Disappointing
Upon arrival, the rooms were clean and the decorations were certainly impressive, however, the staircase was extremely dirty with staining and old food crumbs all over the carpeted stairs.
The pool was absolutely unacceptable. The water level was so low that the skimmer was not working, the water was green and dirty, and the patio looked very unkempt. There were old popsicle sticks left out there that we had to clean up from previous guests as well as dead grass and weeds growing through the screen. The patio had obviously not been kept up with for some time.
Maintenance did come out the following morning to treat the pool, however it remained green and cloudy for the entire second day of our trip. Needless to say, it was extremely disappointing for the children staying with us to not be able to use the pool for most of the day. It was also embarrassing for me as the host to have my guests not to be able to enjoy the patio.
That same day, we used the garbage disposal once and it broke. The entire area under the sink flooded, which we had to clean up. It took maintenance a day and a half to come out to address this. During that time, half of the sink was backed up with dirty water and old food and the dishwasher would not drain. It was both disgusting and inconvenient.
While I understand that things happen, this was absolutely unacceptable for the amount of money that we paid to stay here. I was appalled that this company never once offered to reimburse us for these issues.
