 3 weeks. Janine was great, everything was organised and worked well. Efficiently returned deposit too. When back in Nice, I will definitely book again!

Lovely Apartment!

Janine's holiday apartment in Nice is very sweet and so centrally located. It's situated in the old town with lots of great restaurants nearby. Tram stop, airport bus and the beach are almost right next door! Me and my friend manged to visit Cannes, Monaco, Antibes and St Tropez during our stay. We had a wonderful time staying and thank you very much!

wonderful apartment close to the beach

Imagine a charming apartment in the historical centre of Nice where you can be a few steps from wonderful dining options, yet only minutes from the beaches and the excitement that they offer. I took a couple of summer classes at the Nice law school and it was a nice 25-30 minute walk each direction to the campus. It isn't often that you happen across a clean, tastefully renovated apartment in a historical building that is at the center of the excitement and it is even rarer when the unit is an affordable alternative to spartan hotels or overpriced beachfront units. We spent a month in landlord's lovely apartment and it was a wonderful holiday for us. The location was central to everything - we walked pretty much everywhere, but there were also bus and tram stops quite close. There are a ton of merchants operating on the streets of Old Nice, but there were also several groceries within a few minute walk. The unit was well-furnished with a bed in the bedroom, a fold out bed in the front room, and a futon in the sitting room. The kitchen was well-stocked for us to prepare gourmet meals at home, but we still ended up checking out the many culinary options in the neighborhood. The apartment included a nice high speed internet which was useful for planning weekend excursions and taking care of business. The boulangerie located right outside the building was delicious, there are several glace shops nearby (Fenocchio is recommended), and there are culinary tastes to suit any budget and any preference (avoid the church square though - overpriced and pretty bad food). Our favorite nearby dinner spot was Casa Mia - look out the sitting room window and you can't miss it. Landlord was extremely helpful and very friendly over the course of our stay, the time leading up to it, and long after we left. For those with a car, we found parking in garages nearby and also parked at the airport long-term lot and took the bus to/from the apartment. I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends/relatives.

A Little bit of Heaven

I stayed in this charming apartment for 5 days in May on my first visit to Nice. I was impressed with the homey feel of this sunny apartment right in the middle of the historic district. The apartment was beautifully decorated, spotless, and included all the amenities. My favorite local attractions were the lovely flower, vegetable, and flea market, the Matisse Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art. The labrynth of local streets were filled with restaurants and lovely shops. I hope to come again soon and would certainly recommend it to family and friends.

Old Charm

My husband and I rented this beautiful apartment for 6 months. Our overall experience was great. The apartment is bright and very charming. The apartment is roomy with high ceilings and had all amenities we needed. The location is central, close to the beach, and markets. We recommend this apartment for those who want to feel and experience the old world of France.

Great value for money

We stayed in this lovely flat for two weeks in Sept. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the neighborhood restaurants. The Lebanese restaurant on the corner was our regular hangout. The flat was very well furnished with new dishes and nice bedding. We would recommend it without hesitation.

When in Nice, I love just being in the old town, enjoying local cuisine, lingering in cafés, strolling over to Place Garibaldi and then taking the street which runs along the hill to the old port. There are many interesting shops along that way, with antiques, baskets, other stuff. Right at Garibaldi is MAMAC, the modern art museum, which I take a turn through every trip. It is also worth taking a bus up to Cimiez to visit the Chagall Museum and then still further up to the Matisse Museum which adjoins an archaeological site and museum and lovely gardens with view over the city!

There is an antique and knick knack market every Monday at Cours Saleya which is just two minutes away. Also a huge flea / antique market at Place Garibaldi one Saturday per month.

And of course, there is the sea, three minutes across the Place de Palais and under the arches.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, have lived in Zurich for many years. There, I missed the proximity to the sea. Nice is for me, a way of returning to my roots, without having to go so far. Perhaps it is my French version of Miami Beach plus rich art history, beautiful weather, great architecture, great food.
I visited Nice first in 2000, returned in 2005 and then in 2010 to look for an apartment. Many of the apartments were renovated and chopped up older buildings, loft beds inserted which created rooms with low ceilings. When I entered this apartment, I breathed a deep sigh of relief, and fell instantly in love. The ceilings are high, the windows are tall and the location is great!
