Grill up your catch of the day in the covered barbecue/picnic area or work out in the beachside fitness room. You’ll enjoy the spectacular sunsets from your private balcony and have a vacation to remember! The location of Sterling Sands can't be beat, it's right across the street from The Track Family Fun Park, with mini-golf and go-kart racing, and within minutes from numerous shopping and dining options, including walking distance to the Back Porch.

Too many disappointing issues.
We spent FOUR hoursin the parking lot waiting for VRBO to reach the manager for our entry code...no apology. I read that another couple had a similar experience. The sofas, rug and dining chair covers were soiled. The comforter and shams in master bedroom appeared to have been washed many times or just needed replacement to freshen the room, though I have been told they were new in April. Toaster was broken and the pole in lazy susan was loose. Plastic shower curtain for 2nd bedroom was so ful of soap and mildew that I washed it...too many issues to give this a great rating. I sent several messages to the managers, Barry and Sherry and they never responded directly to us. We have rented via VRBO and never had such a negative experience, and we stayed for 3 weeks. I believe has new managers, now. We have rented via VRBO for years and never had such an experience.

Great wrrkemdy
The location and property are great. Check in was stressful as check in was at four and the paperwork says you will receive check in codes two days in advance (even though they won’t be active til 4 on day of check in). One hour before check in and we still had heard nothing and had no way of contacting anyone except through the app. The codes were finally sent a few minutes after four. As mentioned in other posts the towel rod in the guest bath and the TP rod in the master bath need to be fixed. Overall I would stay there again. It was just a stressful check in process based on what the paperwork told us.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The view was amazing!! The condo was clean and spacious. I loved having beach toys, chairs and the wagon available without us having to pack them and bring them to beach. I was also pleased with having beach service, that was very nice. We would usually rent chairs and an umbrella but with this unit it was included. Thank you fir sharing your beautiful condo with us!!

The owner and unit was fabulous! We would definitely stay here again. The unit was clean and stocked. Views are priceless. The only negative would be that we never received any check in information from VRBO. We had to bother the owner to get information.

Our family stayed here for fall break and it was wonderful! Great location right on the beach, and very close to other activities when a little cold front came through. Property managers provided all info upfront in a very clear manner which made check-in a breeze. Everything was as-advertised and we didn’t have a single complaint. We would definitely stay here again!

Closet full of beach items!
Having an entire closet full of any beach items you need was key for this trip! So many boogie boards, chairs, toys, noodles, etc! Overall the condo was a perfect location and beautiful. There were a few items that were broken/not repaired correctly (toilet paper holder falling off the wall, sliding door with a hole in it) - but besides that a great stay.

Great location, beautiful views. This is a super cute and spacious rental. Our family of 6 had plenty of room. The beach view from the balcony was gorgeous. I would highly recommend. Price range was perfect and the quality of the entire stay exceeded our expectations. I hope to come back soon. (Bring paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags as we ran out quickly.)

First time ever coming to Destiny and if I could give a 10 out of 5 I would. Unit was perfect view was amazing and location was exactly what we needed, walked to everything never got in our car once. Staff was helpful. Chair service was amazing. Not a single bad thing I could say! We will be back

Great location adequate beach condo.
It probably needs a good deep cleaning the towel bar was off of the guest bathroom wall and under the sink. Light bulb out in Kitchen ceiling. Deck sliding glass doors need repainted, missing screen door for living room. Toilet paper holder in master bathroom almost to fall off the wall. Club chair in living room has no bottom spring support. Tile floors were sticky to our shoes upon arrival. But we had a nice time at the beach great location nice pool wonderful beach all was good.

Condo was very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again as the location is amazing for the kids to walk around to eat and shop. Views from the balcony r nice as u look straight out to the ocean. Beach service is very friendly. Only complaint I would have is the constant monitoring of wristbands. But also understand it.

Perfect beach getaway
We have stayed at several of this owner’s properties before, and we are always satisfied. We like that Sterling Sands is a smaller bldg that offers a short walk to the unbeatable white sands and pristine water of the Gulf, a beautiful pool, and one free beach service with the unit. This was our first time in this particular unit, and the master bedroom ceiling fan wasn’t it working, but the owner had someone come by right away. We ended telling him that since his AC worked so well we were OK without the fan and could they wait until we left, so it was fine. Our beach trips are my family’s favorite relaxing trip, and we look forward to staying in one of this owner’s units again!

Birthday Getaway
This was an amazing vacation in an excellent condo. Breathtaking views from the balcony. The beach service chairs and umbrellas were the perfect setup. The rolling cooler was almost impossible to pull through that beautiful soft sand, but not that big of inconvenience. Thanks for sharing your condo for our birthday vacation...can't wait to return for a longer stay next time!!!

The property was just as described. Ideal location for us. Right off the elevator made taking luggage and groceries up much easier. I personally love a unit above the pool so I can keep an eye on my family if I choose to stay in. The view of the beach is fantastic. Master shower was so nice and the bed was comfortable. Kitchen was stocked well. Washer and dryer were full size and nice for a family of 6. Sterling Sands is always a nice complex and we enjoy staying here and have rented units from Barry and his wife on multiple occasions. They are great and so easy to communicate with. We will definitely be planning a return trip for next summer (if not before).

Sterling Sands
We have stayed at Sterling Sands before. We like this property as it is right on the beach and smaller than some of the other high rise units. Good location to most restaurants and activities. Unit was as pictured and overall very clean. Only minor inconvenience we had was we had to run the dryer several times to get clothes throughly dry but that was not a big deal to us. Overall I would recommend this property and would stay again!
