Notre famille apprécie la beauté et la sérénité du lac Wallenpaupack depuis des générations, et maintenant nous avons décidé de partager notre belle maison afin que vous puissiez partager la même expérience. Notre chalet de montagne est l'endroit idéal pour vous détendre en famille et profiter de la création de souvenirs au bord du lac. Remplissez vos journées d'activités amusantes comme la pêche, les tubes, la natation, la navigation de plaisance, le jet ski et tout simplement la détente! Passez la journée sur le lac, puis rentrez chez vous pour un barbecue sur la grande terrasse avec vue sur le lac. Ou continuez simplement à nager et jetez l'ancre dans l'un des nombreux restaurants au bord du lac. Il y a toujours de la place pour se garer sur leurs quais!

Maintenant, ce magnifique chalet au bord du lac a une mezzanine au 3ème étage avec deux lits queen et une salle de bain entièrement rénovée. L'étage principal abrite deux chambres, une avec un lit queen, une avec 2 lits superposés. Vous trouverez également un salon ouvert, une salle à manger et une cuisine récemment rénovée avec des lignes de vue partout, ainsi qu'une autre salle de bains. Tous les nouveaux revêtements de sol dans le salon principal cet hiver. Cette chambre spacieuse permet une vue magnifique sur le lac partout où vous regardez! Les levers de soleil emblématiques du lac Wallenpaupack ne manqueront jamais de vous couper le souffle!

Notre niveau inférieur a une autre chambre avec 2 lits simples et un lit queen, une salle de bain, une buanderie, un bar et une grande salle avec suffisamment de sièges sectionnels pour tout le groupe. Je ne peux pas oublier la salle de jeux! Mettez vos compétences de tennis de table à l'épreuve sur notre table de ping-pong!

À l'extérieur de la maison, vous découvrirez une terrasse spacieuse donnant sur le lac scintillant. Quelle journée de plage serait complète sans barbecue ni foyer pour rôtir les parfaits s'mores? Vous trouverez tout ici vous attend dans ce chalet rustique! Grâce à l'accès extérieur du niveau inférieur, vous trouverez un hamac confortable pour une détente ultime ou vous asseoir dans le bain à remous tout en regardant le soleil se lever. Trekking vers le lac est quelques étapes faciles sur notre passerelle en pierre menant directement au bord du rivage de rodage de Wallenpaupack.

We had such a beautiful weekend with family at this property! We took full advantage of all amenities provided including the hot tub and kayaks. The property was clean and spacious and we would love to visit again!

Fabulous Family Vacation Spot

Our vacation exceeded our expectations! Our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the dock and water access all week long! The house was well-appointed and comfortable for everyone. And nothing could beat the views from the living room and deck.

Beautiful location

My husband, grown sons and daughters in law, my grandson and I had a wonderful week at the lake! The location was perfect, lake was quiet and house great for us. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and on our boat. Cindy was very responsive and checked in with us often. I would definitely recommend it.

Father's Day Weekend

The cabin worked great for us. Plenty of room inside, great lake front location in a nice cove that was shielded from wind and waves longer than other parts of the lake.

Overall Great Time!

Family Vaca and it was a great time. We used the kayaks, relaxed in the hot tub and just enjoyed the get away. Cindy was great at answering all our questions!

Lovely getaway

House was clean and enough room for everyone to have their space and have a beautiful view of the lake. As far as Lake front yards it was awesome not to steep for my little ones to play on. Beautiful views it’s the perfect lake house.

Loved the location!!!

Check in was easy, the house was nice and roomy, kitchen was nicely updated and well stocked with supplies needed. Ice maker did not work and water leaked from the fridge/freezer onto the floor daily. Was disappointed that a repair person could not come the entire week. The basement was very damp and we found it uncomfortable to sleep in that bedroom, and there was no working dehumidifier. Loved the location--the area was nice to walk daily, the dock was easy to get to and use for our boat and putting the kayaks in was easy as well, and it was nice to have two kayaks available to used, the hot tub was good too.

Great family vacation

My wife and I had our 2 adult children and their spouses and our four grandchildren join us on vacation. It was great being able to dock the rented boat, fish and swim off the dock and have smores in the evening in the fire pit. The house was roomy, clean, and comfortable. We all can't wait to return! Best Lake Front House for our big family!

This was our 5th year renting this home, its ideal in so many ways. We had 4 generations from 9 to 85. The lower level is perfect for the kids. It has its own entry, bedroom, living room, TV, fridge, bathroom, games and a dryer for wet towels. The easy slope to the lake is great for my Mother. The dock accommodated 2 boats and parking accommodated 6 cars. The view is fabulous on all 3 levels, the deck is large enough for everyone to get in on the laughter and the hot tub was a bonus. Thank you Cindy, we will be back next year!

Perfect set up for a family vacation!

This is a great house on the lake. It has a excellent mix of rooms and beds that made sleeping arrangements easy for our family and friends of varied ages. The lower level with the extra fridge, ping pong table, tv, large sofa, and video games worked out nicely for our teen guests. We brought our boat and launched it at Caffrey's Recreation Area which is 5 minutes away by boat and 10 minutes by car. We had a blast boating, fishing and tubing. The house was clean , decently equipped and well maintained. Cindy the real estate manager was excellent with communication and attentiveness. She called to check in on us to see if we needed any propane and arranged a prompt pickup of trash when the cans got full. Little things like this make the difference. Thanks Cindy!

Great Weekend, no dock.

My friends and I enjoyed a beautiful and relaxing weekend at the lake, 5/21-5/23. We would stay there again and recommend it to others. Cindy was a great host and helped us secure the best property for our group. We had a mostly positive experience the entire time. The only issue we had was in hoping there would be a dock installed the weekend before memorial day, especially after multiple requests over the proceeding month, because we were bringing a boat we planned to keep tied there. In the end, we were one of the only houses with lake access in the neighborhood, and no dock installed. The dock was laying in sections in 1/2 of the usable driveway space. I understand the official rental policy doesn't guarantee a dock installed before memorial day weekend, but I just found it disappointing to have the dock sitting in the driveway instead of being in the lake. Fortunately, the neighbors were home and friendly enough to let us use their dock a couple of times! We had to use a marina to dock the boat. Overall the weekend was amazing and I can't wait to have another lakeside getaway!

Nice Place, Adequate for What We Needed, No A/C

We had a very pleasant stay. The house was very clean on the inside. While some of the house is dated in places and updated in others, it was certainly comfortable and met our needs for a group of 9 adults + late teens. The view from the dock was very nice. That said, the outside areas could use some attention (I've communicated this in detail to Cindy; other reviewers have noted the same concerns). And be aware that there is no Air Conditioning at this rental. We did have one hot evening during our rental -- it was pretty sticky all night and difficult to sleep, even with the fans running. The other nights were fine as it cooled down nicely later in the day. But I would caution potential renters to be aware that there's no A/C at this home. This could have been more clearly disclosed ahead of time. So overall, a nice place, especially on the inside. I have no hesitation in recommending this rental as long potential renters understand there's no A/C and the outside amenities could use some TLC. Cindy was super responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Disappointed: Not worth the $$

Pros: Nice lake view, nice forested neighborhood, spacious house, new kitchen and floors. Cons: House advertised as beach front. It is all rocks and was very difficult to walk on (especially for my senior parents). There was no beach. The beds were old and very uncomfortable. They sank in the middle. The bunkbeds had very little clearance between the bunks. The furniture in the bedrooms were also extremely dated. The carpet downstairs were stained and old. I was told they would be replaced this winter, but not sure how that affects our stay. There was a boat advertised. It was a small rowboat and the only oars available were canoe oars. Which is the equivalent of playing volleyball with a basketball...possible but not at all safe or fun. The rental agent (Cindy) was very quick to respond to emails, until I asked for a partial refund of the cleaning fee. Let me explain WHY, after dozens of rentals without incident, I made this request: The weekend before our trip, I was emailed a digital rental guideline. In the guideline, it explained that my family needed to pack our own linens. Not just towels, both beach and bath, but sheets as well. This was NOT in the original listing that we paid for. So, my family of NINE had to pack bedding for SEVEN beds. We ended up needing to drive another vehicle because we were short room in our cars. Luckily, we brought some blankets because the ones provided were extremely lightweight cotton blankets. Light could shine through them. The last straw was that even though we paid a sizable cleaning fee (in addition to a sizeable pet fee) we had to make and strip and launder our own beds, wash and put away all the dishes (not even leave them in the dishwasher), empty all the garbage cans and wipe down all of the counters. Again, all of this information was provided AFTER the rental was fully paid for. So, consider yourself warned if you decide to rent this chalet. (Update: Cindy offered a partial refund to compensate for having to bring our own linens and stated that she would have provided had she known it was an inconvenience. However, this was not offered to me when I questioned having to bring our own sheets, not has this refund been confirmed or posted to date.)

Great lakefront property

We’ve been vacationing at the lake for 48 years. This was our first time at this house and it accommodated us very well. Nice lakefront area and comfortable house. We plan to be back next year!

Family vacation

The property is in excellent location and accommodations were good. Excellent air conditioner in every room. We did have a refrigerator problem and one of the beds was not comfortable; however the owner addressed these to our satisfaction.

Great getaway weekend!

Great house, great location right on the Lake! House was clean and spacious. Rained all weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the lake but house lay out was able to accommodate our party of 12 inside. The owner and the agent were extremely responsive. Already recommended to a friend and can’t wait to plan next visit to hopefully experience the lake.

Pros and cons

The home was beautiful and clean. However, there are issues that need to be addressed: 1. The home states it has great Wi-Fi, however, the wifi was NOT 5G, it was half speed and spotty. Alot of our devices and streaming were constantly getting cut off. For 3 teens, this was problematic. 2. The outlets in the first floor only worked on the top, not the bottom. So if there was two outlets, the bottoms would not work 3. The dining table chandelier has no light bulbs in it. We had to resort to playing cards and games with flashlights because it was so dim in that area. 4. The home only supplies 1 13 gallon garbage bag for the entire stay. As you can imagine, with a group of 7, this quickly became a problem. Also only 3 Dishwashing tabs were provided, and only 2 bathrooms had an extra roll of Toliet paper 5. The property could stand to use some kind of mosquito control. The mosquitos would swarm and blanket you, and it made it very difficult to enjoy the outdoors Now for the good stuff... The lake is gorgeous. The views from the rooms were fantastic The hottub was perfect and suited our needs nicely. It fit 4 people very comfortably. The additional of the use of the kayaks absolutely made our trip 100x better. The beds were comfortable and clean and the home was very clean before our stay. The appliances were top notch and easy to use All in all, my group enjoy the stay and would stay again!
