Je aime à se lever le matin, me verser une tasse de café et assis sur le pont avant en regardant le soleil se lever sur les sommets des montagnes et l'écoute de l'océan en arrière-plan. Il est si paisible dans ce quartier merveilleux. L'océan et à mon avis la meilleure plage de Cayucos est à moins de 100 yards loin de la porte d'entrée de cette maison de plage parfaite. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est ici juste apporter votre valise et un bon livre. Vous êtes à distance de marche de tous les restaurants, boutiques et salons. Marcher sur le la plage au coucher du soleil et avoir un verre de vin est un excellent moyen de mettre fin à une autre journée parfaite dans Cayucos.

Mots-clés: Quartier calme dans les rues numérotées. À distance de marche de tout dans la belle ville côtière de Cayucos. Pêche, surf, planche de surf, aller voler un cerf-volant, prendre une randonnée, faire une sieste sur le pont, guimauves grillées sur un feu sur la plage. Le meilleur endroit sur la côte centrale de passer quelques jours ou quelques mois.

Wonderful & Relaxing Stay!

This was our first VRBO experience, and we were so impressed with the cleanliness and location of this home. Everything was just as described in the listing, and the location to the beach was exceptional! This was such a a fun week for our family that we are sure to be back!

Pet friendly close to the beach.

Thank you for a great stay. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood just steps from the beach. Very clean and well equipped. The third room off of the kitchen (utility room) was fine for my son. The pull down Murphy bed had a full size comfortable mattress. Pet friendly. Great communication with host. Would definitely stay here again.

Retirement Getaway

We went to Cayucos for a friend's retirement from teaching. The location of the property is ideal. The beach is right at the end of the street. The house is modernized with beautiful bathrooms and an upgraded kitchen. The area is very sleepy and quiet which is what we wanted. The master bedroom is big with a King size bed and a lovely bathroom with a separate freestanding tub and then a walk in shower. The second bedroom is also nice with a queen size bed and the second bathroom is also updated and nice. The bummer was the third bedroom which I wouldn't really categorize as a bedroom. It's more like a service porch or closet off the kitchen. It only has a murphy bed which we were not expecting. It would be a fine space to put kids in, but we were a little disappointed with three grown adults with one of them having that as a bedroom. There's a big tv with Netflix which was great. The town of Cayucos is close to Morro Bay, Cambria and the wineries off the 46 in Paso Robles making it a convenient spot to visit all those places in the same visit. I would recommend this property but just be aware of that third "bedroom".

Great Beach House!

Very nice property, clean and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Laid back, friendly neighborhood. Two minute walk to the public access stairs for the beach. Perfect communication with owner/property manager. We had a wonderful time, thanks again!

Great beach access & Updated kitchen

This is not your average beach bungalow. The updated kitchen and bathrooms are excellent, and the beach access made it all the better. Only inaccuracy was no hot tub even though one was listed in the amenities description.

A great experience!

The title pretty much says it - my wife and I had a great experience with our dogs at the house and in Cayucos. We’re certainly planning to return and look forward to it. For context, we live in Santa Cruz and just a few blocks away from the beach in a very walkable part of town. And our house is very comfortable and a nice place to be; we’re grateful to live in a beach community. But sometimes you need to get away to relax (and not putter around the house and finish projects). And no way do we want to do that without our dogs. The house is great - super comfortable and well-appointed. It’s actually nicer than the pictures. I wouldn’t want to be there with more than one additional couple and a kid, but it’s perfectly sized for that. If you cook, the kitchen is great, with all the kitchen appliances you’re likely to need. Seating, bedding, linens, bathrooms are all nice / comfortable. The location is nice - quiet and very close to the beach access at 16th. If you’ve not been to Cayucos, it’s a nice and very walkable community. It feels like a much smaller and cleaner Santa Cruz. It’s a 15-ish minute walk to a decent, dog-friendly restaurant. And 20-ish minute walk to good coffee and another 5 to the pier. There’s a handful of dining and breakfast / coffee options. If you’re coming with dogs, there’s nowhere at the house to sensibly or appropriately, uh, take care of business. So know that you’ll need to take a walk around the block when that needs to happen.

Like Home!

Melanie’s beach house was wonderful! We were so pleased to have two king size beds that were very comfortable, two beautiful bathrooms and a lovely kitchen to cook in. Meeting our adult kids in Cayucos was perfect! They love to surf so perfect spot!! We were all very comfortable. We used the sunny front patio often and loved the quick access to the beautiful beach. Love the sweet town of Cayucos and took two awesome hikes, one walking distance from the house up a hill which gave us a great view of the town and ocean and another one very close by car around the reservoir! Location of the house is excellent! Short drive to groceries and Morro Bay! In town for CalPoly graduation and although we went back and forth often it was an easy drive. We also finally toured Hearst Castle and loved it! So much to do and see in the area so the list goes on! But the vibe of Cayucos and the comfort of the house made me keep referring to it as “let’s go home now” at the end of each day! On top of it all, the neighbors were so welcoming! Thank you Melanie for a well stocked home and an excellent experience! Highly recommend your house!

Another Fantastic Stay

So glad to return to this lovely property - exactly as described and pictured, and you are 90 seconds from a long beautiful beach with views down to Morro Bay! Lovely spaces indoors, well stocked kitchen, and super comfortable indoors and out. Our dog is ready to return, thanks again Melanie!

Relaxation, so close to the beach.

Cutest cottage just a short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood, and easy access to highway. Loved the front patio with fire pit, and all the modern finishes in the house. It had everything we needed for a great getaway!

Excellent remodeled home with an even better location

This VRBO is exactly as advertised. Communications with the owner were easy and she responded quickly to questions. The house is less than a block from beach access yet on a quiet side street. Cayucos has quaint little restaurants and you are just down the road from Morrow Bay and and minutes away from San Luis Obispo. We loved it.

We had a great time in Cayucos. The house was very clean upon our arrival and it had everything we needed. It was very close to the beach and great hiking trails.

Happy place

This was our 6th stay at this beautiful property. The kitchen is well equipped and well designed. Not your typical rental as beds, linens, appliances, bath and bed design top notch quality. We immediately move into vacation mood because Melanie has made her home a very happy place.

House Perfect

Wonderful Beach House

Lovely, comfortable, fully equipped home which is a 3 minute walk to the beach in a very friendly neighborhood. The owner, Melanie, is very accessible and accommodating. We had a wnderful 3 week stay.

A wonderful property!

Really enjoyed our stay at Melanie s place. Very well stocked and quite roomy. Loved that it was walking distance to the beach. Our dog loved it. The neighborhood is very peaceful and close to downtown Cayucos. Would definitely stay again!

My father in-law built this home in the 1960's. My husband grew up coming to Cayucos as a child and our three children spent many of there childhood summers here with me while there father would spend weekends with us. It has truly changed very little in 50 years which is one of the best things about Cayucos. Very safe. I still spend alot of time between here and the bay area which is where I live, only now I find myself here alone more but love it as much as ever.
