Si vous aimez les vues sur l'océan, les brises et les sons ... restez ici. L'océan est omniprésent. Chaque chambre a une vue incroyable. Une abondance de fenêtres donne au chalet une sensation lumineuse et aérée. Cuisiner dans la cuisine, lire sur la (les) terrasse (s) ou même travailler au bureau est un plaisir tranquille avec les vagues au loin.

Une courte promenade sur le chemin de l'une des plus belles plages privées de Cape Cod, vous êtes également juste en face de sentiers de randonnée incroyables à travers le parc national du bord de mer. Nichée au milieu des broussailles et des rosiers, la maison se dresse au sommet des dunes surplombant l'océan.

La maison se compose d'une chambre principale avec lit king-size, d'une chambre de bureau avec deux lits jumeaux et d'une chambre d'hôtes avec un lit queen-size (6 couchages). Il y a deux salles de bain complètes (une avec une belle baignoire en fonte). Il y a une cuisine complète à deux éviers avec une gamme de qualité professionnelle, un salon, une salle à manger (tous avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan à 180%), une grande terrasse, une douche extérieure fermée (avec vue), une terrasse au 2ème étage, un porche et une belle cour avec pique-nique zone - toutes avec une vue panoramique.

Réveillez-vous au lever du soleil sur l'eau et dîner en regardant le coucher du soleil sur la forêt! Regardez les baleines sortir du pont pendant que vous mangez et laissez le bruit des vagues vous endormir! Faites du vélo au magasin Wellfleet General ou au PB Boulangerie pour obtenir des produits de boulangerie frais et des produits, puis travaillez ces boogies calories, surf, surf ou randonnée! Profitez d'un massage l'après-midi sur la terrasse privée donnant sur l'océan ou faites simplement une sieste sur la plage! Et une courte randonnée à travers les bois vous amène à l'un des célèbres étangs de bouilloire d'eau douce de Wellfleet pour une baignade rafraîchissante avant le dîner!

WE had a great time. It was the first time my 18 month old grandson played in the ocean and he loved it-even though the water was 60 degrees! The stairs to the beach were a little precarious for us old folk- but doable.

Fantastic stay. Beautifully appointed house with views to die for! Beach access was so easy and the beach itself was nearly empty and so clean. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Very relaxing and we hope to be back soon.

Ocean views for dinner

This house was just what we were looking for. The views are amazing and the house is wonderfully done. The kitchen is a delight and as well stocked as home. Meals are at a lovely table looking out onto the ocean. The beds are comfortable and come in a helpful array of sizes. But the real unsung hero is the bath - placed at a pair of windows and under a skylight. What a joy. We will be back.

Amazing beach experience! Magical views, sand, seals and more!

This house has it all! We have come to Wellfleet many years now and we couldn't have asked for anything more! The house, itself, has all your needs - a fully-equipped kitchen, outdoor shower, lovely in house "rain-dripping showers," comfy beds, internet and tv access (we were avid watchers of the 2018 World Cup), and so much more! In terms of outside, it was such rich ecological landscape - magical views (sunrise especially with all the bright colors), more gray seals than you can count, sandy beaches, rock/shell collecting, nearby walkable fresh water ponds and bike paths. It was such a wonderful trip for our family (including grandparents) that we would highly, highly recommend to any traveller looking to experience the wonders of the Cape Cod National Seashore!

Beautiful home with amazing views

This updated house is a step above the typical rental and the ocean views can't be beat. The owner takes great care of the house and was extremely responsive to questions. The beach is just down a small road and some steps. Warning for parents of small children: If you're not familiar with Wellfleet or the Cape, this is an oceanside beach that is fairly steep at this spot with big waves. In fact, there were surfers in this exact location most days that we went there. Your young kids probably won't be playing directly in the waves except during low tide when it flattens out a bit. But this is hardly a problem given the proximity to many other Wellfleet beaches and ponds. Even with our young kids, we still visited this beach every day to walk, play in the sand, or look at the stars.

We loved this beautifully-designed and thoughtfully equipped house, with exceptional ocean views that enchanted us again and again. To jump the salt waves in the morning on a perfect beach & swim in a crystal-clear kettle pond in the afternoon, grill & eat on the breezy deck or dine out a short drive away at Wellfleet’s Wicked Oyster; then fall asleep with the sounds and scent of the sea & wake to another sunrise shimmering over the Atlantic…it was summer distilled into a memorable week. In late June, with temperatures reaching 84 on the hottest day, but mostly 70s, we did not miss A/C.

Captain's cottage

Magical spot on Ocean View. To say the least the view is spectacular. This is our fifth year at Itty Bitty. Every day is just perfect rain or shine. The original was special with old footsteps and memories. The new is certainly more comfortable and convenient. Everything you would need to have a great vacation : an excellent kitchen, great rain showers , TV services, all necessary equipment, great bedrooms upstairs with adjoining porch lookout and of course the very best ever outdoor shower with a view of the ocean. We have thoroughly enjoyed every visit to Wellfleet staying at Itty Bitty. Scott has always been gracious and accommodating in arrangements for our visits. Wish we were there! Truly a magical place. I didnt want to leave .. ever.

This place is newly (re)built, and as such is perfectly designed to capture and enjoy the ocean views in as many ways as possible. It is definately geared towards owner occupied so has better than your usual rental type materials, kitchen, et al. It is a short down hill walk to the beach, a short drive to Wellfleet, and just an all around great place to be. We hope to return but alas the availability is limited. I dont want to recomend it because i want it all to myself, and of course, i cant recomend it enough. Enjoy it if you can.

Perfect Place for a Relaxing Cape Cod Vacation

We spent 5 days in this lovely cottage. It's beautiful and simple---perfect for a family vacation or for a few couples traveling together. We loved the thoughtful amenities such as Sonos sound system, multiple internet connections, well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and even binoculars to look for sea life. Although weather for our mid-May week was cool, the location was perfect for walks on the beach, exploring Provincetown and the national seashore parks, and just hanging out together playing games.The stairs to the beach were out of commission while we were there, so getting down to the beach would be challenging for anyone not fairly agile. The nearby French bakery was a pleasant bonus and we enjoyed croissants for breakfast several mornings.

Fantastic

Wonderful property with views of the ocean from every room, a path down to the beach and cross-the-road proximity to national seashore trails. Radiant floor heating system and fireplace were great for our visit over the winter holidays. Owner very responsive. Highly recommend!

Views! Views! Views!

The moment you walk into this cottage you are surrounded by ocean views! The kitchen was well equipped and very close to the beach. We loved the property and are already planning our next trip.

A rare find on the Cape Cod Seashore!

We were looking for an "ocean front" property and found it in Scott's place. The views were incredible and the accommodations first rate. At first we were a little nervous about the linen rental but Furies had them waiting for us at the front door. Thanks for a great stay Scott!!

My family stayed at this house for two weeks, and they were fantastic. I am still missing the view from the deck. My kids loved their upstairs bedroom nooks. The half bath between the two bedrooms worked perfectly for us. The walk down to the beach was so convenient. We never even bought a beach pass. Can't wait for next year!

Best one ever!

"Best one ever!" is what we exclaimed as we first walked into this beautiful home. Our family has been coming to the cape for many years, and this rental was absolutely our most breathtaking stay. We thoroughly appreciated the amazing views from almost every spot in the house as we had some chilly April days during our visit. You can't quite beat curling up with a good book while looking out over one of Cape Cod's most beautiful beaches. The beach access was obviously another highlight...many walks on the beach were enjoyed! The house was very well cared for, extremely clean and thoughtfully appointed...we were very comfortable here. It was also a pleasure to deal with the owner. Scott was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return one day ourselves! It is the perfect spot to enjoy all that the Cape has to offer.

I am an engineer who adores the ocean and anything nautical. This home exemplifies what I love: a simple, quiet existence with a view of the sea. Whether it's a sunny summer day, or a raging Nor'easter, this is where I want to be.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I intend to retire in this house and, until I can afford that, I'm renting it out so that others can enjoy this incredible seaside cottage.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This cottage is newly rebuilt in the spirit of the original cottage that was first built in 1905 by Captain Lorenzo Baker, just to the south at a site near the Marconi wireless experiments, and was moved here a few months later, becoming the first home on Ocean View Drive. This little spot has seen a lot over the years.

It is located overlooking a hollow to the sea, and the panoramic view of the ocean is breathtaking. One can hear and see the shore break, as well as whales playing as they migrate. At night the quiet of the woods is calming, and starry nights are serene. This location is very special.
