Fall house

The property inside was nice other then hair in the shower and there was nothing for my granddaughter to play with that was listed in the description also no hot tub. The outside was fenced in which I loved but on the side of the house where I parked was filled with a lot garbage and the area wasn’t the greatest area but I managed. Now as for the host everything was great. Great communication with me. I just think the listing needs updated.

Negative experience

We had reservations, traveled several hours from home, and our reservation was canceled just prior to scheduled checkin around 7pm. There was no warning, no indication that there was an issue and there was a potential of cancelation so that we could prepare. We were left with no lodging and had to pay a significant amount more due to last minute reservation. It was very stressful and costly. I find that this was very poor business approach. They could of given us a heads up in advance that there was an issue with the house not inform us in a short time before we plan to arrive. brief email short minto find h

Deceived!

The property was visually clean but overpowered with the smell of cat spray/urine through the whole entire house! The smell was so strong it made me feel very ill. This house should not be on Verbo!

Horrible got Locked out of the house code wouldn’t work had to contact owner to tell us where the key was

Was to be short 2 night stay.

Pulling into the property it is not evident it was not in a good part of town and to park onsite you need to drive down an alley full of trash. Once inside the property, we did find bed bugs. We reached out to owner right away with no reply and again when we returned home. It was not until we got VRBO involved before we heard anything from owner. Highly recommend not staying here or at any of their locations.

Trip to the Falls

House was in a sketchy looking part of town. I guess it was okay, but still made us nervous, probably why there is no outside photos. Inside was clean, sheets didn’t really fit the bed, shower curtains too cheap and falling apart. No wash cloths, no biggie picked up a couple at Walmart. Toaster oven didn’t work and only one tv in living room not in bedroom.cute place but just not what we are used too.

Some issues

The house was clean enough. The neighborhood is neglected. The cooktop was too high tech for us, we could not get it to work. The convection counter top oven was ok until we blew a fuse and then were afraid to use it. The fuse was not fixed while we were there despite the host saying it would be. The major issue was the plumbing . The upstairs toilet dripped onto the bottom of the stair case. The sewer smell was intense the more the toilets were used. I did message our host with these issues to see if he was aware but he did not reply. I would not recommend this house until the plumbing issues are corrected

First we couldn’t check in at 3:00 pm they said we have to wait til 4:00 pm but it’s listed 3:00, the neighborhood around not the best, we were up all night checking on the car outside. Not one single door opens and closes freely since was painted over 100 times but never sanded down It was very close to the falls and price was good too

Close to the Falls

The location was close to the falls and the home was clean and well appointed. The neighborhood around the property had a lot of boarded up houses and did not make a great impression in terms of feeling safe. Also, the lawn of the property had not been mowed recently so that did not help with the first impression and made the lawn unusable in terms of being outside (had a 4 year old with us so it would have been nice to have that outdoor space). That being said, there were no issues during our stay and being a quick 5 minutes to the falls was nice.

Not clean at all

Unfortunately, my experience at the property was far below expectations due to several significant issues: Location and Accessibility: The property was situated in a dubious area and was extremely difficult to locate. Communication: Despite multiple attempts to contact the host, my calls were never answered. I only received responses via messages, which was inconvenient and unhelpful. Cleanliness and Maintenance: The property was very dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned prior to my arrival. Used soap bars were left in the bathroom, indicating a lack of proper hygiene. There were insufficient toiletries provided. No dishwashing liquid was available. The oven was very dirty. Towels in the bathroom had an unpleasant odor. The tablecloth was filthy and unwashed. Some of the seats had broken legs. The toilet flush was not working. These issues made my stay uncomfortable and unacceptable. Given the severity of these problems, I believe a full refund is warranted. I am hoping to get a refund as soon as possible.

Nice little place, not great neighborhood

We stayed 2 nights with 6 people ages 13-67. The place was clean, but could use some updating. Each bedroom and the main floor had its own portable AC unit, we were there when it was pretty hot and humid and they did the trick. We did not use the kichen except for the small fridge and freezer. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with TP but i would bring my own towels and washcloths. The neighborhood seems to be in need of help, a lot of neglected and vacant properties. Its not a great looking area but we had no issues. We came home after dark both nights and was greeted by a skunk friend each time. He did not bother us at all but it might be startling if you're not used to that. All in all, it was a fine place for a home base and close to the falls.

Nice, clean and close to the Falls

The place was well maintained and clean. My family had a good time. The home was also very close to the falls and convenient. However the neighbourhood was little shady and caught us by surprise, but turned out good in the end as we had no issues.

Wonderful Stay

This place was beautiful and clean. The host was really nice and cooperative. Best part of the house was it was close to the falls which we really loved!

Pros and cons

PROS: Queen beds, couch, & chairs were all comfortable. Good water pressure in shower. Clean fridge. CONS: The listing mentioned spa/pool & spa/whirlpool. There was neither. There was no full size oven, just a countertop airfryer/oven. Limited utensils too- no sharp knives or pizza cutter. No sink stopper to wash dishes nor towels to wash or dry dishes. Difficult to find location due to it being night and no lights on to see house number.

Not as expected

The home was clean & was ok to stay. Lot more could be improved. Host did not communicate in time. Towels were wet. No paper towel in the kitchen. The TV volume did not work at all. The downstairs bathroom had a bad spot on its ceiling looked like fungus & did not feel like showering there. Overall house ok for a visit to Niagara… close enough in an ok location. Could improve a lot. The house was fine to stay for a visit.
