Nice Area and Comfy beds

We enjoyed our stay and the rental was clean with towels. The beds were comfy, the extra room AC was also really nice. The front door glass was already broken and looked to be that way for awhile. The kitchen is not well equipped but was not an issue for us since we planned to eat out. The 2 bedroom both had kings, the walk thru roof had a twin trundle bed. Overall we would stay here again!

Quilt show

You need to check your AC the filter in the front room on the return air grill was completely clogged. The humidity in the front of the house is awful needs a little work. The battery on the smoke detector was dead.

Worst property ever booked

This was absolutely the worst place I have ever booked! The entire house inside and out are is serious disrepair and rundown. The property inside and out look absolutely nothing like the pictures. We looked around and left the place within 30 minutes. No way was I going to stay in that mess. Multiple missing tiles in the kitchen; bugs in the refrigerator; no working living room lights; one bed did not have a top sheet at all, only a worn out blanket; the other bed’s top sheet had multiple large holes and tears in it, the pillow cases had big gaps in the seams; the closets had stuff in the floors; nasty questionable stains on the chair in the bedroom; central air not in all of the house. We got there past our check in time and a lady and her pit bull dog were “cleaning” the house. Zero response from the owner after we got there. VRBO zero help! If zero or -1 were an option for a rating that is what I would give this property!

Nice house, geeat neighborhood

Not an impressive property but certainly suited our needs. Nice ,quiet neighborhood right off 610. If you stay i recomend brunch at Millie's around the corner.

Horrible stay

Property not as described, needs a lot of updates because tiles missing, ceiling has holes in it, parts of the house hot no central a/c, pest/dead roaches around the house, no very clean, and glass to front door broken I felt really unsafe.

Amazing stay!

The owner of the property was super kind and had great communication. My dad was able to stay here after flying in from Colorado and he absolutely loved it. Would definitely book again.

Quiet and Upscale Location

Even though we didn’t spend much time at the property it was still a great experience given the location it was at, tucked away in a quiet luxurious neighborhood.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

First off, the outside of the house had not been kept clean. As you entered the house, the animal urine/waste smell takes your breath away. There were dead and living pest throughout. Also, the refrigerator was still full of the previous guests belongings. There were no towels, very little tissue, and the water pressure was very low. To top it off, the host was unresponsive to any messages, and the VRBO representatives were not easy to deal with. If possible, I would gladly give this stay a ZERO.

Misleading

this property was poorly maintained, dirty, and had broken tiles just covered by rugs. The host was unresponsive for hours. The house had no power (due to storms in the area in the previous week) but this was not disclosed to us. We drove 14 hours to stay here and arrived to no power on a 90 degree day. When we finally got ahold of the host hours later, he said that multiple guests have also dealt with no power that week. Then you need to disclose that prior to your next guests arriving! We did recieve a refund and found a nearby hotel. Vrbo claimed they would pay for our hotel stay due to our awful experience but its been almost 3 weeks now and I'm still not getting responses from vrbo despite having their money back guarantee in writing. I hope no one else deals with these issues!

Disappointed

The property needs some upkeep, due to heavy rain the door from the kitchen leaked a small lake, the first night we had an water leak under the bathroom vanity, owner did send a plumber and was repaired, ceiling fan in the day bed room had no bulb, I purchased a bulb and tried to install but found out there were no threads on the bulb socket, front door doesn’t close completely leaving a gap to allow bugs or small critters in, patio furniture pads are basically destroyed not really useable, had to message the owner for WiFi password took almost a day for a response, only 1 tv remote had batteries in them, no paper towels, no hair dryer, storm door on back bedroom doesn’t close & lock, the 2 bedroom doors did not close completely, the closet door in the room with the day bed did not close either, had to purchase more toilet paper also, I not sure of VRBO’s home requirements to rent but this home needs to be retired!!

It got the job done but..

Best part was comfortable beds. Beyond that, the positives dwindle. It got the job done for a place to sleep and shower but we didn’t not want to spend time there. Although we realize we arrived a few days after a storm, we were surprised by the broken glass door. More shattered pieces of glass fell off each time we closed the door. We could only sweep the glass into a pile as there was no dustpan. The two dead cockroaches we found may have be unremarkably common to some guests, when coupled with an unclean shower it seemed less forgivable. We reached out via message to the host but in the end had to call to get a response. He was going to come to tape the door and drop off a dust pan, but never did. I tried to be kind and start towels in the laundry when we checked out, but couldn’t get the machine to start. He mentioned significant storm damage on another property— which is entirely possible based on the extend of damage in the neighborhood. For this reason, benefit of the doubt compels me not to rate it lower.

Bitter sweet

The Host Micheal was so kind and thoughtful. Unfortunately there was a bad Storm the weekend we stayed. The power was out in the neighborhood when arrived. Micheal still made accommodations for us despite the unforeseen circumstances. He was extremely professional I definitely recommend His home.

Birthday Stay

I stayed here for my birthday and I had such a good time. The decor was a little dated and it was a bit dirty inside the fridge and the bathroom and it had a strange smell upon arrival but I ended up enjoying my stay. It doesn’t look exactly like the pictures but it is still a decent place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.

Family trip

So arriving to the property, the key wasn’t in the lock box. I had to call the host more than 10 times in order for him to answer the phone. The cleanest of the house was not to my standards. I had to go buy my own clean supplies and come through and re-clean the house. The master bathroom did not have any plugs for me to be able to plug up my flat iron to do my hair. The patio furniture was disgusting. It was strawberries or blueberries or whatever the berries was that was on the trees all in the parking lot or were we park which means it was on the bottom of our shoe we were track it all in the house and just a lack of communication from the host I’m rating this house 3.5

Good loaction

Beds are very comfy. House was clean and bedding was fresh. Trees in back yard have grown up quite a bit since pictures but it was still a nice backyard sitting area. May need to change cushions out on the outdoor furniture as a pet has chewed them. But they are still usable.

Great stay for a small family

The house was clean and in a great neighborhood but with easy access to major roads. Checking in was super easy and the house was cozy for an overnight stay with our three toddlers.

New years!!!

The wife's brother lives in Houston, so we went with her two brothers and our daughter. Enjoyed the convience to downtown,and All the fun events! The house was great! Clean quiet neighborhood.

Big space and a lot of room

Great impression from the outside and inside. Unfortunately, the key we were given to enter the property did not work. It was hard to contact the owners. Once we did, we waited about 45 min for her to arrive while we were waiting inside our car. The property inside was visually appealing, it was clean, lots of room. The shower head in one of the bathrooms was a problem, as well as the stools in the dining table. We do consider coming back.
