Cadre idyllique et isolé pour une escapade tranquille de la ville. La maison principale a deux chambres avec lits king et queen, cuisine, deux salles de bain complètes. Den a un canapé-lit avec matelas queen. Cottage avec piscine comprend kitchenette, salle de loisirs, terrasse grillagée, salle de bain complète, grande salle de télévision et espace pour s'étendre. Les deux bâtiments sont climatisés. Nouveau gril à gaz, belle terrasse de piscine en brique / ardoise pour un ensoleillement privé. Terrains boisés sur trois côtés, avec clôture de 6 pieds sur toute la cour arrière. Idéal pour famille ou trois couples. Trois minutes à pied de la plage privée dans une direction. Cinq minutes à pied d'une marina à service complet dans l'autre sens. 90 minutes de Manhattan, mais un monde loin de l'agitation. Endroit idéal pour se détendre, passer du temps avec la famille et les amis et profiter de la vie telle qu'elle était censée être. Profitez des dizaines de vignobles de North Fork au sein d'un lecteur facile. Séjour minimum de deux semaines requis par le canton de Southold.

Accommodating hosts

This is a wonderful property. Very clean, enjoyable backyard with plenty of space and nice pool. The cottage is adorable and a great bonus space. Sean and Colleen are great hosts, very responsive.

Host was very friendly and available. Home was clean, pool was a major plus. We had everything we needed for a lovely week in Mattituck. Easily accesible to vineyards, farms and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Ultimate staycation

Although only 90 minutes from the city, Shawn and Colleen's home felt like an oasis many miles away. Our family ranges in age from 4 to 75 and we were able to hang out together comfortably to bbq or watch a movie, or spread out for a bit of quiet time (or a nap). The pool was also a life saver during a late summer heat wave. We can't wait to return next year!

Family get together

It was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy our little family reunion. The pool wasn’t open yet, and the weather was a little chilly, but the spacious back deck was a great place to gather for an afternoon glass of wine. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach area on the bay and less than a 5 minute drive to a grocery store, drug store, restaurants, and more.

Beautiful house, lots of space, and really close to the center of Mattituck

We had a wonderful time staying at the house! Great common spaces, lots of places for people to sleep, great kitchen with lots of cutlery, and it was really conveniently located near the center of Mattituck. One slight inconvenience was that there wasn’t heat for the cottage (no fuel), and so it was a bit chilly at night, but definitely manageable. Definitely recommend others to stay at this house!

Early season fishing trip

Nice, quiet, well appointed home in a great neighborhood. Never got the wifi to work which may have been due to area issues and some tech glitch, but hosts were nice enough to discount our added night due to bad weather that extended our planned stay. Having spent time in Mattituck when young, it was great to see all the changes and revisit some favorite spots. Would stay again if/when we decide to return to L.I.

Like a Summer Resort without all the extra guests!

Marie had a wonderful time at your property. The property and the grounds were well-maintained and the pool was much larger than we had anticipated. The house was very clean and the master bed was extra large and so comfortable. We also enjoyed the local restaurants- especially Case's Place and Legends. Shawn was especially helpful with any questions we had. We hope to be back next summer!

Great location and pool!

The house is in a great and convenient area - right down the block from a nice sand beach (and beautiful Camp Mineola), near Love Lane, wineries and other beaches. The pool and backyard are fantastic! We spent our days relaxing by the pool, BBQing and taking walks down to the beach for a swim. Their are loads of fun pool toys as well. There is also a bocci court in the backyard which was a lot of fun. The main house was very nice and roomy for our family (2 adults and 1 child) and it was great to have 2 full bathrooms. The house has everything you need, including a well stocked kitchen and pool toys. Shawn and Colleen were very accessible and helpful when a couple of questions came up. We had a wonderful time at this house!

Unforgettable family vacation home!

We've been vacationing on the North Fork for several years, and Shawn and Colleen's home is by far the best house we've stayed in. The pool was a lifesaver-- my kids spent about 8 hours a day swimming and then slept like logs every night. We played ping-pong in the (giant) pool house and ate a grilled dinner every night on the deck. Of course, we left the house a few times for some Magic Fountain ice cream. The grown-ups played bocce while the kids roasted marshmallows. The beach is a short walk down the road. Swimming in the Peconic Bay is delightful-- it's shallow and fairly warm, with little fish swimming everywhere. The house is beautiful, perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay with the whole family. We definitely plan to come gain next year!

Fun, beautiful vacation!

This was the perfect place for our family and friends for a week in the summer. So nice to have a relaxing vacation with our newborn and a couple friends. My husband's parents were happy staying in the pool house so they had their own space. It was so great to have the option of pool and beach. Loved lying out, playing, BBQing all day by the pool with walks to the small beach for a little dip in the bay. It was also nice to walk to the marina around the corner. The location is great for wine tasting trips and Love Lane. And of course all the great farms and restaurants in the area. The dining room was nice if it was too hot out for lunch or dinner and loved having a big den with the TV to chill out in. Shawn was very responsive and helpful, thank you for sharing your home with us! We already planned our next trip there at the end of the month and hope to come back again soon after that!

Everything you want in a North Fork house....

We just had such a wonderful time at Shawn and Colleen's lovely home. It truly feels like they have welcomed you into their home, and it is very easy to love being on the North Fork. The house is spotless, comfortable and perfect for a friends or family get away. It provides even more space than we expected, given the pool house. It truly is everything that you want. We spent many days walking to the bay (enjoying the private beach), and then back to the pool in the afternoon. The outdoor space is wonderful! Plus, we ended up tossing on sneaks, and walking to Love Lane Market (~1.0 miles), which is fantastic. The house is very conveniently located to Love Lane and all it has to offer. Of course, the house is also perfectly located to get to many of the prime wineries. My 3 year old nephew said it best, when he said, "I want to come back to the North Fork, AND I want to come back to this exact house!". ENJOY!

The quiet beach just a three minute walk, the pool, deck, and cottage provide space to enjoy precious moments with friends and family. Just a short walk to Mattituck Village with coffee shops, restaurants, antiques, boutiques, and more.
