A lovely and very well appointed apartment in the historic centre, only a few minutes walk from the centre with all the bars, cafes and sights. Everything you could need was in the apartment, all very clean and even some welcoming food and drink. Giovanni was most helpful on directions, greeting us, explaining how everything worked (listen very carefully) and giving us tips on where to go, what to see and what beaches are good, depending on the weather/wind! He couldn't be more helpful.
Plenty of space, with a good dining area, a nice lounge, good kitchen, great bathroom (shower was good), upstairs bedroom was lovely with much needed air-con (use the spiral staircase carefully) and a very spacious cellar with a big table and more sofas/beds.
Only downsides a) was parking was a couple of streets away, but Giovanni again advised us where to park for the best rates (2-3 Euros per day, take lots of coins if you can) b) Not a lot of outside space, but you are in the centre of town, so we often sat outside a local, friendly cafe in the glorious sunshine (it was hot, averaging 35+) reading etc.
In summary, a great location and a good base for exploring the heel of Italy.
Highly recommended.
