Not the Best Stay
I really wanted to like this place (the price and location were great), but unfortunately, it fell short in several ways. When we arrived, it was clear that the unit had not been properly cleaned—there were hair ties, hairs, and dust bunnies on the carpet, and an odd powdery residue on the dining chairs. The apartment also had a strong mildew smell that never really went away.I booked for three people, but there were only two towels provided. While the host was kind in their responses, it took quite a while to get an extra towel, so my friend had to dry off with the bath mat. The shower also didn’t drain properly, leaving us standing in stagnant water.On top of that, several outlets didn’t work, and the noise from the unit above was excessive—people walking and talking loudly well into the night. While that’s not necessarily the host’s fault, something as simple as a fan or white noise machine would have helped.Overall, the location was convenient, but the lack of cleanliness, maintenance issues, and noise made the stay less than ideal.
