A few things to be aware of…
First of all, the property manager was amazing, responsive, etc. To be fair, it seems like maybe this is a newer property, and the owners may be new to this??? That being said, guests should probably be aware it’s a four-story walk-up. Also there’s no stove or oven that works, so we may do with the microwave and air fryer. (I’m mentioning this because I told them “kitchen” infers there is a stove as does the picture and they said they would update listing but they have not). There’s also a hot plate, but we didn’t end up using that. When we got there we basically had 3 1/2 towels between the four of us. The owner/property manager was fantastic about very quickly getting us some more new towels, hand towels, and washcloths…and kitchen towels because there were none of those either. I also requested some basic cleaning supplies, not complaining, but the tub was yucky. At this point, the owner called me and was kind of indignant and I had to send her a picture of what I could wipe up with a paper towel. This rubbed me the wrong way as I was absolutely just wanting to have something to fix the problem not complain. The neighborhood is great, and the price was low enough, but it should also be noted that it was quite loud, so don’t expect the “serene” retreat. I think the windows are very old with thin glass and it sounded like there was a garbage truck and/or construction going on for each of the three nights we were there. Obviously sirens as well, but that’s the city.
