À propos de cet hébergement

Séjournez dans cet incroyable lodge "Up North" situé au bord d'un lac, sur une route bordée d'arbres, à droite sur Long Lake, à Traverse City. Cet endroit est magnifique et privé sur ce lac de sports avec une zone de non-réveil en face de la maison. Maison de plain-pied, mais descend du pont pour se rendre à la cour et au lac. Fait face à l'ouest. 5 chambres et 3 salles de bain. 12 personnes.

1 reine dans la chambre principale avec son propre foyer, la deuxième chambre a 1 complète, la troisième chambre a 1 reine, la quatrième chambre a 2 lits superposés (4 jumeaux) et la cinquième chambre a un roi. Planchers de bois franc, foyer au bois, télévision par câble de base / DVD / WIFI. Grand téléviseur à écran plat dans le salon spacieux et ouvert. La deuxième salle de bain a une douche à l'italienne. Troisième salle de bain a baignoire pied griffe. Machine à laver et sèche-linge.

Un immense porche avec des chaises berçantes et des meubles en fer forgé sort du salon et offre une vue imprenable sur le lac. Profitez des pique-niques estivaux sur le pont ou sur le rivage. Beaucoup de place pour que les enfants courent et jouent. L'eau est peu profonde sur le rivage afin que vous n'ayez pas à vous soucier des plus petits. Foyer et grand gril à gaz.

10 minutes du centre-ville de Traverse City ou de l'Académie des arts Interlochen. Seulement environ 30 minutes des Dunes de l'Ours Endormi. Les couchers de soleil sont spectaculaires et se terminent parfaitement en une journée parfaite. Les vacances d'été ne font pas mieux que ça!

Climatisation centrale. Les draps sont fournis. Les chiens sont les bienvenus.
Seulement 35 miles à Crystal Mountain pour les plaisirs d'hiver.

Ceci est une location de samedi à samedi pour les meilleures semaines d'été. Courts séjours disponibles hors pointe. Les week-ends du Memorial Day et de la fête du Travail exigent trois nuits.

Traverse City Long Lake Friends Trip

Very nice location and very roomy common areas. We loved the living room and dining room set up. Great porch wrapping around part of the house and facing the lake. For swimming in warm weather, great beach, shallow sandy lake front the extends out quite a ways. The house was very well equipped with kitchen and other items.

Peace and serenity on Long Lake

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited the Forest Lodge Serenity house in late October 2024. The forest setting was wonderful and any summer crowds were long gone. The colors and the leaves on the ground added to the beauty. The vintage home makes you feel like you are in the early 1900 but it is fully renovated and comfortable. Pet friendly is also a big feature. The location is far from everywhere yet minutes from Traverse City. perfect. We will definitely return.

Bayshore weekend stay

Beautiful property on a gorgeous lake. We had more than enough space for our party of 10. The only complaint would be the location of the bathrooms. All the bedrooms were a distance from the 2 bathrooms that were situated directly across from each other. Nothing that can be changed about that so just an FYI. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Very nice stay

Beautiful property! Very spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the lake (frozen over) and we could walk a short distance to Timbers recreation area to go cross country skiing. There was plenty of snow but the roads and driveway were plowed well.

This home is large and adequately equipped. Excellent new dock and nice beach with direct access. Great location. Mattresses are badly worn and back room Queen is awful. Wraparound porch was nice w swing. Excellent lake for water skiers.

What a fantastic property! The pictures do not do this property justice. The home is absolutely beautiful. Great location. Easy ride into Traverse City to enjoy the day or an evening. Sleeping Bear Dunes is an easy trip. Highly recommended!

Pleasant Vacation Home

Back porch gives you a great view of the property and overlooking the lake. The lake is always calm even on windy days which is nice compared to Traverse Bay when you have small children. Would highly recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We usually go to Florida this time of year, but wanted to stay out of the heat this time. We are all very glad we chose this spot. The home and location were great. Beautiful lake view from the porch, dock for our pontoon,m lake swimming, fire pit each night and enjoyed Traverse City and surrounding area. Hiking, boating and fishing. First time on M22 and some very good restaraunts and small towns to experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a group of 10 with a dog and really enjoyed the space and the lodge-like feel of the house, with high ceilings and a lot of wood. We loved feeling far away, on a dirt road, but at the same time, close to Traverse City and even closer to Fresh Coast Market where you can get most anything (for a price...). The lake was great to kayak on calm days. The pictures of the house don't do justice to it.

The location was incredible with a private beach, a beautiful dock for our boat, a canoe and rowboat and a delightful fire pit right by the lake. Your home was exquisite in every way - all the rooms beautifully decorated with impressive antiques, a spacious well-stocked kitchen, a comfortable and cozy living room, a gigantic wraparound porch, and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. What a beautiful place to make lifelong memories!

Christmas Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a perfect spot for our family to celebrate Christmas. Although it snowed everyday, many inches, the company plowed everyday also, including when we received 18 inches in 12 hours. The house was warm and cozy. The house is about 15 minutes form downtown, but it took longer since the roads were so bad. In the summer it would be a perfect distance.

We stayed for three days to attend my daughter's graduation from Interlochen Arts Academy. The house was perfect for our group that included three generations of family. The property and house were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The location was ideal for attending an event at Interlochen. Renting the house was substantially less expensive that renting four rooms at a local budget hotel and much more fun to boot.

We walked into a house full of cobwebs and dust everywhere. Dishes in the cabinets that had dried food on them. There was mold in the coffee maker. We found ants and some kind of droppings that kept reappearing. Ant, mouse and termite traps within reach of the toddlers.. The boards on the boardwalk over the marsh leading to the lake were cracked and sagging and uneven. There is a row boat and canoe but no oars. There are some stone steps from the house towards the beach covered with sand, which made navigating them treacherous. One of us fell and bruised her arm badly. The beach area is small but nice and the lake is clear and huge. When we were on the water it was nice. First time I have ever had to give a bad review. Essa S.

The walk down to the lake was a little longer than we would have liked but overall it was a fantastic vacation place.We had plenty of room to live for a week with the spacious great room .The dining room table switched conveniently from a place to eat into a family gathering for evening games and cards.The large wrap around porch provided another area of outdoor gathering for morning coffee to plan the day’s activities. We would consider rebooking in the future.

Great family getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this house! The Lodge was perfect for our family getaway with our older kids. House had everything we needed in a beautiful forest setting not far from Traverse City. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and space. We would love to return next year. My only suggestion would be that the driveway be plowed. Our 4Runner had no trouble getting up the driveway but our kids parked at the bottom having vehicles without 4 wheel drive. It had snowed the night before our arrival and was a little slick.

Location Beachfront

We have stayed at this property twice in the past 8 years, we love the location and we love Long Lake. The house is set up perfectly for multiply families to stay comfortable. The home boost a beautiful wrap around deck and a fantastic beachfront with a boat dock. Absolutely gorgeous views. Unfortunately, this visit we had an issue with mice and the overall cleanness of the home. Also, the home is in need of new mattresses. When you go on vacation you want to have a good night sleep. We did bring our concerns to the attention of the property managers. Hopefully in the future the concerns will be addressed because our family would love to visit again.

Forest Lodge Serentiy is like visiting the past

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation rental provided a wonderful experience. We stayed in late October and the colors were at a peak. Situated in a deep forest setting right on the lake, one experiences seclusion and quiet with all the lake views. Better yet the home was built in the 1880s and is fully updated. The furniture and decor are antique yet there are all the modern conveniences one would expect in a great vacation rental. Plenty of outlets, efficient heating and cooling, great cable and internet, yet like living in the past. The rental is also pet friendly and on a very quiet road ideal for walking the pets and by ourselves. The lake is shallow and very clean. The sunsets were stunning. The fireplace was functional (need to supply your own wood and kindling). Kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms are like from a bed and breakfast. We will definitely stay again.
