À quelques minutes du lac Michigan, du centre-ville de Douglas et de Saugatuck. Restaurants, boutiques, galeries et théâtre à proximité. 2 1/2 heures de Chicago et Detroit.

Cuisine entièrement équipée, élégante piscine, pool house, internet sans fil. Cette unité dispose d'une cheminée et laveuse / sécheuse. Linge de maison inclus.
Les unités # 7 et # 8 sont des unités plus petites et n'ont pas de laveuse / sécheuse, de lave-vaisselle ou de cheminée .. elles sont plutôt conçues comme un studio. (1 chambre 1. 5 salles de bains n'ont pas de lave-linge séchant ou lave-vaisselle)

Attractions: établissement vinicole, plage ovale (lac Michigan), sports nautiques, shopping, restaurants, théâtre en direct, centre des arts, heure des tulipes, randonnée pédestre, équitation, Michigan Dune State Park, navigation de plaisance.

Spacious

Very spacious one bedroom condo exactly as advertised. We stayed for two weeks and we were very comfortable. We often enjoyed dining on the front porch which is partially covered.

Lovely place

My mom and i stayed here and really enjoyed it. The sofa bed leaves a lot to be desired, and I could not sleep on it. We had an issue with the TV and the owner addressed it immediatly. It ended up the living area and bedroom remotes were switched. It's a lovely and very clean condo!! Definitely recommend!!!

Comfortable, quiet, walkable... plus a pool!

This was our second stay at the Northern Lights Condominium resort. For this trip, we stayed in #14... a one bedroom, first floor unit. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. We appreciated the location and amenities. Our children loved the pool, and our dogs loved being able to travel with us. This resort has several owner units that are rented out through HomeAway. It's a good complex that is well maintained and easy.

Got the job done

Check in process was easy but would have preferred a more secure check in than walking into an unlocked property. The condo meets basic needs. We were only in the room to sleep so it worked for us. Small blanket for pull out sofa so bring additional blankets if 2 people (kid or adult sized) will be using it. Messaged the property owner the day of check out because we were not able to check out as instructed and never got a response. (Directions were to leave keys on the counter and lock door behind us except the door could only be locked from the outside). Not sure I would stay again based on price and amenities provided.

Perfect location!

This property was the perfect location for us. Great for dogs and kids. We were able to bike and walk many places. The condo was not furnished as nicely as noted and it wasn't super clean. But we tipped the cleaners anyway, although we paid a service fee which I had guessed was for cleaning so I wasn't expecting to have to do that. The kitchen was missing items such as hot pads, so cooking was a bit difficult. The pool area was really nice and convenient. Overall it was a decent place and I would stay again. Price wise, we stayed for less in an ocean front condo in Marco Island during Spring Break. The condo was larger and nicer. So it was a little expensive for the overall cleanliness and amenities.

Rest and rejuvenate!!

Lovely time with a location right at the heart of Allegan County fun!! Short walk to the lake, refreshing pool, quiet stumps here and friendly staff.

Outdated and not as pictured

My spouse and I stayed with our two kids in #14. No basics provided like kitchen towel, dish cloth, washer pods (but provided dishwasher pods), only 4 plates and bowls, no bottle opener mixing bowl, etc. Not enough toilet paper for 4 people for 4 days. Broken toilet hinge so the seat would slide out from you every time you sat on it. The tile grout was supposed to be cream colored but was so dirty it was black. The pullout that was supposed to sleep my two kids was falling apart. Arrived to a note in the welcome letter about how the internet is not reliable. It wasn't. Occupants vacuumed upstairs on wood/tile floor at 8 AM on Sunday morning. Trimmed the bushes outside the bedroom window at 9 AM on Tuesday morning. All this I might have expected if I paid less. We spent too much for three nights of this and this is not even the complete list of things. The positives were the grounds and the pool area. Very nice.

Tulip time

Stayed the weekend to attend the tulip festival in Holland. Great location. Very happy we could bring our dogs. Condo sufficiently appointed. Cozy space. Nice front and back decks. Host easy to communicate with. Plan to come back again this summer.

Just as advertised

We stayed three nights here. Pretty much everything was as advertised. No real complaints. Just a few odds and ends to note. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean, but some dishes on shelves were too high for us short people. All the usual pots and pans and utensils, but we couldn’t find a corkscrew so I had to buy wine with a screw top! The place has an odd layout with one entry to the bathroom from the living room through the laundry, the other from the bedroom. High tables and chairs, with the small table only for two. Outdoor patio in back was lovely. Few other people around or in the pool, so it’s very quiet; no highway noise. Info says no soap, but there were two jars of liquid soap (thank you!), though no shampoo. Plenty of closet space and a large dresser. TVs in each room. A/C worked well (control hidden behind door to laundry). Nice shower, but no grab bars. The bed was a little too soft for my taste. Others have mentioned Isabel’s, just next door. Very good market and deli, below average restaurant, poor breakfast selections. But there are a gazillion restaurants in Douglas – 3 minutes away, or Saugatuck – 5-6 minutes. Galleries, shops, the lovely waterfront, etc., probably the reason you came. But if you like hiking, try Saugatuck Dunes State Park with access to Lake Michigan north of Oval Beach, or the much harder to find Wade Memorial Nature Sanctuary. All in all, we enjoyed the condo, the location, and all there is to do in Douglas and Saugatuck.

Great vacation

Owner was outstanding with communication and resolving a problem prior to the stay. The space was great, the bed was super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed except for a bottle opener. Really nice balcony as well, we hung out there when the kids were sleeping. Bring bug spray, there are a ton of mosquitoes. Location was good in that it was a short drive to everything, though the only things walking distance (with kids "walking distance" is shorter) were Saugatuck brewery and the weed store. That turned out to be a problem on a Saturday because there was absolutely nowhere to park in Saugatuck so we had to change our plans. Not a huge deal, just make sure to go early if you want to go to downtown Saugatuck. Pool was wonderful.

Perfect spot for us

Perfect condo for our family extended weekend (5 days) in Saugatuck/Douglas. Pool is great and accommodating (never crowded even on a peak weekend) and the nearby amenities can’t be beat (including Isabel’s market actually in the property parking lot). Very quiet overall and the staff were great - including pulling in a package we had shipped to the property. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience!

We came for a long weekend to get away from the hustle. The accommodations, location and setting did not disappoint. Proximity to oval beach, Saugatuck and a swim in the pool were perfect. The added bonus of the sunset with a family of deer passing topped off an excellent getaway. Highly recommend.

Great mini-vacation

Nice and comfortable condo!

We loved our stay at Northern Lights and would definitely stay there again. The location was great. The property was well kept and our unit even had a nice outdoor living space- but unfortunately the weather didn’t allow us to fully utilize it during our stay. Pet friendly too!!

Delightful!

Great 1 bedroom condo that had everything we needed. My husband, 6 month old pup and I were looking for getaway from covid and lucked out here. Super clean, nice pool, lovely landscape, close drive to beach and local shopping. Only complaint was bed wasn’t in best condition-super creaky

Quiet Family Vacations

The apartment was clean but they forgot to clean the table of the terrace. The bedding clothes need to be replaced. The view of the terrace is to the parking which is not really nice and the apartment complex is located in a highway. The pool was clean with few people and we were comfortable.

Excellent condod

The Northwrn Lights condos are in great shape, clean and nice grounds. I'd definitely recommend them. My only suggestion is that the condo mgmt folks provide soap.
