Exuma Sea La Vie (Cottage 29): Oceanfront cottage with beautiful views of the ocean, beach and sunrise that are just steps from the front door. The beach in front of the cottage is white and sandy overlooking Elizabeth Harbour, with relatively calm waters protected by picturesque Stocking Island where stunning views are a given and goosebumps are guaranteed.

Customs are a breeze, and Exuma Sea La Vie is about a ten-minute drive away (7 miles).

Perfect size, beautiful view, can walk to Jolly Hall beach if it’s too windy to sit out on deck. Jim and Kim are perfect hosts. They go above and beyond to accommodate every need. Far Exceeded our Expectations!!
Simply put, our best vacation ever! It started with amazing accommodations and wonderful hosts, who proactively provided us with everything we could possibly need to travel to this amazing country for the very first time. An exquisitely clean, well equipped and perfectly situated bungalow on a breath taking beach. For a family of four or less , look no further than Sea La Vie. You will NOT be disappointed! We loved our stay here and we would highly recommend it. Being beach front was amazing and being able to walk to a variety of restaurants was very convenient. The cabin has been freshly updated with a new bed and a nice tv. Our adult son comfortably slept on the pullout bed in the living room and having 2 bathrooms was perfect. People at the resort are very friendly and we had a lot of fun.

You will not be disappointed renting this unit. Kim is wonderful to work with if you happen to have an issue. The unit is well appointed, clean and great location. The Splash bar/restaurant on property is very handy after a long day exploring the island. The staff on property was wonderful to work with as well. The only unit that I saw with a foot bath by the front door to rinse sand before entering. You won't be disappointed staying here.

Kim and Jim are amazing hosts! They provided excellent information about the property and stayed in regular contact to make sure we had everything we needed. The brachfront location is spectacular! We had stayed at this property under the previous owner, and we are very impressed with the upgrades and enhancements Kim and Jim made to the cottage. It looks great, is exceptionally clean, and included many thoughtful touches and lots of storage options. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to visit again!

So relaxing - and centrally located
Tranquility was the perfect spot to stay for me, my wife and daughter. My daughters wish for the trip was beaches, relaxing, shopping, and animal encounters. With our excursion with Exuma Water Sports (30 mins west) we checked off swimming pigs and feeding the iguanas. We were able to walk from the villa to two amazing beaches (highly recommend Jolly Hall beach) and <5 min drive to see sea turtles (Hoopers Bay). We were a short drive to Georgetown for shopping. And having the Splash bar and grille on property was very convenient. The resort had a relaxing pool, as well as kayaks/standup paddle boards to use free of charge. We were steps from the beach (felt very private) which allowed us to snorkel at any time. Great sunrises as well. The villa itself was very clean and comfortable for the three of us, and my daughter even chose to use the murphy bed, which she said was more comfortable than she thought it would be (high praise from her!!). Having the extra bathroom was key. The property managers provided a ton of info on local shops/restaurants, and places of interest. They were an easy WhatsApp text away and very quick to respond with help. I appreciate them making this villa available to use, we hope to make it back.

Amazing location and amenities!
We had an incredible time visiting Exuma. The villa was the perfect size for our family. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook and prepare meals. Having a restaurant on property was convenient too. We utilized the shuttle to Georgetown several times and the resort staff were always so helpful and accommodating. The villa sits right on the beach. The view from it is incredible. Jolly Hall beach (one of our favorites) was a short walk away. The Hideaways resort has a pool which our kids enjoyed daily and we also explored the area using the provided kayaks. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beachfront relaxation
Tranquility villa is right on the beach and it is a great beach. Splash restaurant on site of the resort has good food. There full kitchen to use and grocery stores not far away. The screened patio is great as it is facing east so sun in the morning but then all afternoon and evening in the shade to relax with a wonderful view of the bay.

Wonderful escape to paradise
Had an absolutely amazing time with my parents. The villa is right on the water, views are amazing and tranquility is more than in the name! For a week we relaxed on the beach and enjoyed everything the island has to offer. Christine is a fantastic host, always checking in to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The villa was just as shown and listed, and had everything we needed to recharge our proverbial ‘batteries’ for the year to come. Couldn’t have had a more amazing relaxing vacation. From the booking to the communications with Christine everything was perfect. Villa fronte mare!
Consiglio a tutti di soggiornare presso la villa di Christine, lei è una proprietaria super attenta, disponibile in qualsiasi momento e pronta a risolvere qualsiasi necessità. Prima dell'arrivo fornisce informazioni utilissime per il soggiorno sull'isola dalle spiagge ai ristoranti fino al noleggio auto. Gentile ed accogliente una persona davvero speciale. La villa è fronte spiaggia ed è all'interno della struttura Hideaway (sono inclusi i suoi servizi come navetta, piscina ed utilizzo sup). Ha tutto il necessario per il soggiorno dalla biancheria agli utensili per la cucina. Wi fi e aria condizionata sono ben funzionanti. Al check in la casa viene consegnata pulita. I costi delle pulizie finali vengono dati a parte (probabilmente non lo avevo letto nell'annuncio), forse questa è l'unica cosa che mi sento di segnalare, dato il costo delle pulizie su 6 giorni aggiungerei almeno uno di pulizia durante il soggiorno. Per il resto consiglio vivamente questa villa, ha una meravigliosa veranda (con zanzariere) sul mare, in casa ti addormenti e ti svegli con il suono delle onde,la posizione è a 5 minuti di auto da Georgetown dove è possibile trovare supermercati e taxi boat e si trova a 5 minuti a piedi dalla meravigliosa spiaggia di jolly hall che è quasi sempre isolata. Se dovessi ritornare sicuramente soggiornerò qui!

Great vacation
We stayed at Villa Tranquility for over two weeks. The villa was perfect for the three of us, it felt like a home away from home. We cooked simple meals every day, the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the screened porch. It was too hot to eat outside, but it was super convenient to keep our swim and sailing stuff there. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit, especially for a long stay like ours. Villa Tranquility is an end unit, so it has tons of windows. Our communication with Christine was great from the time we booked (and made changes a few times) to the checkout. On our second day we had an issue with a toilet, Christine got it replaced the same day! We were super impressed; we have rental properties and to get something done this fast is challenging even in the US. The location of the villa couldn’t be any better, it’s very central on the island, and a 5 minute drive from a grocery store. Being part of the Hideaway resort complex was also nice, we used some of their amenities, like a free shuttle to Georgetown. The beach in front of the villa has pretty good snorkeling, especially for beginners and kids. For swimming and relaxing we liked Jolly Hall, a beautiful beach just a short walk from the villa. We rented a small catamaran (from the Out Island Explorers – 5min walk on the beach south of the villa) for the most of our stay and had a blast exploring the harbor. Our favorite spot to visit was Hoopers Bay, swimming with turtles was magical,

About Us: We have traveled many places in the Bahamas and the Caribbean over the last 20 years. With out question Great Exuma is home to the most beautiful crystal-clear blue-green water we have ever seen. The first time we visited was in December of 2019 we immediately fell in love with the island and the people that live there, so much so that we visited three more times before purchasing our own little piece of paradise in September 2024. Our experience each time has been truly amazing and we are spoiled by the serene beauty of Exuma!
