Diane was fabulous! She was always communicating with us when we needed it. She left us a birthday surprise from local bakery. Cottage is warm, cozy and we didn't want for anything extra. Can't wait to go back.

Lovely cottage!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Flying Cloud. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and cozy, and has a beautiful gas fireplace in the living room which kept the room warm and inviting. Diane, our host, was very helpful, she suggested places to eat and wineries to visit. We will certainly be returning for another visit!

Summer Getaway

My husband and I stayed at the Flying Cloud in mid-summer, and enjoyed this charming cottage and its location. The town is fun to explore with many shops and restaurants, as well as scenic vineyards to tour nearby. Diane was very responsive. We would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Weekend

The property was in close proximity to the village of Niagara on the Lake as well as easy to get to other areas. The cottage was perfect. Comfortable and clean and the hostess was fantastic in responding to any questions we had. We plan on staying there again when we get the chance.

Winter Getaway

The cottage was warm, cozy and perfect! We enjoyed the fireplace and relaxing in the evenings with a glass of wine. It was very conveniently located for us to enjoy the area and visit many of the local wineries. We look forward to returning in the future!

Perfect Location

We happily spent a long weekend at the Flying Cloud Cabin in Niagara on the Lake. It is so comfy and cute. Every detail was top notch. Comfortable beds and furniture. Clean. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Even many books and magazines to enjoy while sitting in front of the gas fireplace. Close enough to walk down to the Lake front.

Mother/daughter retreat

The Flying Cloud could not be any more adorable if it tried. Absolutely everything you could need is provided to make your stay perfect...and I mean everything! Diane was very attentive and provided excellent communication with us at all times. Great recommendations for places to go and for dinner. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a "bread" roll (for lack of better explanation of this delicious item!..Budapest Bakery is where it's from in town. We came home with 6 pieces) Thank you Diane for making this a perfect mother/daughter weekend for us!

Cottage in NOTL

We had an amazing girls trip visiting this quaint town. The cottage is an awesome 20 minute walk from Main Street and we did it twice a day getting in our exercise. The walk takes you along the lakeshore and the gorgeous homes and golf course. It had everything we needed, beds and linens were lovely. Thx for a great place to hang our hats Diane!

Flying Cloud—where relationships are nurtured

Greeted by a welcoming porch light, freshly cut hydrangeas and the glow of candles, we entered Flying Cloud and were embraced by the warmth of a personally well curated space that honored the history of the home and community. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips including reminders to watch the sunset, lists of favorite places to eat and drink, as well as notes about local happenings! We will look back on this stay fondly and look forward to booking again.

Flying Cloud NOTL

Wonderful cottage in NOTL, close to historic town centre and lake. The cottage is beautiful inside and out and we felt totally welcomed by the host. A bottle of wine and treats were waiting for us upon arrival. The cottage is fully stocked with lovely linens, toiletries and everything to make our stay comfortable. This is a place we’d love to return to time and again! A true home away from home!

Bucket List Trip made in Heaven

This property is extraordinary. So warm and inviting and everything you would need to feel at home. 200 steps to the lake with incredible sunsets. Host is readily available and happy to book wine tours, dinner reservations and anything you may need. Comfy beds and linens fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. What more could a person want!! Being a seventh generation native to Niagara-on-the-Lake, & having grown up here, I have experienced the vast changes from a sleepy hollow to a thriving tourist town. One aspect that remains to this day within our village, is the historic beauty... accompanied by the breath-taking geographic location, and the warm, friendly sense of community.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Situated on one of the prettiest streets in one of the "Prettiest Towns in Canada", I instantly fell in love with this enchanting cottage.....the dark green woods shading it & the sweet smell of cedar upon entering the front porch. A feeling of peace & tranquility swept over me & I knew I was home.

The minute walk to the ever changing lake & magnificent sunsets make the Flying Cloud unique in every season !
Chautauqua was always, & remains to be the "magical" cottage area of town. At the turn of the century it housed the Chautauqua Ampitheatre in the centre hub of it's spoked street design....providing live theatre & entertainment to cottagers, town folk, & tourists throughout the summers.
