Embrace Coastal Carolina at Port O’ Call, conveniently located within the Shipyard community. Only moments away from the idyllic Atlantic coastline and surrounded by tall pines, rustic oaks, and tropical palms, the picturesque location is the perfect backdrop for any Hilton Head Island getaway. Port O’ Call’s prime location makes it an ideal starting point to partake in Hilton Head Island’s wide assortment of dining, shopping, recreational, and entertainment options.
THE SPACE
Spacious and fully equipped 2BR/2BA condo. This is a perfect location for proximity to almost anything on the island. Located in the Shipyard area which is gated, so security is very good.
Large Living room with Queen Sleeper sofa, Dining Room with Table / chairs, and a large Fully equipped Kitchen with Stove, Oven, Dishwasher, Full Sized Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Sit up Bar with stools, etc. Everything you need to prepare anything from full meals to light snacks.
King bed in Master Bedroom, 2 Twin beds in 2nd bedroom. Washer / Dryer inside your unit.
Another nice feature of this unit is the Balcony with table / chairs to enjoy your meals or morning coffee or beverages of choice in the evening.
Port O’Call offers 2 outdoor Pools and 2 outdoor whirlpool Spas. You can also enjoy access to the Sauna, Steam room, Outdoor grills, and Activity Center.
Port O’ Call provides easy access to the beach (3 blocks), due to the Guest only back gate access that takes you right onto N Forest Beach Dr. and then right to the beach.
The Shipyard community of Hilton Head Island has many paved paths inside the resort for biking and walking. Explore the 883-acre Shipyard property by bicycle along the network of walking paths, or the island in its entirety through 117 miles of shared-use pathways.
The "clubhouse" is actually located out of the Shipyard at the Coral Sands Resort on Pope Ave. If you have little ones, you need to check out the Adventure Playground on Pope - wonderful, free play area!
FREE GOLF / TENNIS BONUS:
Golf and tennis are just a stroll away — the Van Der Meer Tennis Center is next door, and the Shipyard Golf Course clubhouse is just across the street.
FREE Daily Tennis: One hour per day, up to 4 people at Van Der Meer Shipyard.
FREE Daily Golf: Free Golf greens fees for up to 4 players at Shipyard and/or Port Royal golf courses (Does not include cart fees.)
GUEST ACCESS
Your unit is private, but since this is a Resort property, amenities will be shared with other guests (Pools, Hot Tub, Spa / Sauna, etc)
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.
- Port O'Call is professionally managed and operated by Elite Resort Group (formerly known as Palmera Vacation Club). The Front Desk is staffed for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay.
- There is one additional $26 weekly fee charged by Port O' Call for Amenities usage. This fee is just a single one-time weekly charge of only $26 and applies to Owners and / or their Guests (basically everybody). I just want to emphasize this fee is NOT paid to me, it is a charge you would pay directly at the Front Desk when you Check In/Check Out.
Outside of that flat $26 additional fee, there are no other additional fees beyond what you see quoted as your total costs on the AirBnB listing.
- Two FREE parking passes are included with this unit. If you need an additional parking pass for an additional vehicle this would need to be arranged directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee.
- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket.
- If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed. If not possible to bring these items you can request them from the Front Desk.
- Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis. However, if you or your family owns and likes larger beach towels, I recommend bringing them, along with any other beach blankets / chairs / umbrellas / equipment you want at the beach. If you don’t bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, equipment, etc you can rent them.
- Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, etc are all provided. If you need more during your stay you can contact the Front Desk and they can provide them. We have never personally had an issue receiving the supplies we needed.
- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However, the Front Desk can provide a vacuum, or broom and dustpan, to use in your unit if you wanted it. Washers and Dryers are also available inside your unit for your own personal usage. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the Front Desk.
- If you or any members of your family enjoy bike riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bikes (if you have the means to do so). You can also rent bikes on HHI.
- You will see wildlife native to South Carolina, including occasional glimpses of alligators that may be lounging in the lagoon areas. So please DO NOT attempt to swim in the lagoons.
- GOLF / TENNIS BONUS: Golf and tennis are just a stroll away — the Van Der Meer Tennis Center is next door, and the Shipyard Golf Course clubhouse is just across the street.
