This lovely modern home sits at the water's edge of Ewin Narrows and offers water views from every room. If boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming or just dangling your feet in the water from a private dock sound like the ideal vacation activities, Dockside is for you. While located in a quiet neighborhood, its central location in Harpswell provides access to the area attractions of Orr's Island, Bailey Island, and Harpswell Neck. Dockside is just 10 minutes from Brunswick for shopping, cinemas or that all-important pizza.

Inside you'll find a large kitchen, a dining table that seats six people, a comfy living room with a smart TV, and a bedroom with a full bed. Upstairs are two more bedrooms including the primary bedroom with a king bed and adjoining full bathroom. The third bedroom has a queen bed and two twin beds and next to this bedroom is another full bathroom. Dockside sleeps 6 comfortably.

Venture outside to play on the large sunny lawn, grill or bask in the sun on the deck, or nap in the shade on the porch. Enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the dock listening to the ocean lapping gently at the pilings. The small beach area by the dock is a great place to explore or wade in the water or swim from on hot summer days! Michael & Barbara said: "Wonderful rental in pristine condition inside and out with large dock on calm waterway. Perfect for adults and children. Great for Bowdoin alumni as only 6 miles from campus."

Dogs are welcome at Dockside (a non-refundable pet fee applies).

Enjoying Harpswell at Dockside Again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 3rd time my daughter and I rented Dockside. This time my grandson and his finance plus a well behaved retriever stayed with us for a week. It is in a quiet location, beautifully maintained on Ewings Narrows so little boat activity but a short drive into Brunswick. The only suggestion would be to upgrade the 1st floor shower so it is more safe--- very slippery floor and no safety bars!

Dockside Staycation

The towel bar was still broken/unusable still--- not yet fixed from last year?!?Why---- should be an easy fix!

Great Property in Harpswell, ME

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love this property...this was the second time we have stayed there. The view is fantastic and the dock large and makes access to the water easy. Only suggestion is may want to think about replacing the beds in the near future; we used the king, the queen and the full size and all thought they were somewhat uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was great!

Our fellow travelers bailed out on us at the last minute so really it was much too big for just the two of us,but, it was their loss. Love doing business with Mainstay Vacations and would HIGHLY recommend them. Their service is above average and they truly do everything they can to ensure you have a pleasant stay. This is my second time using them and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

Anniversary Reunion

We are three couples whose celebrated various anniversaries. 50 years married and 50 years since graduating together. The house was clean, the view was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the house and management company were excellent.

Our only regret is we were so busy with graduation that we didn't have enough time to be at the house and enjoy it. There is no need to go anywhere -- a perfect spot to spend days reading and relaxing, swimming etc.

We were delighted!

Everything was clean, the house and property were beautiful, the kitchen was supplied with everything we could possibly need, and there was plenty of privacy. We wished we could have stayed longer. The bald eagle and DOZENS of monarch butterflies feeding on the plants in the yard made our visit especially memorable. The agent with whom we dealt while there was extremely helpful to us.

Beautiful spot, beautiful home

Stayed here with some friends for a few days and had a wonderful time. The home is right on the water, is very comfortably furnished and appointed. Spacious home, lovely place to spend a weekend.

We will be back!

Just what we needed for our dogs, cards, mahjong, martinis and eating! We even had a bonus with the Blue Angels practicing for an upcoming show right down the bay the last three afternoons. The three bathrooms and bedrooms were perfect for our group. The proximity to attractions and farmers markets was ideal. Sitting on the dock watching the full moon rise was a great treat.

A perfect place to vacation. Immaculately kept.

We were delighted with the house, Dockside, the condition we found it in and its location. Also the weather couldn't have been more glorious (I know you didn't arrange that!) When we called with a minor problem--the fire alarm beeping--it was immediately attended to. We enjoyed meals on the deck, sunbathing on the dock, even getting in the water. It was interesting to learn that the property had once been a post office.Future visitors would find that interesting, I think. Thank you for everything, we had the best time. Lovely house in a beautiful setting

The house is just terrific. Very spacious and light. Everything in great condition, and equipped with every possible convenience, inside and out. Lovely grounds and waterfront; very peaceful setting. Temps were in the 90's for part of our stay, so a/c in the bedrooms really helped. Great local seafood-- Erika's especially recommended for lobster. Very scenic area, and nearby towns of Brunswick and Bath are well worth exploring.
