This mid-century modern home exudes historic charm and features warm wood and gold accents. You'll have everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay, and can forget all your worries in this spacious and serene space. With easy access to trails, Kubota gardens, water, and transit, you'll love exploring the surrounding area.
The space

Welcome to your peaceful getaway where vintage charm meets modern amenities. This cozy space is perfect for a relaxing fall stay, blending comfort and convenience.
Main Bedroom: Relax in a luxurious queen-sized bed with serene lake Washington views. Two spacious walk-in closets provide plenty of storage.
Second Bedroom: A smaller, flexible space with a twin bed and cozy cot, great for children.
Modern Upgrades: The house has new wood flooring, great furnitures and high-speed internet with a mesh router—ideal for streaming or working from home.
Downstairs, enjoy a spacious living room with a 65” TV, plush seating, and a stylish dining area perfect for gathering. Hardwood floors with area rugs add warmth to the space. There’s also a half-bathroom and an additional desk, making it a great spot for working remotely.
The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to easily prepare your own meals.
Step outside to the backyard, where a gazebo with a hot tub offers a perfect place to unwind. There’s also a gas grill for outdoor meals (don’t forget to refill the gas), and while the yard is mostly enclosed, your furry friends will need supervision.
Important Note: Basement Details
- The laundry room is located in the basement, which is not part of the listing.
- While there are bunk beds in the basement, we do not recommend staying there. The basement is intended for laundry use only.
- The basement is unfinished and not aesthetically pleasing.
- The stairs to the basement are not standard size and are not attractive.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire home, with the exception of the basement, which is available for laundry use only. Storage areas in the basement are off-limits. We manage the property remotely and will not be on-site during your stay.
Please note, we do not allow parties, and all guests must be registered in advance.

Please note that this is an older home that hasn’t been significantly changed in 40 years with sloped floors in certain areas, particularly in the back and on the second floor. The stairs are steep and have narrow step widths, which may present a slipping hazard, so please be cautious. Additionally, there are steps from the street up to the front entry. Due to these factors, the house is not suitable for individuals who are handicapped or have physical limitations.
The house does not have central air conditioning, but there are two window AC units in the upstairs bedrooms.
The basement is unfinished and primarily used for storage, laundry, and maintenance. It is considered back of house and not maintained at the same level as the rest of the house. While it is accessible to guests for laundry use, it is not considered part of the rental listing and is not as clean as other areas of the home.
Guest Policy:
If you are planning to have non-registered guests, please inform us in advance with the following details: the number of guests, the approximate times they will be present, and the number of cars they will bring. Additional fees may apply, which we can negotiate based on the number of guests and the purpose of their visit.
No parties or smoking are allowed on the premises. Smoking, vaping, or using e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited inside the home. If you wish to smoke, please use the backyard. A $200 fee plus extra cleaning fee will be charged for violations of this policy, which may also result in immediate eviction and cancellation of your reservation without a refund.
Hot Tub Policy:
The hot tub is provided as a recreational amenity for relaxation and enjoyment. To ensure a respectful and welcoming environment, all users are expected to maintain behavior that aligns with community standards and expectations. Any violation of this policy will result in prompt action, including necessary cleaning and maintenance.
Pet Policy:
If you are bringing pets, we kindly ask for your cooperation to help us maintain cleanliness and prepare the home for future guests:
- Please bring your own pet bed or blanket. If needed, we can provide one upon request.
- Pets are not allowed on beds or duvets.
- We provide paper towels and dark towels for cleaning paws or wiping the floor. Please avoid using the white towels for this purpose.
- Pets should be well-trained and use the bathroom outdoors. Please clean up after them promptly.
- A dog waste scooper is provided in the backyard, with a designated composting area behind the shrubs for disposal.
If excessive pet hair or waste is left behind, a $200 cleaning fee will apply.
