ALOHA! Welcome to our beautifully renovated ocean view hale! This is a one bedroom condo in Kapa’a on the beautiful island of Kauai.
You can enjoy listening to the ocean waves from the chairs on our oversized private lanai or with the breeze lulling you into total relaxation mode as you doze off on the hammock. When you are ready to venture out, you are just a leisurely stroll from the white sand beach. There you can watch the sun rise, walk in the sand or enjoy peaceful time by the water.
Our condo has vibrant pops of color that are inspired by the ocean and the tropical shades you can find on the island. We have fully remodeled the unit with new quartz counters in the kitchen and bathroom, new cabinets in the kitchen, new stainless steel appliances, new luxury vinyl flooring, new paint and new furniture. It truly is an island oasis.

Our condo comfortably sleeps up to four guests. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, refrigerator and microwave. With a full kitchen at your disposal you have the option to cook (or not)! There are several BBQ’s on the property to choose from, with one even adjacent to the backside of our building- so close and convenient!
Enjoy a cool night’s sleep in the bedroom, where there is a dedicated a/c unit and a comfortable king size bed.
The bathroom offers a shower/tub enclosure and plenty of counter space for getting ready in the mornings.
The condo has WiFi internet access, smart TV’s and cable, beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, sand toys, pool noodles and floaties for all of your water fun.
Our hale is perfect for any occasion whether it is just a quick weekend getaway or an extended escape.
PROPERTY:
Enjoy the tranquility of Plantation Hale which features beautifully landscaped grounds complete with 3 boutique pools, 2 jacuzzi spas, shared BBQs and shuffle board courts. It is tucked away on a peaceful side street, where you’ll enjoy a secluded feel as well as have the convenience of shops and restaurants within a very short walking distance. It is centrally located along the island’s scenic Royal Coconut Coast which is well-known for its great variety of restaurants, shopping, farmers markets, coffee shops, and beaches.
DISTANCES:
Just a short walk to Longs Drugs/CVS, Hukilau Lani, Sleeping Giant Grill, Imua Coffee Roasters, and Tree's Lounge.
Right next to the recently updated Coconut Marketplace, featuring a variety of shops and family-style/local restaurants as well as a hula lessons, ukulele lessons and a hula show with a fire knife dancer throughout the week.
A five minute walk to Lava Lava, the only restaurant in Kauai where you can dine with your feet in the sand!

<6 miles North of Lihue Airport.
Just one mile to Lydgate Beach Park.
A few blocks from Wailua River, the only navigable river in the state.

The location is midway between Poipu Beach to the south and Hanalei Bay and Princeville to the north, making it very easy to get around the island in a short amount of time.
The main road around Kauai is shaped like a horseshoe with no roads on the north shore. We are located in the center of the horseshoe and equal distances to the end of the road in both directions.
Within a five minute drive you can kayak or stand-up paddle the Wailua River, hike Sleeping Giant, visit several of the island’s best waterfalls, enjoy a luau & gardens, snorkel or swim at Lydgate's tide pools, and much more.
Wailua is half way between the jungles of the North Shore and the nearly always sunny Southern Coast making a perfect base for exploring.
There is also plenty of shopping close at hand. Gift shops and art galleries abound with lots of fun little restaurants in Kapa’a town. Don't miss the farmer's market with fresh fruit and produce at bargain prices.
It is a 45 minute drive north to Hanalei or 1 hour to Ha'ena State Park (to hike the Napali coast).
Alternatively it is a 45 minute drive south to Poipu, or 1 1⁄2 hours to either Waimea Canyon Lookout or Polihale State Park.
Plantation Hale consistently brings in great reviews for one of the best places on the island to stay. This is a second floor end unit with a beautiful view of the ocean- located about 300 feet from the beach across a grass field with a sidewalk leading from the unit to the beach (it is notoriously quiet and uncrowded). In addition to basking in the beauty of just being at the ocean, you can fish, swim and snorkel as well.

The entire unit (including the lanai) is SMOKE FREE. There is a designated smoking area with a bench in the parking lot.

**The front desk is only for shuffleboard supplies- they are a property management company and have no affiliation with us outside of that. If you need anything, just contact us and we will be happy to help you!**
TV: There are smart TV’s in both the bedroom and the living room -- you are welcome to login with your streaming account (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc) -- and premium cable is included.
Laundry: Available in each building. Building F laundry is downstairs- right below the staircase leading to our unit. A key card to enter the laundry room has been provided for your use and is located in the shell on the entry table-- just follow the instructions in posted in laundry room and download the app to add funds.
Water: If you'd like to fill your bottle, just stroll up to the welcome desk near Building A and there is a filtered water machine you can use.
Parking: There is a lot adjacent to the condo building with one spot allocated for each unit -- park anywhere you'd like. Look for the lot for building "F", that one will be closest. It is the second lot to the very end if coming in from the south and the second one on your right if coming from the north. Handicap parking is also available. Please inform us of the car you will be parking so we can update your vehicle information with the AOAO. There will be a parking pass located in the shell on the entry table for you to use during your stay.
*NO OTHER FEES* There are no additional resort fees, parking fees, cleaning fees, taxes, etc. than what have been collected up front. We wanted to be clear that all costs are included and transparent at the time of booking.
GUEST ACCESS:
The day before your arrival we will text you with your own unique door code. It will allow you to enter the unit at the check-in time and will disable access at the check-out time.
**IMPORTANT- do not unplug anything behind the living room tv- doing so may cause the lock to not work (you could get locked out) and an additional fee if service is required- no one wants that!**
Check-in is at 3pm. Check-out is at 11:00am.
Minimum rental age is 21.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Also worth noting for those new to Kauai is that there are lots of fauna and flora that one may not be used to on the mainland. This is paradise for more than humans and you'll see chickens and roosters throughout the island, geckos (they are our friends) as they take care of other bugs that you might come across as well.
Hawaii boasts a lush tropical climate, which also means it's home to some native insects and island pests. While we work diligently to ensure your stay is comfortable and pest-free with preventative measures, it's important to note that encountering these critters is possible.
We're committed to minimizing any inconvenience caused by these creatures. However, it's essential to understand that their presence does not constitute a breach of contract or entitle guests to refunds. We appreciate your understanding and hope you have a fantastic stay in our beautiful tropical paradise!
