Grande, spacieuse, 'comme à la maison' sur 10 acres boisés. 18 couchages dans des lits confortablement avec des options de couchage supplémentaires. Deux salles de bain complètes. Faune à l'extérieur des murs de fenêtres. Grande terrasse attenante et patio avec mobilier et foyer. Le bois peut être récolté directement sur le site. Foyer au bois à l'intérieur pour les invités d'hiver. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec des plats, utencils, cafetière, grille-pain, ustensiles de cuisine, plaque chauffante, crockpots et machine à glaçons. Passez la journée sur Castle Rock Lake ou County Park (moins de 2 miles), dans Wisconsin Dells (20 minutes en voiture), ou au Northern Bay Golf Course (5 miles), sur la route de VTT à proximité ou des sentiers de motoneige. Dînez dans une mijoteuse en attendant votre retour. Castle Rock Lake dispose de 8 restaurants / bars avec des jetées publiques pour garer votre bateau, des groupes live pendant la journée et du beach-volley. Profitez de ski, wake / knee boarding, nager et pêcher. Jet-skis, bateaux pontons et autres équipements disponibles à la location à proximité de la marina. Lancement de bateau public à proximité. Family girls weekend

Visited for a girls weekend my sisters and cousins and aunts. Listing was great for a larger group like we had. Everything on the posting was accurate. Very easy communication and check in and check out processes. Great property to stretch our legs and a great area to find some nice hikes. Perfect for the weekend.

Wonderful stay

The location was perfect for our family Christmas with everyone coming from different areas. The property is very close to a nature area that we were able to cross country ski and walk too. The home is stocked with almost everything you’d need, and the owners are very responsive and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A College Roommate Reunion

There were 5 of us who spent 5 days at the house. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. It was quiet and the surrounding woods were just beginning to show fall colors.we had the added bonus of seeing Northern Lights on our last night!

We had 19 people staying, the extra porch space is excellent for games-agree with someone else that having a brighter light option would be nice. There is a well put together binder with anything you could think of for things to do in the area. We went tubing down the WI river, rented a lily pad one day and brought it to one of the county parks to the beach, did some shopping in the Dells and hiking-plenty to do in the area-or is a beautiful space to sit and relax!

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for our family.

We liked the county park which was close and well maintained. Spent a lot of times in the Dells (25min.away) Noahs Ark, Dells boat tours, and walking the strip. Also, Knuckle Heads bowling and arcade and the outlet mall next door when the weather looked rainy.

Excellent trip

We had a great time here with a swim team of 10 plus coaches. There is a ton of space to spread out and sleep too. We hit up Noah’s Ark and the Dells plus tubed down the river. Had a great fire and played some volleyball on their net as well.

Excellent Family Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend with family! We were 3 "parent" couples and all our adult children, so the spiral staircase was not an issue. I gave accuracy of listing only a 3 star, as one of the bedrooms was listed as having two double beds and a twin, but it did not. I missed the listing description that said "sleeps 19 in beds" and went by the listings "Rooms & beds" that indicated the place sleeps 25. We were a little confused when we started assigning beds to everyone. Fortunately, we had a couple of no shows in our group, and a few that were only there for 1 or 2 of the 3 nights, and the right number of guys/gals and married couples, so we were able to accommodate everyone. Other than that, we loved the place. Made ample use of the fire pit, and the screened porch was great for storing suitcases, rather than truck them up the spiral stairs. We went to both Adams County and Juneau County parks and enjoyed the water, sand, and especially the sand volleyball court at Juneau.

Home away from home

We enjoyed the house. It was clean and had most everything thing we needed. It would be nice if the was a gameroom but it all worked out well. We played our board games and visited. Was nice to beable to have everyone under one roof. I'm sure in summer would be even better because has a beautiful screen porch and patio area. Thanks for shsring your house with our family.

Lots of sleeping space available. Lots of parking. Large family room is nice. Only 2 bathrooms is difficult for large groups. Washing and drying the bedroom linens is a major turnoff on departure morning! Bad odor and rotted food found in dishwasher upon arrival. Overall is a fair value for a large group. Advertisement of price doesn’t state that there is an additional per person per night fee for every person after 12. Other places we have rented did not charge for a “base rate” and then per person after that.

Amazing Property!

Our Nonprofit Group has rented this location twice this year and both times we have enjoyed it! The house is great and has everything you’d need, the surrounding woods are beautiful and filled with wildlife that we saw regularly. Definitely recommend and we intend on coming back!

Great trip overall. Few hiccups along the way. Some simple non-important issues with house, but nothing that cant be overlooked. Great area if you are looking for privacy. Thought the cleaning process would be overwhelming, however, it was very simple with an extra set of hands and simply going down the list. We did not have a large group of people, so i cannot comment on living space upstairs as we didnt need to use it, but looks very spacious.

Weekend stay

There was 10 of us all adults. Although the house can sleep 16 some of the beds were more for kids not adult men 200+ lbs. The house does have more than enough seating for sitting around and playing games both in and outside. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

Overall a decent place to stay in the middle of the woods. Not as clean as described, and we found a snake in the shower. There was many beds with sheets that had stains on them, but overall nice quiet cabin in the woods.

4 Generation family vacation

We stayed here for our annual 4 generation vacation and were very pleased with the property. We had 11 people ranging in age from 9-81. We loved the open concept and the large seating area in both the living room and the kitchen. We were able to seat all of us at the table at dinner time. The three bedrooms on the main floor worked great for our older generations and the upstairs was perfect for the younger generations.There was more than enough sleeping space. The yard had a lot of room for yard games, plenty of parking for our boat, UTV trailer and 5 vehicles. The deck was for great for some fresh air with plenty of seating. I liked that the firepit was close enough to the cabin that we could run in and out to get drinks and smores easily. The cabin was secluded yet close enough to a town to get anything you need. The only negatives were the bathrooms. There's only one common one on the main floor, which was a little inconvenient for those staying up stairs. The other bathroom is attached to the main suite and it was a little uncomfortable to walk thru someones room to use it. It worked fine in our family setting but maybe not with a group of friends.

1st Annual Family Vacay

Floors and counters were still wet when we arrived at check in time. Our paperwork said that we needed to bring our own coffee grounds or pods for the Keurig that was on site. Our son and his wife brought pods and we were unable to find the Keurig. I texted the owner and she said that it broke. When I told her that our son was disappointed, she said with an exclamation point, there were four other coffeemakers at the cabin. That doesn't help much when you only brought pods. We were also very short on refrigerator space. The cabin is supposed to sleep up to 25, but has the refrigerator space for a family of 6. Everyone used the coolers they transported food in and had to keep replenishing the ice to keep food safe for the week. There is plenty of space for an extra refrigerator in the basement. We appreciated the close proximity to the county park beach and also the availability of the County Market in Adams. The firepit area was nice and enjoyed by our family. The song of the whippoorwill in the evening was an added bonus.

We are lifelong Wisconsin natives and know this area very well having vacationed here our entire lives. Growing up on a farm, our vacation destination needed to be close by. After marrying and having children we again chose to keep our vacation home close. Our two oldest children have graduated college and moved out of state. Our youngest is attending college now. Although we all enjoy meeting up at our central Wisconsin cabin, we also love to explore other areas and vacation throughout the country. Listing our cabin has allowed us to put that income towards doing just that.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We purchased the land in 1998. We built the cabin in 2001. We spend many hours on Castle Rock Lake boating, tubing, fishing, wakeboarding, knee boarding and skiing. There's approx. 8 restaurant/bars on the lake. Many have live bands on the outside deck and beach volleyball. There are county and state parks all around offering excellent hiking and walking trails. We also enjoy being close to the snowmobile and ATV routes. Of course, there is always a camp fire at night. So much activity during the day yet a place and time to relax when we want to.
